  1. Next question: is it a waste of a slot to stick a damage proc in Mud Pots? Should I, instead, max out acc/endred/dam and leave it at that? Doesn't seem like the slow nor the immobilize chance are worth a damn.
  2. I turn 50 next month, Troo. I can't remember what day of the week it is.
  3. I use the stopwatch on my phone.
  4. It appears Brimstone doesn't fire off with Mudpots... but on the plus side, Brimstone itself can Crit. O.o
  5. Wait one.... Brimstone doesn't buff Mud Pots? Edit: But since Brimstone itself is Criting on my scrapper, does that mean Brimstone's damage will be buffed by Fury?
  6. It'll be tougher than the claws/bio. Unsure offensively. Doubt it will push /Bio's damage output but I've really little clue. I know I slapped together a build on beta when the stone rework landed there and seem to recall it a bit slower on the pylons but not by much. Should probably revisit Moonbeam on the claws/bio as well but having experienced it on my nrg/bio scrapper, I am somewhat meh about the whole thing. Hit the 8 hour mark at level 31 on the claws/stone. Amps have dropped, noticing the loss of defense and recovery. Also, Tuatha are very mean with their quicksand against defense builds with crappy DDR. 32 now. Just grabbed shockwave. The end usage has me seriously considering Body Mastery/Hasten again and just sticking with Followup, Focus, Slash, repeat. Then again, since I have to go Ageless Radial for DDR... no extra recovery there but it will be topping off my blue bar regularly. Just gonna have to play and see, I guess.
  7. Oh yea... Provoke does help tons against runners. Sure, it cuts into my DPS and makes me waste a power pool pick and the "logic" against scrappers having the same taunt auras as their brute brothers is highly suspect... but it helps.
  8. No build for that combo but I promise it will be sick. Since we ARE talking brute (instead of my brain-farts in the claws/stone scrapper thread) you can groove with the ET-long, TF, ET-short, Gloom, Bonesmasher single target chain. Fury/Brimstone backed Mud Pots taunting for ya and buffing Nrg's lowish AoE output. Throw in Darkest Night for more -tohit/-damage and you probably won't ever need Granite except in extreme cases.
  9. Ahh, correct. It was late. Moonbeam and Shadow Meld instead of Gloom and Darkest Night. Although not sure the build will need more defense. More help against CDF, I guess.
  10. Here's mine. She took out a 54+3 Praetor Sinclair the other day without a hassle. Musculature, Degen, Assault, Pyronic and Carnies. Don't think she has any accolades yet. Purples are +5ed in game if not in build. Edit: Attack chain is ET-long, TF, ET-short, Moonbeam, Bonesmasher, repeat.
  11. I tried out Confront before I respeced at 23 because I am SICK of the damn runners. I don't know what changed since live but this is serious bullshit. Provoke feels damn necessary on scrappers now. I've got enemies running away at 50% health. If it wasn't for focus, I'd be losing my mind.
  12. Runnin +2/x8 at lvl 25. 4 hours in solo street sweeping + radios. SO only until 23. This is the build at 25. Yea, still Amped up for another 4 hours. Kinda wishin I hadn't experienced this. Brainstorming... due to the extra healing and HP from EE, and the extra recovery from CA, I see no reason to go Body Mastery, and thanks to Billy Mailman's redraw testing, I no longer fear DPS loss from Gloom... so Soul Mastery it'll be. Followup, Focus, Slash, Gloom, repeat should still be perma-doublestacked on FU but I haven't verified. With Darkest Night in the mix, that'll be even less incoming damage, and the loss of triple stacking followup on focus will probably be more than matched by the extra damage from BA. Slap in Ageless Radial to cover the low DDR, and all n all... I expect this combo to be stupid strong across the board. Probably won't even need hasten. Could take provoke instead. Edit: Mids has HP wrong. At 26 with EE up he has 1384 HP. LATE edit as per BrandX: Moonbeam and Shadow Meld, not Gloom and Darkest Night. 13. Do it anyway. Form of the Body + Offensive Mode is kinda fun.
  14. That would certainly be a deal-breaker. No clue why that would be the case, though.
  15. I just got the master of apex badge on a non-badge run with my archer blaster. Wasn't until I was back in the base that I realized I had taken 3 powers from the medicine pool. Ooops.
  16. Nah. It ain't hard to fix. Remove the endurance nerf that ONLY masterminds suffer. Set all pets to be even con to the player and adjust their damage output accordingly. It ain't rocket surgery.
  17. Hey @Mike Morbid What'd you end up tryin? Any fun?
  18. It wasn't but the answers the OP needed were posted early on and can be summed up with "cheat cuz ya ain't melee."
  19. While I'm sure some will appreciate a more menacing walk for RP reasons, ain't know way in hell I'm givin up the hippy shake on my ladies.
  20. It's @Wernerthat rolls with the shield/ma. I have too many damn tanks since the buff. I bitch about how ridiculously OP they are because I keep running new ones through various level spreads and find that their leveling speed, thanks to being able to crank up the diff at ludicrously low levels and those big AoEs, is absurd. And then, of course, the solo speed they hit at 50 and T4ed.... All 50 tanks: Shield/Nrg (My main tank) SR/Claws (BZB tank) Dark/Stone (Has fold space, solid but doesn't really excel at anything) Inv/Nrg (No ET or TF, tough as nails, built for tanking) SR/DB (Mk-X Victoria, even has LBE) Two lowbies I'm tooling around with: Ice/Spines Bio/Rad Both will be ridiculous when done. Soooo... fav OP combo? They're ALL OP but the shield/nrg is the worst offender of the bunch.
  21. I can grok that. I have a dark/pain troller (think I erroneously called her /time in another thread) that's glorious to watch but she, too, is slow as snail shit soloing. Keeping pain bringer and spirit ward up on the dog helps some. Late edit. I have both dark/time and dark/pain controllers. They're both slow but pretty.
  22. General consensus seems to be that it's pretty dang bad at both ST and AoE. That said, you're a brute, it'll work. Seems like the -damage aspect would be beneficial for defense based sets against hard targets. Maybe?
  23. Versus beating up a lvl 54+3 Praetor Sinclair solo with my nrg/bio scrapper. Which I just did. On topic, my only MM, a demon/thermal, is at 50 but I've not touched her since. Almost built a mercs/ff mastermind yesterday but my spine threatened to jump up through my skull to stop me so I relented. I honestly don't see how yall tolerate 'em.
