Regarding restaurants and pubs, I wish they were actual, enterable gathering places that used the AE building mechanics so you can observe the goings-on outside whilst eating/entertaining inside.

It's been there since the zone opened in Issue 21.

I still hop on it occasionally. Send out expeditions from my frigate. Just found the console on the where I can build the Corvette (not much of a PUG-er so I'll likely be gathering/buying parts piecemeal rather than doing the Expedition 19.

I use this one as it adds a visible/easily identifiable button in your powers tray you can push on to toggle on/off: /macro_image "DayJob_XPBoost" "XP Toggle" "option_toggle noxp" To the OP, Greetings & Welcome! Also: When you decide to venture Gold-side (Blue-side being heroes, Red-Side being villains and Gold-side being Praetoria) You will need that XP toggle to not outlevel your string of contacts. Even without an XP bonus from the P2W vendor or Day Job boost, you will outlevel them. I do love the factions and "side-switching" in the Gold-side arcs a lot more than the side-switching available to heroes/villains in Primal Earth.

1. I think I read an article in a PC mag or something and was interested enough to go buy the box, this was about a month before the first HeroCon in 2008. I would have gone to that but it took me about a month to look up the forums. Very uncharacteristic of me. I knew zero people playing CoH at the time and after I finally made it into the game one of the first people I encountered gave me 250k. I thought that was a lot back then 😄 and though it was very cool of some random stranger to do so. 2. What first hooked me about the game was the character creator, pretty sure I spent 2-3 hours in it that first night. And to this day I still spend a considerable amount of time in the CC. What continued to draw me in though was the people I met, I found some RP'rers on Protector out of the blue, don't even recall how, I think it was Vulpy who was always in character when he was on and I was on my very first character Angel Red, who actually had a back story. Also came across some folks in the Fun & Games section of the forums that I palled around a lot with like @El D and @kyothinks. The wild af thing was they all knew each other in-game and RP'd together. So I ended up joining them and RP'd with them up almost up until the game closed. Is was all great fun. Although there was that one time I Confused Scirocco during the STF and caused the tank to lose agro and Kyo's "WTF!!?!" over Skype... oops... granted it was funny as hell when Scirocco beat on Ghost Widow for a good 3 seconds. needless to say, I took Confuse out of my rotation during that portion of the STF after that. Sad to say, I lost my wind for RP and playing when the shut-down was announced and I never really could get back into it when I came back in to HC.

I've been searching for info on TJ for a couple of years and finely found confirmation that Curtis passed away 27 July, 2022. I met TJ while playing on Justice server back when I first started playing CoH and then met him at HeroCon in 2009, he was a great guy to hang with, though there was that incident with the gathering in Ex Libre's room and a broken table. I wasn't present but heard about it the next morning. I believe that copious amounts of drinking was involved. Great list, one of the ones I played the most besides DnD was Traveller. There's something to be said about your character possibly dying during generation. 😄 I also enjoyed many a nights playing Marvel and Champions PnP back in the day. Was seeing promos for Dexter: Resurrection a couple of months ago and found it interesting, but I didn't want to watch it without watching all it's predecessors so I got a late start delving into the Dexter Universe. Yeah, I also tend to dismiss arguments/comments that use "Most/Majority" as there is no way they could possibly know that info. I myself am only slightly annoyed to the point of it merely being 'meh' at other people's use of KB, I find it easier to shrug and deal with it than complaining about other's play styles. I love playing on my character's with KB as I tend to use it positionally/situationally, usually in combination with a "Delivery for you Ser!" as I lob or bounce enemies at the tank's/scrapper's feet.

Unfortunately, Sonic Assault won't be in the Rosetta Stone, since that was compiled by PK (aka@_NOPE_) and hasn't been updated for quite a while now and Sonic Assault was just added back in I27p4. I'm not nearly as adept at pigg-diving as PK.

Thank you for posting that, been looking for that video for a couple of years now. Pretty sure I have is saved on my desktop but it's still in a box from our last move. And that's still not the most amount of one-shot damage you can take in the game.

Rikti monkeys and their explosive flatulence. Sappers, Family boss' Singularities, Rikti Comm Officers and the like? I love all of them... on my Illusionist. Nothing funnier than a Sapper draining his own party, Singularity bouncing his Boss ass-end over tea kettle and the Comm Officer spawning a confused portal. Endless fun. I even hoard Cupid arrows for the same reason.
