What I think the Homecoming Team should support? CoH playable executable ✔️ Operating servers, multiple if possible ✔️ Maintaining and stabilizing the codebase ✔️ Give up base fixes and items (because I care about this more than costume parts) ✔️ Access to Prestige/unlockable costume parts from the start ✔️ Unlock Prestige powers ✔️ Seed the market to help mitigate the outrageous prices that were on Legacy ✔️ Give us a Test/Beta server that we can test builds and/or new content on ✔️ New Archetypes (1 so far, I suspect there will be more eventually) ✔️ Revamp older content: No more escorts please ( I'm sure there are other annoying things that Legacy changed in newer content, but needs to be propagated to older stuff) Better lighting, this is a personal request since I like to take screenshots of my characters, but gamma values are ignored so more often than not screenshots turn out way too dark I'm sure there is more but this is what I can think of off the top of my head at the moment. So far, I'm pretty happy with what a bunch of volunteers have given us. I think they should spend time continuing what they've been doing. 😊

I look at the flow of development like this: The folks that volunteer their time working on CoH:H, cleaning up code, developing content, etc. do so because they love the game as much as we do. They do this despite having real jobs that take up who knows how much time. They don't get paid to do this, yet they do it anyway, the only monies they ask for are to keep the servers up and running, everything else comes out of their own pockets. This also includes the time they have spent putting the game into a place it needs to be with regards to dealing with NCsoft. For something that we are getting for free, I don't see the pacing as an issue, especially since they are still performing maintenance updates.

About the only requirement is that your character needs to be L20. Further details can be found on the wiki.

During sown times I will usually do marketeering on my main. Once that is done, I will play musical characters and relocate them to as yet unacquired day jobs. There have been times where I have logged on to some of my characters and had about 8 day job bonuses running. 🙂

I don't consider any archetype or powerset in the game to be "Team-Dependent", that's right up there with saying your team needs a "healer". That doesn't mean that people can't purposely gimp their build with powers selection/slotting but those are outliers, not the norm.

All powersets already support already support all play styles since play styles are an element that apply to players, not to the character or their powersets. This might be true in other games where you have a very limited array of powers, and sometimes only one or two available to your character because you chose the play style when you chose the character. Jedi Sentinel, Trooper Commando, Khajiit Nightblade, or Gnome Illusionist, each has its own play style. While the powersets in CoH are not wide open to every archetype (nor should they be) there is so much customization available to players, that they can chose to play nearly any play style with their character.

Yes. Not because of "all of them" but because one player's solo is another player's story/team/etc.

Don't forget to hit the P2W vendor for 2XP (FYI, the buff is good for 1hr and you can stack up to 8 of them) and the bonus attacks/buffs/movement abilities like Nemesis Staff, Wisps, Ninja Run, etc. Also, hop down to the Guides section, there are several farming guides, some with tips on builds and some that mention specific AE missions set up for fire farms. Like...

Oho, that's a loaded question lol. I noticed that you never did answer the question...

I alter my own sound music files though CoHSplasher would make it easier, but I do miss having my own loading and Icon screens. Edit: Here's the other thread. Seems you need different versions to work with different parts of game.
