  1. Ooooh. Can I see that build, so I can see if I want to make changes to my KM/Elec?
  2. Also, when teamed, I believe in Tactics is where it has more of a chance to go off, I don't think it has the same additional chance in Build Up
  3. I'd put the set in Tactics, not Build Up. I wouldn't hold off on any of SR for later levels. You can take Evasion much early than lvl 35. I don't have my build available for my /SR at this time (as I did it by hands, not mids, since it had updated to the new issue yet), but you can be softcapped a lot earlier now. Believe I get it by lvl 30 (so I can exemp to 25 and still be softcapped). I look at your build and wonder if you just slapped it together and went "I made a build, what should I do differently"
  4. I think I'd do something close to this... This Villain build was built using Mids Reborn 3.4.7 https://github.com/LoadedCamel/MidsReborn Click this DataLink to open the build! Level 50 Mutation Brute Primary Power Set: Dark Melee Secondary Power Set: Fiery Aura Power Pool: Speed Power Pool: Leaping Power Pool: Flight Power Pool: Fighting Ancillary Pool: Soul Mastery Villain Profile: Level 1: Smite (A) Mako's Bite - Accuracy/Damage (7) Mako's Bite - Damage/Endurance (7) Mako's Bite - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge (9) Mako's Bite - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (9) Touch of Death - Chance of Damage(Negative) (11) Gladiator's Strike - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 1: Blazing Aura (A) Superior Brute's Fury - Accuracy/Damage (11) Superior Brute's Fury - Damage/Recharge (13) Superior Brute's Fury - Accuracy/Damage/Recharge (13) Superior Brute's Fury - Damage/Endurance/RechargeTime (15) Superior Brute's Fury - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/Recharge (15) Superior Brute's Fury - Recharge/Fury Bonus Level 2: Shadow Maul (A) Armageddon - Damage (17) Armageddon - Damage/Recharge/Accuracy (17) Armageddon - Recharge/Accuracy (19) Armageddon - Damage/Endurance (19) Armageddon - Chance for Fire Damage Level 4: Fire Shield (A) Gladiator's Armor - End/Resist (21) Gladiator's Armor - Resistance/Rech/End (21) Gladiator's Armor - Resistance (23) Gladiator's Armor - TP Protection +3% Def (All) Level 6: Healing Flames (A) Preventive Medicine - Heal (23) Preventive Medicine - Heal/Endurance (25) Preventive Medicine - Endurance/RechargeTime (25) Preventive Medicine - Heal/RechargeTime (27) Preventive Medicine - Heal/RechargeTime/Endurance (27) Preventive Medicine - Chance for +Absorb Level 8: Siphon Life (A) Superior Unrelenting Fury - Accuracy/Damage (29) Superior Unrelenting Fury - Damage/RechargeTime (29) Superior Unrelenting Fury - Accuracy/Damage/RechargeTime (31) Superior Unrelenting Fury - Damage/Endurance/RechargeTime (31) Superior Unrelenting Fury - Accuracy/Damage/Endurance/RechargeTime (31) Superior Unrelenting Fury - RechargeTime/+Regen/+End Level 10: Temperature Protection (A) Steadfast Protection - Resistance/+Def 3% Level 12: Hasten (A) Recharge Reduction IO (33) Recharge Reduction IO Level 14: Combat Jumping (A) Kismet - Accuracy +6% (33) Luck of the Gambler - Defense/Increased Global Recharge Speed (48) Shield Wall - +Res (Teleportation), +5% Res (All) (48) Reactive Defenses - Scaling Resist Damage Level 16: Plasma Shield (A) Gladiator's Armor - End/Resist (33) Gladiator's Armor - Resistance/Rech/End (34) Gladiator's Armor - Resistance Level 18: Dark Consumption (A) Obliteration - Accuracy/Recharge (34) Eradication - Chance for Energy Damage (36) Scirocco's Dervish - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (36) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 20: Consume (A) Obliteration - Accuracy/Recharge (37) Eradication - Chance for Energy Damage (37) Scirocco's Dervish - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (40) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 22: Soul Drain (A) Obliteration - Accuracy/Recharge (39) Eradication - Chance for Energy Damage (39) Scirocco's Dervish - Chance of Damage(Lethal) (39) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage Level 24: Burn (A) Obliteration - Damage (34) Obliteration - Chance for Smashing Damage (36) Scirocco's Dervish - Accuracy/Damage (40) Scirocco's Dervish - Damage/Endurance (42) Scirocco's Dervish - Chance of Damage(Lethal) Level 26: Midnight Grasp (A) Hecatomb - Damage (43) Hecatomb - Damage/Recharge/Accuracy (43) Hecatomb - Recharge/Accuracy (45) Hecatomb - Damage/Endurance (45) Hecatomb - Chance of Damage(Negative) (45) Mako's Bite - Chance of Damage(Lethal) Level 28: Fly (A) Winter's Gift - Slow Resistance (20%) Level 30: Phoenix Rising (A) Empty Level 32: Boxing (A) Empty Level 35: Gloom (A) Apocalypse - Damage (37) Apocalypse - Damage/Recharge/Accuracy (40) Apocalypse - Recharge/Accuracy (42) Apocalypse - Damage/Endurance (42) Apocalypse - Chance of Damage(Negative) (50) Cloud Senses - Chance for Negative Energy Damage Level 38: Tough (A) Unbreakable Guard - Resistance (43) Unbreakable Guard - Resistance/Endurance (48) Unbreakable Guard - Resistance/Endurance/RechargeTime (50) Unbreakable Guard - +Max HP Level 41: Dark Obliteration (A) Ragnarok - Damage (46) Ragnarok - Damage/Recharge/Accuracy (46) Ragnarok - Recharge/Accuracy (46) Ragnarok - Damage/Endurance (50) Ragnarok - Chance for Knockdown Level 44: Weave (A) Luck of the Gambler - Defense/Increased Global Recharge Speed Level 47: Hover (A) Luck of the Gambler - Defense/Increased Global Recharge Speed Level 49: Fiery Embrace (A) Recharge Reduction IO Level 1: Brawl (A) Empty Level 1: Fury Level 1: Sprint And I would maybe ditch extra DMG Procs in Midnight Grasp and Gloom to somewhere else, just to get more +Resists or more Nuke ability for Dark Consumption and Consume. With this it looks like I could go Smite > Midnight Grasp > Smite > Siphon Life > Gloom > Repeat for single target. Not sure I feel ToF is worth going for. Could be tho! Not sure what I'd put in Phoenix Rising, but maybe the -Resist Proc.
  5. I've come to feel that no slow power seems to really slow an enemy down. At least not the slow powers on DPS. /Martial Blasters have a slow power and enemies don't feel slowed.
  6. It's been awhile since I ran an Ice Tanker, however, I would think Defense first, after that, maybe Regen can beat out Resist or equal it, in terms of what to chase after. You should be, I believe maxing out HP after all. Tanker Proc will give a nice 6-12% Resist as well.
  7. Same, couldn't change the claws on my Widow either.
  8. I wanted to do it for my Fire/Axe Tanker's Consume, but I wanted the set bonuses of Synapse's Shock more than turning it into mini Nuke. 10% Slow Resist to get my Tanker up to 80% Slow Resist plus the additional +RCH and 4.5% Energy/Negative Resist. With 1 application of Might of the Tanker Proc, I'm at 83% Ene/Neg Resist, and I often have 2 procs going, which puts it closer to 90%. It's probably harder to do with Brute, but they have a +Regen Proc to go with their survival.
  9. You can with Scrapper, hence why I said you can't with Brutes and Tankers. I have a Claws/Stone Scrapper was enjoyable 🙂 Mudpots doesn't really slow enemies down, even with slow slotted, so I wouldn't slot for slow.
  10. I'm curious how you built it, as I have a Fire/Axe built for max resistance and as much recharge as possible and squishy is not the feeling I get on my Tanker, and now it has +HP and +100% Regen to take on to what it had. Dark Melee would be adding in To-Hit Debuff and an attack that doubles as a self heal. And for the combo, something that makes the set fun, is turning Dark Consumption and Consume both into free nukes if you don't need other set bonuses from the powers. My Fire/Axe doesn't do it, but my Ice/Fire Brute has 3 Damage Procs in it (and their set's ACC/RCH to get the first bonus in each).
  11. I'm curious which ones you'd think would be so great on males, considering I know there's plenty who feel even the female avatars only have a handful of good ones. 😛
  12. I'd suggest going EM/BIO pick a Melee AT. Grab Mighty Judgement. I know you said to many effects, but it has a minimum FX option and it's abilities just feel like things he's done in at least JLU. EM I RPed as Psi Melee before there was a Psi Melee.
  13. Gash is the higher DPS, beating Chop by just over 11 DPS, but Chop can slot the -Resist Proc, which helps all the following attacks.
  14. That IO is just an extra 3% to Crit always on bonus (like LotG +7.5% RCH IO). It doesn't proc. Critical Strikes that I have in Concentrated Strike, however, does proc. So, I have it in Lightning Field as I wanted the +6% S/L Resist bonus and I wasn't worried about procs in a damage aura.

I've felt fine going with the idea of max the resists, +RCH, and as much +HP as you can squeeze in (without really chasing it). Done this on the idea that I really didn't want to go after a defense focused build. I tried Power Transfer set in Power Sink, since it has the +Heal Proc in the set, but that was just meh in application. So, back to the current set I use. Soul Storm is slotted with Lockdown Proc, which I take the hold because I like having a hold and the animation is nice 🙂 Obviously you'd likely want to do things a bit differently, including possibly taking Hasten. TW also has an attack you can get Melee Defense with. If I was TW/Elec, I'd go for Resists/Recharge and MAYBE, if I can fit it in get the Parry.
  16. I don't know how it would play out in a completely proc'ed out build, but Chop can take the Force Feedback Proc like Gash and slot the -Resist Proc, while Gash, cannot. However, you'd only have 1 single target attack until you have access to Swoop at level 24. I use my first attack Chop right now, only when I exemp down for Posi TF (maybe Synapse, I don't recall) and it's only 2 slotted with 2 Touch of Death IOs
  17. Cleave is even set up as a single target attack, isn't? Before it was basically Axe version of Head Splitter.
  18. Works for mine as I go Cyclone (bring them all in close to you) > Pendulum > Cleave > Burn Cleave has a smaller AOE around the target, so it doesn't hit as many as Pendulum, but it usually tags another, and it's still a good Single Target. I'd think the AOE is good for teams 🙂 However, you're right, it's an attack, so you'll likely want the slots.
  19. It's not a cone anymore. It's a PBAOE around the target of the attack.
  20. Why would you skip Pendulum? I can understand skipping Beheader and Gash, as you can probably go Chop (able to have the -Resist IO probably moves it above Gash) > Swoop > Cleave for single target, but you'll lack some attacks for awhile doing that. Pendulum has the 8ft AOE around target.
  21. Ran a Spines/Dark Scrapper back with Paragon Studios. Was able to keep the damage toggles going while running thea good enough ST DPS chain it could solo AVs. It' been awhile, but I had it pretty survivable. I didn't use OG. I did use CoF, the -toHit and fear effect. For Dark Armor tho, my suggestion is to always have all the +END/REC Procs at the ready! Numina/Miracle/Panacea/Performance Shift/Theft of Essence: +End Proc (for Dark Regen) and slot them ASAP! So lowest level on those IOs! Makes the experience much more enjoyable imo. I just wish I had that build still, but you know, lost in that time of no CoH. As for FA's changes. Well, of course my already great Fire Armor Tanker was just helped more by the changes, but I would love to know ho much it's felt to help the Scrappers, more specifically, the ones that didn't focus on Defense bonuses (this isn't to say no defense in build).
  22. A project I may do myself, as I've done it with my current main, a KM/Elec Scrapper, is max those resists and go with the recharge. It did just get the +HP and +Regen added to it and I had a Katana/Fire Scrapper alt back w/ Paragon Studios.
  23. 3:40 - 3:50 on my Storm/DP with T4 Cardiac Core (Yeah...need this :p), T4 Degen Core, T4 Assault (just passive) So, roughly around 300 DPS. ES (4 Procs, one being the purple) > Pistols (4 procs, one being the -Resist) > DW (4 Procs) > Pistols > Repeat w/ casting Freezing Rain (no procs), Tornado (no damage procs) and Lightning Storm (no procs) when they're recharged. Tactics running with Gaussian w/ Chance for Build Up. Lightning Storm has a 60 second duration tho, so may have been a better idea to wait to cast Thunderstorm, as I'm not sure if that gives you multiple storms or new one replaces old one.
  24. I don't recall Fire Armor being considered a good Secondary on Scrappers 😛 Not that I would discourage it's use.
  25. Had to care enough they made a tv series (I think twice w/ one being recently) on it tho! Also...Tom Hanks! 😛 But hey, on me. I quote movies often.
