For a Scrapper... Claws/Stone Scrapper Why? Because Tanks and Brutes can't do this combo. Scrappers can! Also, it can become quite sturdy and when it does start to fail, GEODE!

And I also said, Ice Patch only KDs 5 targets and that other sets do plenty of KD. Claws and Titan Weapons come to mind. Not saying I want the change, just don't think it would be some big detriment to Fury.

Ice Patch still has a limit of 5 targets on the patch. I can only think back to my Ice/Fire Brute's farming missions, but keeping Fury wasn't an issue. Mind you, I'm not saying combine Ice Patch and Force Aura, but there's plenty of sets with lots of KD that keep Fury up.

Brutes build Fury with attacking, so would Ice Patch really be an issue? TW is all about knock down and been plenty of those.

I don't recall anyone ever saying Ice Melee was a top performer but did mention it best played on Stalkers.

Hazard zones, last I recall, were level restricted on getting into them. Didn't they get rid of that back on live? I don't recall, been forever and all 😛 However, I believe that's what constituted a hazard zone.

I honestly don't recall Kinetic Melee being considered B tier. @Ston has it in the D tier with Staff Fighting. Only considered B tier on Stalkers. Though, the -Resist was just an idea I was thinking of Kin Melee also being a sort of Sonic Melee (so -Resist). But the CS geting crit needs to be done regardless imo and making Focused Burst a good attack instead of a pass by many would be great too.

Got to thinking on this set. While I still believe Focused Burst needs to be made into a real attack. 157.15 base damage at it's animation time should be just under Smashing Blow without enhancement in terms of DPA. Not sure how enhancement would factor in after the fact honestly, but I do feel either way, it's become a useful regular attack even if it's on the longer side. Give CS the same crit damage that ET/TF get for Scrappers/Stalkers. Then the last thing I thought the set could get was a -Resist component. Could be the melee version of Sonic Blast.

Bio Armor/Street Justice Dark Armor/Claws Electric Amor/Titan Weapon - I have this combo and I love it! Fire Armor/Ice Melee - Love it for it's thermalkinetics, I have an Ice/Fire Brute Ice Armor/Fire Melee - Another thermalkinetic Invulnerability/Radiation Melee - Radiation Melee gives a good place Resist Proc Radiation Armor/Super Strength Shield Defense/Energy Melee Stone Armor/Battle Axe Super Reflexes/Savage Melee Willpower/Spines - Spines, like Radiation Melee, comes with a damage aura for the Resist Proc AND I have a Spines/WP Brute and I like it as my Sabertooth/Wolverine Homage

Kin and Martial Arts along with Street Justice. Sets I wish I could mix and match their animations 🙂 I say go for Kinetic Melee and hold out hope for buffs!

I still question if Cross Punch would be better than Bone Smasher. Even if CP can slot a -Resist. ET > TF > ET > BS > Gloom

Of course, IOs would be there to build to avoid it all! Psychic Eruption idea is to put it on par with Burn from Fire Armor. A travel power built into the armor set? Seems unique and different to me. Kept it the same level as Inertial Reduction in Kinetics.

They didn't lose anything. The defense is still there. They just didn't get to rely on one specific defense for everything. Now I'm curious on it too, did WP get a Psi Resist buff with the loss of their defense with the defense change?
