  1. To build on what Angel said, I think we have a HUGE Incarnate population now, drowning in threads and looking for places to spend them. And if you don't need C or UC salvage, that pretty much leaves Inspirations
  2. Anyone else noticing Travel Power Suppression is REALLY aggressive after this patch? My fly speed is closer to Walking speed after executing an attack, for about half a second. Combat Attributes says it's halved, but it feels WAY slower than that.
  3. I have a Dark/Plant/Pyre blaster that is really well balanced for solo play. Two ST holds, one AoE hold, Bonfire, a self-heal and lots of debuffs. Plus, y'know, DPS.
  4. I'd suggest making the stationary Traps pets TP-able (ie. TP other) so that you can relocate them, pull them to the next mob, etc.
  5. Micro Repecs! Spend 10 merits at the vendor, and you can move one slot to another power. So you don't need to do a FULL RESPEC when, for example, you discover you have enough global recharge to make Hasten perma with just two recharges instead of three.
  6. I'd add the creepy skipping animation the Red Caps use!
  7. I have an illusion/poison troller I use and leveled almost exclusively for Summer Blockbuster Trials. She is absolutely PERFECT for the trial- massive debuffs for all the AVs and Phantom Army handle aggro management. Spectral Terror for the minion phases. Even with a team of level 15 n00bs we tear through the trial every time.
  8. I have a plus'd out Savage/Shield. It's fun on a bun to play now, bouncing around the battle like a bloody pinball. But man oh man was it ever a tough slog to get to 50. Without good set bonuses, it was almost unplayable. Low survivability and just brutal on the blue bar.

    Elec/what?

    Elec/Kin is my favorite build post-relaunch. Take Repel, slot a Sudden Acceleration KB->KD into it, and you become a walking knockdown patch. Conductive Aura will keep you topped up. The only possible downside is it is NOISY AS HELL! After running a Elec/Elec/Mu Dom and a Kin/Elec Fender, it is STILL my favorite Sapper Build. I can turn a 54 Minotaur EB into a hack rack in one shot. Plus, everyone loves a Kin on the team!
  10. This. My poor Sonic blaster just stands there, long after her power activated, waiting for a high five that never comes. I'd also add Ice Armor and it's warmed-up twin Energy Aura. Poison, too.

  12. OK, just tested this on my NRG blaster, who has a full set of Overwhelming Force in her Nova, and yep, Knockback City. Which is strange, because the Overwhelming Force proc IS working in Bonfire on my other toons...

I would say about 80-90% of my targets get significant knockback (ie. enough to be annoying to teammates) and you can probably discount the other 10-20% as targets missed or defeated by the blast. They're not getting punted across the countryside, but again, they're getting knocked WAY more than I have ever seen with the Overwhelming Force proc in play.
  16. I have a Illusion/Poison, built for and leveled almost exclusively on SBBs. The flow of SBB fits PERFECTLY with her powers. Spectral terror for the minion mobs, PA up for every AV. Massive debuffs, even a heal and a rez.
  17. So I have the Overwhelming Force KB->KD proc in my Quasar (the whole set, actually) yet I am still getting tons of KB from it. This isn't against -20 minions in Perez either; talkiing about +0 though +4 enemies. Anyone else experiencing this?
  18. Rad and Kin will help you get Phantom Army up faster, which is really the keystone power of the set. Poison is great sometimes, not so great others- it is AMAZING on SBBs! Storm is like strapping a saddle to a rabid panther. Fun as hell if you like mayhem and chaos!
  19. My Fire/MA is almost entirely ranged- the only exception is using Burst of Speed to zip into melee, nuke, and then Burst of Speed out again. She does STUPID amounts of damage >:-D

  21. I always map the thumb button on my mouse to Bodyguard mode. Because I am a clod and its much easier to just grab my whole mouse than find the right button in a crisis.
  22. Fire/Rad is a great combo. You will kill a lot. You will BE killed a lot. It's super effective, but you will get rekt if you get careless or reckless. Ice/Time is much safer and easier. Weak on DPS, but you can pile on stupid amounts of soft control. Earth/Kin and Earth/Storm are great too. Earth's -def is a big help with Kinetics, and Storm has lots of redundancy with Earth, so you can stack stuns, KDs, slows, etc. My new fav combo is Ill/Poison. My theory was that if I couldn't buff my PA, I would debuff everything else. It REALLY shines on the Summer BB trial- plenty of time to recharge PA between AVs and it makes AVs MELT.
