  3. Yep. She is one of my most played toons ever (been here since issue 4 - damn I am getting old). She has done just about everything - short of the Master of the ITF run because I really hate that type of challenge. . . But my favorite was taking on the 3 Seeds of Hamidon AV's and the only thing I worried about was her getting winded when the SM end buff dropped at the wrong time! But she can die. . . my Dark/Spines. . . I don't think he has ever faceplanted - I can put Dark Regen on auto, make dinner, eat, do the dishes, take the dogs for a walk, shower, and come back and he is still standing there smiling.
  4. Dark/Spines Scrapper is my namesake. . . Remade into a brute on Homecoming. . . And now runs as a Tank that just cannot be taken down - like ever. . . Now does he kill really fast. . . yeah that is a big no. . . is the fluffy commander of the battlefield fun to play - ABSOLUTELY! And yes I did build a Dark/Savage Melee but she was not nearly as fun as my Shield/SM so I would say avoid that combo.   5. My Stalkers are second only to my Tanks on Homecoming (12/10). . . Any Stalker can be a solo machine but if you want to push the limits here are the ones I have just found AMAZING: Elec/Shield (already mentioned multiple times but this is my goto Stalker for just about everything. Ice/Shield (close second to the above) EM/Dark (this just feels like a stalker should feel) StJ/Bio (I was quite surprised by this combo and sustainbility but definitely lacks AoE) Mess around and you can definitely find a Stalker to your liking and become a relentless killing (errrr. . . arresting) machine!

A couple of my outliers that I have found insanely fun and insanely durable: Spines/Ice Scrapper (quickly replaced my spines/dark and even my spines/fire) Shield/SM Tank (she has been one of my most played characters ever and played since issue 4) Grav/Dark/Stone Troller (she is retired now but when Homecoming came online she was main for months) and even though it has been mentioned: Electric/Shield Stalker. . .   7. I rolled up a Bot/FF and PL'ed him to get to this mission. This is the build I ran with, settings at +0/1 and had no problem steamrolling. I did keep medium purple and green inspirations in my tray and popped one to keep my def at soft cap and even used one on the big guy but I didnt have any issues.   8. I put this together quickly and kept it mostly in line with what you had. Managed to up your defense significantly, get end reduction into all your bots, up your choice of damage on AS, and make several other miscellaneous changes. I had a Bot/FF MM back in the day and played him to 50 but was a little to passive for my taste, however, I do remember not being able to die, like ever, on him.   10. And you should see your stacks on resist staying pretty standardized at 2-3 stacks. The S/L decrease is why I also added the Melee Core Embodiment. With 2 enemies and triple stacked +resist ATO you are already above the resist cap by a fair amount, plus the other resists are at the cap also (other than toxic/psy).
  11. Had a few minutes so I threw this build together. I did add in 2 incarnate slots (but disabled them so you could compare) but otherwise everything is exactly the same power choices as you took at the same level. I did bump it to +5 slotting since I see yours is on +5 slotting and brought you up on several key aspects. If I had more time I could tweak it further but only had 10 minutes or so! Take a look at the build I posted: Shred damage: 329.4 vs your MS at 221.2 Plus with the tanker proc in shred I have consistent activation on the resist proc to boost my resistance across the board (usually I can get it to stack 3 times consistently) If you like your slotting put the extra SA in SC for the AOE bonus. With your recharge time you wont get much benefit from the energy damage proc: you will only get the extra damage once per minute when you factor in activation time, DDR recharge, and timing. Drop the additional from Tough and you can pick up more resists by slotting MS in SL and still keep your AOE defenses high. I would take 3 slots from tough, put them in Maneuvers or Weave and pick up the additional accuracy and SL resist with LotG. You are also missing the +HP from UG so should find room to slot that. And you are going to be battling your Endurance at several points especially when soloing +4Avs or taking the Master of ITF challenge.
  13. I am not a fan of fly but if you are that is great and i can definitely see a winged avatar character concept. That being said you are sacrificing quite a bit with this build: Maiming slash is redundant in a high level attack chain. I can typically cycle between Shred, Vicious Slash, RF, Shred, Vicious, RF mixing in SL and Shield Charge. Dropping the +recharge into SC and VS procs enough times to keep the attack chain going. Also, slotting out 2 powers with the entire Tanker sets wont proc enough to be of large benefit. Would be better off splitting those sets to enhance proc chances and pick up some of the lower tier buffs. 6 Slotting Tough doesnt give you a lot of return on investment and could supplement Hami-Os and pick up a couple free slots to utilize elsewhere. As for Comabt, focus on the mobility of your character - remember SL picks up bonus damage when at greater range, so I tend to hop around a lot: Open up with SL, Shred, VS, RF, build-up, shield charge, Shred, hop back, SL, RF. . . most everything = dead.
  14. I prefer the +resistance on a Tank being in a cone or AOE power as it "seems" to proc more often (I am not a numbers guy). I just found my resistance stayed consistently higher when in the cone over the single target and as a tank I like having multi-layered resistance + defense. The absorb proc is great for those times when things penetrate your DDR (stupid master of ITF) and you need to quickly high tail it out of danger. I find a good blend of procs and +damage/accuracy/end to be best for my playstyle. You can pick up more damage with more procs but lower to-hit and accuracy (I hate missing) but my luck tends towards the negative so I try to keep accuracy high. I try to squeeze Musculature into every tank for that extra damage push.
  15. It does but unfortunately activation time and recharge time just weren't worth the trade offs. It worked out much better to pick up the bonuses from MotT and SA in all my testing and playing. Putting the procs in Rending Flurry was so much more gratifying!

While I enjoy some of the Incarnate crafting (Hybrid, Alpha, and somewhat Destiny) I would be happy if the incarnate system going forward (if there are plans to move it forward) would simply allow us to craft more slots for our existing powers. Two Tier system moving forward with first tier opening up one additional slot and Tier 2 opening up 2 additional slots. Each new Incarnate slot would then apply only to Main, Secondary, Pools, Main, Secondary, Pools. . . The last thing my heroes (or villians) need is more powers. . . Instead some of them would like to be able to slot a few more powers with 6 slots - or even the game breaking 7th or 8th slot!
  21. Read David Goggins "Can't Hurt Me." While you wont agree with all of it, and definitely be aware the language is NSFW by a long shot, it is a great book about the ability of the mind to transcend any of those barriers. The audiobook is even better and if you are the sensitive sort, he just released a clean version that I am giving to some of my younger clients. It isn't politically correct, it is inclusive in the way that all of us suffer, and it is a brutal but powerful story. If you are on the far right or far left of the political spectrum you will be offended but that is a good thing after you finish the book.

  25. Here is what I have been running and have to say I am very happy with his performance. . . Haven't completed my Incarnates yet but so far he is pretty much on easy street for most things.
