  1. I guess the question becomes why would not expect there to be any differences? They are two different sets with completely different themes.
  2. Personally, I do not find Kinetic Melee all that horrible. I play it just as much, if not more than other melee characters I have. I would agree Power Siphon needs a review and adjusting to allow for the effect to last much, much longer. Some of the animations are a just bit too long, but workable and at least to me fits within the theme of the set. People seem to be forgetting that not every player is a DPS chaser and is looking for the combo that does the most damage the fastest.

    Same here.
  5. Seconded. It is a nice-to-have prior to fully kitting your character out with IOs. Beyond that, it is a waste of pick in my opinion.
  6. Unfortunately, no. There is no "blank" or "sky" option for walls or floors, only ceilings.
  7. "Natural origin" does not necessarily mean "normal human." See Superman, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter, Thor, Namor etc.
  8. Nor do I, however if it is increased to a 2,000 character limit, there will no doubt be people yet again asking for more space. Totally agreed.
  9. Not sure if adding the disorient procs are enough to stun an AV and keep them stunned even with the built in disorients on MA. Back in the day, you used to be able to keep bosses and EBs basically perma-stunned by chaining Cobra Strike > Thunder Kick > Eagles Claw, but that was prior to the guaranteed stun being removed from Cobra Strike.
  10. You will need to click the "Pick Style" button on the editor menu while in the room and then click on the mid wall area. That should bring up the available styles for you.
  11. I can confirm Kinetic Melee works beautifully with Ninjitsu. 😁 One of my favorite scrappers to play.
  12. I have DB/Nin, Kat/Nin, KM/Nin and StrJ/Nin scrappers and they are all A LOT of fun for me at least. All depends on what your goals are.
  13. No it is not lol 😁 All kidding aside, this is actually good advice. My original main was MA/Regen back in the day and the KD/Stuns worked well with together. It allowed you some breathing room to click those heals by keeping targets knocked down or stunned.
  14. Sure. Be forewarned, I am not the best at building out characters lol. I tend to go for complete sets versus picking various pool powers as IO mules and such. This is what works for me, so your mileage may vary. Playing this, I have found that having the 3 positions over-capped works just fine. I am routinely fighting +2/+3 x 8 Arachnos, Carnies, Malta and CoT in PI radios and have no problems with them. For Incarnates, I went with Cardiac. I have not really had the need to slot any of the other Incarnate powers on her. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids' Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1458;658;1316;HEX;| |78DA6594DB53525114C6F7810308888A4A2A8AA4A502264AF5DE4C593D188E65974| |73AE1418F9E0107B0C9C7DEBB8D5AFD0365F5D21FD2F5BD9C2E7F80D54C3553D385| |96E7FB221BCEC0FCD8DF5E6BAF6FAFB337D92B93CD8F4F5E3DA2B49663B651A9E46| |6F3656379D92CFBA68DEA4AD9B0953CDEAC51B6960C9FFC8CFC9DCF654DDB34D353| |46D5281A3D7575D22C98C58A999EB68A8B56B5B2A2DA674A253B7DA254CE9BB9522| |177C1B2ED10246B7EA16A15E7FF1F0531B27786E1E3CB563E7DB434B79ACB1A95AA| |595EED1607C3F2BDBE63C5796A1EF5C4AD544657A9A7E433F0C073F205F912F4242| |54D7372DDAA537334571BD901EA11D02BB11A6335C6EA8CF532D6CBD81BE2C94D4F| |EE8BBAA38D19E425320F8ECF9126E8933A1ED4D13DACD3C43A4DAC13609DC014F67| |153EAF958CF77CFE568CDF7C90760CB26F9106C7B04DE9244BFD3849AEEDFC27AE3| |6FC0CC3BF22DF91E6C128F41E468C15185F5C86A42A910BCB842AF50A3FD35B905F| |A25BF957E5BD7A075AE931BE09EDBE41DB0FB2EE812BF61E4AA701435DDA275F0DD| |747C81C7EEAF60F41BD87710D42536C2FE46D8DF28FBDBC7FEF6B3BFFD9F911310B| |F5DC8F1749DE6DC1970EF2C79963C070E9C07D7A45E0FF7DAF3037B18F849FE02F7| |FD266BA442DD75C9ED656E6F017BDD3F4F2E901638BC482E8141F11C83672DB6633| |E2673DFB1EE86AC1BE7BA717A1AA1A7243D25E929494F297ABA26B983ECFF20FB3F| |2B5343D486780E36E51024505F25B6911B124FA38C1B658F2B725ED2D4D2CCBD2CD| |A04B5096A7D7AFD9ECB471E15D7EBB7B73695AACFD6520D91130D4AA64139D4A01C| |6E504E3528333A2D88A2398ABFAD7EF76BDB81FA7F86D2C6B08F8FBBB501F4E5C36| |E2D81B84FFF3497C63B32C2BB30C2BBF007F4A6E3C4| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|\
  15. Just wanted to say the choice of thread title is quite hilarious! 😁
  16. Clustercluck is epic! 😁
  17. There is nothing wrong with feeling this is not an idea worth any development effort. With that said, my experience with this is that changing a super group name is nothing more than a simple SQL update statement. Character renaming already exists so I would guess renaming a group is not an enormous amount of work. The group UI already allows for renaming of ranks and such. If the words "nothing fancy" mean "full sized outdoor plot" then that is you. Seems to me the intent of the OP was to provide something much more small and basic. That is nice however you are once again assuming everyone plays the same as you do. Some people may whereas others may want to store and craft their own things.
  18. That is entirely you having unrealistic expectations and not at all understanding what the post said. As usual, you are making the assumption that everyone is like you and would want or expect a massive, sprawling maximum plot size base with intricately designed complex structures with all the bells and whistles. Not everyone wants that. Some people are just looking for a very simple, one room hub that has everything they need in one convenient place and are not at all interested in aesthetics or anything complex. Also, @Ukase expressly stated in the post the bases would be "Nothing fancy, just a base with TP beacons to all zones, tailor, trainer, workbench, insp storage, enhancement storage bin and empowerment buff stations." At least to me, that is very clearly described.
  19. Yes, I read the post, thanks. Again, building simple bases does not take long at all. "A lot of work" is subjective to the person.
  20. Simple, basic bases are not at all difficult or time consuming to build, so not sure what you mean by "lots of work".
  21. Yes please.
  22. I can work on the left side of the screen normally. GM ColdSpark confirmed the editor has a bug where it will not work right at UHD or higher screen resolutions. I created a bug report for it here. I guess there is some sort of screen resolution limit baked into the editor code. I can work around, just super annoying to not be able to take full advantage of the whole screen.
  23. GM ColdSpark suggested to make a thread for this. I have found that the base editor seems to have a bug where it will only allow you to place and manipulate objects on the left side of the screen if you are using UHD (3840x2160) screen resolution. It appears there is a maximum resolution the editor is capable of. In the screen shots below, I can place an object just about mid-screen. I am able to move the object as far left as possible and manipulate (raise, lower, rotate etc.) so long as it is on the left side of the screen. If I drag and move or try to place an item on the right side of the screen, it simply does not work. It seems like the cutoff point is somewhere mid screen. On a related note, the black theater bands on top and beneath cut scene animations stops about 3/4 of the way across the screen. The right side loses them entirely. I am wondering if there is some sort of maximum screen resolution baked into the code? Image below shows the area I am able to use while editing. Outside of the red box, the editor does not work at all, regardless of camera rotation. 1. I can place the item here at mid screen. 2. I am able to drag and move and manipulate the object anywhere to the left side of the screen with no issues. 3. If I try to drag and move the object back to the right side of the screen, or place an item to the right side, it will not work. I can only drag the item to about half way across the screen and it just stops. I cannot move it farther right or place items on the right side of the screen. The editor still works inside this "box" on the left side of the screen, however it is super annoying not to be able to use the full width of the screen while editing.
