Its still here. The best friend I had here has come back and me and my wife have our favourite game to play again. I also get to change things about my toons I didn't like the first time around.

I like it. Its a slow starter but a PBAoE tier nine and a variety of secondary effects make it a nice set. Also I didn't realise an Insight Strike with Greater Psi Blade damaged surrounding enemies too which is another nice touch.

Dear god no. This happened in Monster Hunter World and players got abuse for not being 100% effective. I don't want that here.

Just one thing you may not have considered. EM clips horribly through the shield. I ran one of these and it bothered me no end. May not bother you but its something to consider.

I'd like real clockwork, not that praetorian nonsense. I can dream.

I remade both my mains and the alts I actually kept up to shut down. I've changed a lot of them though. My Shield/EM Tank became my main which retired my Ice/Axe Tank. I changed him to Psi Melee because not only do I love telekinesis, the energy powers clipped so horribly through the shield. Looked ugly as hell. I absolutely hated it and wished I went Elec Melee back then.

My Archery Corruptor is called Nock Nock.

I lost my creative streak. Back in 06/07 I got so bored at my awful job I ended up writing about 4 pages of Axewrath's (my old main) back story. Havn't even written in game bios yet which is crazy. Will have to give it some thought.

I've not encountered any of this. Hell in the short time I logged in today I saw people asking questions and getting help from experienced players. Also came 2nd in a costume competition where everyone was congratulating each other. Since I came here I've not seen any hostility in game at all.

I dunno man, you really think there's a good use for Flurry? When you want Burnout but not Super Speed. ;D

Back in 2005 I played my first year almost every day until around 3am. Left to go to work around 7:30 and spent the time at work before I started my day looking up which powers to take. Then I set off, filing the papers while thinking about my build. Couldn't do that now, that was my 24 year old body. Today that would bloody kill me.:P You combine a ton of awesome features and great community and it makes CoH feel like a comfortable home. I think that's what draws us all in. I can obviously relate and I too am finding a fresh start great. Being mindful of not burning myself out too.

It didn't require "pouring over combat logs"... Exactly. I was asked about my slotting and got turned down for not meeting the criteria.

As a tank I only had a hard time finding teams when fire tanks were at the height of their popularity, pre burn patch nerf. Everyone just wanted the fire tank to do everything while they stood around (got so damn boring being in those missions) but ED never affected my ability to team.

My main is Shield/Psi Melee. It's like psi was made for me. Telekinetic powers, and aoe tier 9 and my favourite status effect. Couldn't be happier.

This is also true. I was able to recreate my main with her proper name and Origin this time around. Whereas last time I shifted concepts part way through. So it always felt weird. All this is true for me too. A fresh start after a long break has made CoH feel almost new. Plus for my old main I chose the wrong origin, bugged me like hell back in the day! All fixed now. My MM has the demons that were not available at Villains launch and I have my dream Shield/Psi Melee Tank. Feels great to be home again.

I became quite adept at dealing with those little sods. Super speed in and then so much knock down from battle axe they couldn't do a thing.

Dear god I won't be using that lol. ;D Would love a way to make glowy's a bit louder though.

I'd love to make glowy's louder since turning up the volume in heavy combat is a bit much.

I'm ok with it. After so many years of having to unlock these things its nice to have them from the get go.

Obsessing over my fire blaster's costume. Think it took me over an hour, maybe two. My OCD was really bad back then.

Good to hear. We're also in the process of getting much better internet here, so everything should be fine.

How did you do it? Is there an "easy setup guide" out there somewhere? If not, could you make one? I would have PMed this to you, but it looks like you have your account setup to not take PMs. I'd be very interested in this too.
