Depends on what role you want to play. To me Scrapper's just don't appeal. I'm still a good Tank with this combo.

The pre fire tank nerf days. So many tells asking if I was a fire tank only to get no response when I told them I wasn't. Rude and irritating.

Yes. I've got the 'Reveal' power which clears the entire map in one go. Thing is I can't remember where I got it. It may be from the p2w vendor.

Take a look next time you use it with Insight. 'Insight Strike' will appear above the heads of all mobs in range and the psi damage of the attack will be done to them too.

My main is a Shield/Psi Tank. Both sets have a damage buff and AoE's. Once you have Insight, Greater Psi Blade becomes an AoE (the description doesn't tell you this) which gives you a total of 3.

I made this mistake back on live. I feel your pain. I came up with some explanation for it in his bio.

Just gotta work out a way to play via a laptop on top of my trolley without being seen by about 14 camera's and my team leader.

You get a huge defense bonus so you're safer when flying low. Also you have far better control to help you manuver at higher speeds. Not a big benefit. I just love it for the speed.

I was told to 'chase me for buffs' once when I announced 'gather for buffs'. He didn't get his buffs. I can't be bothered with that.

Psi Melee actually has 2 pbaoe's. If you have insight while using greater psi blade it becomes a pbaoe.

Really? Well that sucks. Enjoyed the surprise enemies popping up.

Tanks are an example of slow solo. They're fine later on but if you're going solo with defence and melee on a toon, best go for Scrapper or Brute.

Ice/Axe FTW! and yes, I made it because people told me not to make it. It was "let's see what I can do with this" character that turned into my signature toon back on Live. I didn't stick around to see Incarnates happen though... and all my IO set slotting was for the Enhancement value, I pretty much ignored whatever set bonuses I was getting as gravy. Svengjuk was a legend. I haven't been able to bring myself to play him again. In fact, all my old toons, can't do it. I've moved on to new things. I'll admit, sometimes the naysayers are right and something is gimped. But it is fun to prove them wrong when you can. Axewrath was my Ice/Axe main back on live and my first proper character. It was difficult but a lot of fun (although Terra Volta made me wish I hadn't chosen super speed). Only ever saw one or two other heroes with the same combo.

It has to be a super hero MMO. Theme is what is better for me. Tried WoW briefly and LoTRO kept my interest for over 700 hours. In the end only the best hero MMO does it for me, though. If I play fantasy it needs to be more hack 'n slash like Skyrim.

I disagree. What we were told and what the reasons were, were two very different things. Kiting mobs with travel powers was NEVER a thing. People were more concerned with trying to herd than they were with kiting. I must be in a minority. Used to enjoy kiting with super speed. It was counter productive. A very slow way of getting a kill. It was fun, though.

You should definitely put it in your Mass Levitate. Since you're looking to only affect yourself, having up to 10 opportunities to proc is better than 1 opportunity. That said, if it came down to a single boss, and you have no other minions to proc off of, then single target would be optimal. But generally speaking, go PBAoE. And if you can, minimize the enhanced recharge in the power to better improve the proc performance per activation. Makes sense. Looks like I'll put it in Mass Levitate. Thanks for the advice. :) Before you do, I just noticed something. Since the Proc is 5 PPM, you can actually maintain a 90% chance to proc if you keep the recharge enhancing below 80%. As for Mass Levitate, if you had the same 80% recharge slotted, you would need to hit 3 targets to get to 90%. So definitely keep that in mind. However, if you're looking to use Superior ATO and 6 slot it, you will have a recharge of approximately 100%. That would drop your probability with the ST to 83.3% chance to proc, while the PBAoE will have a 49% chance to proc off each target. If you hit 3, your chances of Proc'ing at least once is 86.8%, with 5 targets it's 96.6%. I also see that it stacks, so perhaps if you hit more than 1 target in the attack, you will stack with the one attack. That would be ideal. So in the end, if you plan to need it for mobs, definitely put it into the PBAoE. For a ST baddie (an AV that just won't go down), you might want to put it in your single target attack I'm going to be using it for mobs so I'll stick it in Mass Levitate. +inf
