I grabbed my new mains name first, then I remade my old villain and hero mains. After that I remade all the old alts that actually survived past level 10ish. That feeling when you see them again. Its like an old friend returning.

Nice I had this idea too, using my Shield/Psi main. Psi's got a solid foundation of control along with some procs it may work quite nicely.

Remember Vigilantes also have a fear power. Its not that good but something to consider.

I don't see why not. We have to be the errand boys of contacts and play 2nd fiddle to the famous heroes in our own game despite doing all the heroics.. We should get the cool stuff for once and stand out.

Back when I was a noob tank I caused a team wipe. Respec mission, surrounded by purples. We were fighting one group of Skyraiders then I foolishly taunted a second group. I ran and survived (hooray for heroism!). Luckily the team didn't realise it was my fault. I never did that again.

Shield/Psi Melee. Shield gives me one of my favourite attacks and another costume piece to customise (plus the 'C' on the Council shield matches very nicely with my main's name). Psi Melee is a personal thing because telekinetic powers are my favourite type. Now my tier 9 AoE has had its damage buffed to useful levels and the cone is wider, all the real flaws of the set are gone. Still I do mourn the loss of AoE Insight Strike though.

I suppose its different if you lack an ocd brain. God it did my head in.

One thing you need to consider. EM clips horribly through the shield. It looks terrible. Just something you may not have thought about.

Tbh I'd be in favour of getting rid of them because of all the problems they caused when they came blueside but I'm not mental. Its never going to happen.

Agent Stab is my Willpower/Dual Blades Tank and its always been a lot of fun.

As a Tank main the reason to take fly is so I don't get detoggled every single time I use my travel power. When you've had to enable at least 6 toggles over and over for countless hours you'd want to take it from a pool, too.

These changes seem to be terrible over all. My suggestion to wipe it all and start over. Make Tanks the ultimate in aggro management. Separate them by using what was meant to be their primary benefit. Make taunt hit more targets (say 7 for example), remove punch voke from brutes, give brutes say a 3 target taunt and then call it a day. Forget the mucking around with damage that's going to ruin the fun.

So again I looked at Psionic Melee and desptie appearing to fit the requirements the AoE and cone only have the target increase. Can Powerhouse explain if this is intentional or have the range and arc buff been left out by accident? Before this discussion I always felt the arc was too narrow. Was the only reservation I had about the set.

Unless I'm misreading/misunderstanding Psionic Melee seems only to have the target increases, not the range. Should it not be getting the a bigger cone and AoE? This along with loosing the AoE Insight Strike leaves the set feeling a bit underwhelming for a Tank patch.

I was there on Defiant's last day. As per usual I was late to the party and there was no room for me on the final Hamidon raid, so I just flew around and helped where I could. As silly as it is I logged off some characters right on the spot they first spawned in Atlas Park. Sort of a poetic full circle of events. Felt empty right from the moment of shutdown. Hated it. I had good and bad experiences but the good outweighed it all and I made serveral friends. I miss the old days of having more friends in the game but ultimately I'm just thankful to have it back. My best mate from the live servers is back and my wife still plays it with me so its great.

Nope I just made a joke to my wife about NCSoft shutting the game down (seriously don't take my game again pl0x).

Maybe it doesn't fit a lot of concepts. However it fits mine perfectly. Snakepit (Plant/Savage) was fire back on live, but Savage fits his beast like apperance a lot better.

Look at the quailty of some of that content, its awful. For example Telekinetic Assault that has one actual TK power, is wildly unbalanced and uses recycled assets? No thank you. I'd rather have slow, good quality content like Force of Will than what I've seen on other servers. Hell we're lucky to get new content. I'm just happy to play again. My advice is to look at anything we get a bonus.
