  1. I can see the Hamidon, or Devouring Earth, mutating the kitten into a giant cat monster and unleashing it onto the city.
  2. Is there a way to save the location of the custom windows? Failing that, what do I edit in the custom windows' file to change its default placement?
  3. CoH/V definitely has good music, problem is it's all short tracks that don't loop, so I end up with my own music playing most of the time. As such, other than Atlas Park, I can't associate any tracks with any area.
  4. So, I was at a crystal, looking through timelines to mend, when I noticed the Praetorian Powers Division arcs. "Huh, that's interesting," I thought, and decided to choose the first one, with Praetor White. Not only did it work, but no one questioned, or even so much as batted an eye to my legitimacy, as far as anyone was concerned, I was a fresh Powers Division recruit! Now I can't help but wonder, how did you pull that off? I don't even have a Praetorian double to replace! I'm really in awe of just how perfectly I fit into this timeline. 😁
  5. I remember seeing a picture that overlayed one of the office building maps over the building it was supposed to be in. The map was an impossibility of design and had no way to actually fit inside the building
  6. I've made the same character several times, and each version has different powersets; Shield/StJ tanker, Kin/Nin Scrapper, TW/Nin Scrapper, and will likely make more, thinking another Shield/? Tanker. Basically, she's a merc turned hero-for-hire, who uses the money she's made to learn as many fighting styles and weapons as she can.
  7. The problem is it can't be dismissed. I can get around it following other players, but I HATE being forced into it following me. Sorry, but that was just a BAD idea.
  8. So, my character I was playing today, who isn't a parent, or even human, suddenly has this kid thrust on her and is told it's hers? No, that COMPLETELY ruined immersion for me. I don't mind if others like it following them, but having no way to dismiss it or turning it off is just bad, and ultimately comes off as IMMENSELY creepy.
  9. The bat and brawl patch? Sure, they're great, I'd actually like to have the bat and modified brawl put into the P2W vendor after this. The "kid" thing? No, not funny at all. I was enjoying myself today until it showed up, now it has my anxiety through the roof because this game is an escape for me and now I refuse to play while that creepy thing is following my character around.
  10. Uncomfortable, indeed. Immersion-breaking, immensely creepy, and not allowing us to get rid of it has me shaking my head. Let us dismiss it, please, you've had your laughs. Thing wasn't funny for even a second for me.
  11. This. It's creepy, and what characters I have that -are- parents aren't even human, the rest would have dropped the kid off at the nearest police station. Devs, next time you do something like this, let us dismiss it. You've had your laugh, now move on.
  12. Let me know when this is gone. The rest I found amusing. This? No, not playing with this thing following my character around. At least give us an option to disable it. Otherwise, not logging in until it's gone, even if it means not logging in for a month.
  13. Praetorian Recluse never happened, Stephan Richter was killed by Praetorian Cole when they discovered the well, so he never even had the chance to become Recluse or anything else. I forget exactly what mission states this, but it is stated quite clearly in either dialogue or a clue in a Praetoria mission.

  15. Holy crap, I have a Kin/Nin, PSI/Nin, and TW/Nin Scrappers at 50, and never even considered putting procs into Blinding Powder, instead I've used it as a mule for a Cloud Senses set for the bonuses. Time to rework a few builds... and yes, I'm LOVING my TW/Nin Scrapper, it's one of the most anime combos out there XD I tend to open with Build Momentum and Whirling Smash, love seeing so many crits thanks to the in-set stealth power.
  16. I just barely noticed this XD Didn't expect a rely that late after I made the thread, which is why I only now seeing it
  17. Last night, most of the team I was on crashed while waiting at a mission door. Here's a crash log. cityofheroes-7z05qcz524ekm3dbm92vwg1jgs.report
  18. I find it actually help the set. It not only gives mez protection, but also defense debuff resist. With enough recharge, you can have it perma-double-stacked. My shield tanker has around 85% def debuff resist because of that
  19. That's because Praetor Duncan in the DA arcs can only be contacted via phone, she doesn't have an corresponding in-game model for the crystal to teleport you to.
  20. I wouldn't skip Grant Cover, it contains a good amount of your def debuff resist, 17.3% of it, in fact. My shield Tanker wouldn't be hitting over 90% defense resist without it, and my shield Brute is between ~50% to ~70% with it, depending on if Active Defense is double-stacked.
  21. DB/Fire build, which I've affectionately termed the "chainsaw". Capped to S/L/F resists, and just barely under soft cap in S/L/Melee defenses. End hog, but between Consume, Conserve Power, and Ageless, I only ever run out of end when I forget to press one of those when I start running low, or enemies hit me with a lot of end drain. Also, have a proc in every attack in her main attack chain, including the Superior Critical Strikes proc. 22. The last part is ANOTHER reason no-appeal bans should NOT be a thing. Sorry, I simply DO NOT care how good you think your process is, at all, or how unlikely you believe normal play could get to the metrics you're looking for. I've seen too many games with "no-appeal" bans that have screwed over legitimate players who aren't breaking the rules, to EVER trust them.
  23. Ok, I'm on board for stopping RWT, but the "no chance for appeal" raises SO MANY red flags. Sorry, but whatever system you have in place, you're still human, and humans make mistakes. Having a "no appeal" policy for RWT sellers means eventually you're gonna ban someone innocent, and that someone is going to permanently lose their account with no possible recourse, something I'm WHOLLY opposed to, and always will be.
  24. Shield/StJ Alpha: Agility for recovery and defense. Judgement: Mighty Radial for concept, and because watching the enemies get knocked into the air is so satisfying. Interface: Degenerative Core for MaxHP debuff. Lore: Longbow Core (She's an ex-Rogue that now gets paid by Longbow to do Hero work) Destiny: Ageless Core for more recovery and recharge. Hybrid: Melee Core for more resist, Assault Radial for more damage, alternate as needed.
