  1. Ok, I know.  I know, alright?  I still haven't got that dangable Grenade Control Set written out in detail like I said I would.  Gravy knows that I've got WAY too many unfinished projects as it is.

    Inspired by @Steampunkette's post on Whip Melee ( https://forums.homecomingservers.com/topic/27171-whip-melee-because-whips-are-cool/ ) and -yet another- discussion about _this_ topic happening in-game (when doesn't it?), I'mma pitch this here:
     
    WHIP CONTROL!
     
    So, since there's a limited number of animations, we have to get creative (just like Steampunkette did in the other thread).  Ideally, we would be able to edit out the infernal flame portion of the animations, and have the attacks look like a regular whip, with optional choice of energy-whip as a Power Customization choice.

    Normal = Single Target Moderate Duration Stun with small Smashing Damage followed by tiny Lethal Damage Over Time

  3. I would be quite happy to contribute donations toward the contest, @Flintlock Burnfur.  Which Global should I mail them to in-game?

    As Thursdays are my work-late days, and I don't know if I'll be getting the stat, I may not be able to attend until the late evening.  As such, I don't think I'd be reliable as one of the "supporting cast."  I'll try to be an attendee, though!

  4. For what it's worth, I always try to make a point of only voting once on any poll.   I'll admit that very old polls might be subject to an additional vote from me if I rediscover a thread after several months, but never on an official time-locked poll.

    I do wonder if the forum admins and mods can see which accounts have made votes, though.  If not, they may want to write to Invision and request that feature PRONTO.

     

    Also, seems some people take exception to Exceptional.

  5. I think we're getting out of range of the "recycling" lately, @Tyrannical.  Of course, that's more of a matter of organization and categorization for the purposes of this thread or that thread.  I still like the overall ideas you're sharing here!

     

    I'd suggest that Low Gravity offers Defense instead, honestly.  Lighter, easier to move, agile; that whole thing.  Doesn't necessarily have to make real physical sense in terms of the real world, but more that it "feels" more "right" to get Defense for Low Gravity rather than Resistance in terms of the game (from my perspective).

     

    Gravitational Pull sounds utterly delightful.

    Well, back to the original topic at hand:  Madripoor was nice!  Very cyberpunk.

    I'm still waiting for a good cyberpunk (or, dare I dream? Shadowrun) television series.

    But Madripoor scratched that itch nicely, for the time being.
