  1. If stealth is supressing Reaction Time (as a way to let you not aggro mobs with the Debuff aura while hidden) that could be doing it.
  2. If I may make a non-blaster suggestion....you simply can't solo "all redside", without trying a VEAT at least once (Plus, otherwise you miss out on their unique arcs). 🙂 If you want to try something a little different than your used to, I would highly suggest a Crab Spider. Solid ranged/AoE damage, still survivable at low levels, and always appreciated on a team with all their passive buffs. Not the flashiest, especially at low levels when all you have is a rifle, but Crab is still a fun and pretty unique playstyle.

Congrats all! 🙂 If your looking for a build, this should be a decent starting point for you (maybe try it out on test and see how it feels). 95% Slow Resist, 32.5% Def to S/L/E/(almost) N/Ranged should be plenty with the debuffs being pumped out ans everyone flopping around from Umbral Torrent. Finish it off with plenty of rech, and a couple proc'd out holds to shore up the ST damage . You could swap gloom for dark blast, and one of the holds for Life Drain if you feel like you want it.   4. Too late to enter, but sharing anyway for fun. Ice/Ninjitsu! Name: NicetoMeetTsoo The Backstory: The ancestor spirt stood and waited while the sorcerers glanced at each other worryingly. Something was terribly wrong with this Genin. When separated from it's master, most Ninjas will leap back into the shadows and return but this one....he just stayed passively near the warehouses single exit not saying a word. They stared back cautiously. Surely, it had to be a trap. Finally, the lead sorcerer spoke up. "Uh, Do you.....want to come with us?" he said slowly. His eyes shifted slowly towards the sorcerer. "I will follow you, my master". He said in a deep voice. The rest is history. Eventually, he was accepted into the fold, and even learned to manipulate to arcane tattoo ink that gave the Tsoo their power. Until one day, as the group was moving on to a new home base, he disappeared. As they passed the threshold out into the street, from behind they heard him whisper "Into the shadows..." as he vanished in a wisp of smoke. They didn't follow. He had served well, and his life was now his own. The Build: Softcaped to S/l with a Range is 30 (when +5'd). Incarnates are dealers choice, but I like to go with Intuition Radial, Assault Radial Hybrid, Degenerative Core, and swap between Clarion/Ageless depending on what I'm up to. At 50, 4x8 is totally doable (tested on Rikti, Carnies, and Malta). the -tohit in blizzard keeps things from getting too messy while it does it's thing. Aid Self is a nice crutch, but droppable. Focus on the bosses first, hit them with a couple holds to lock them down, than spring attack in and slice away! AoE is very light before blizzard, but (solo) it's up for every group, especially if you swap one of the damage procs in Golden Dragonfly with a FF+rech! AVs though, is where this shines. Pylons go down in 1:25 (no hybrid, lore, or insps), and when you really want to open up the taps, pop some reds to damage cap turn on hybrid, and that things dropping in 45-50 seconds.   5. I'd say now is the perfect time to try out some new MM combos. The reduced end cost, and quick resummons means keeping the pets healed up/alive is a lot less of a concern. Bots/Rad sounds fun. I'm considering a Bots/TA myself.
  6. It's in Devastating blow. This is the build I'm using currently....Some quick napkin math puts the proc chances down to 50% (purple) / 40% (standard) with the slotting I have (instead of 90/90). It just isn't making enough of a difference in actual gameplay with all of the other variables in play. If you have 0 recharge slotted, the purple should still be a 90% chance, and the normal procs would only drop down to about 70%...so you may not notice it much either.

Having played around a little now, here are some early impressions: Epic Snipe changes: I tested on a Rad/Bio scrapper that uses moonbeam in the main attack chain, with 5pc Apocalypse (all except the pure dam) and a Gladiator's Javelin proc. Attack chain is: (DB >Moonbeam > RS > CS ). Honestly, I'm hard pressed to tell anything changed. The procs do seem to fire off less if I'm really looking at the log, but overall single target DPS is in a dead heat with the live server. Pylon times on both Brainstorm and Excelsior were all within the same 1:15 to 1:30 margin. I could definitely see a change like this having a much larger impact on proc'd out epic holds--where a bigger percentage of the damage is coming from procs though. MM cast time/pet recharge: Love it. Makes keeping up with a fast moving/stealth team a lot easier if you can dismiss/resummons more often. It also helps give a bit more staying power in a fight since pets can be summoned so quickly. A welcome buff. Rune of Protection: For context, I tested with my EM/Regen stalker. On live, I alternate RoP and IH seamlessly to keep health up. The build has essentially 0 defense outside MoG, so it relies on resist+regen exclusively (works well for 4x8 anything). RoP caps out S/L/F/C/P/T at 75%, with E/N sitting around 60. BUILD (Mids) The change introduces a 30 second gap in defense every 2.5 minutes, which is annoying--but manageable for a high end IO build. I was still able to do everything I could before, I just had to be more cautious about jumping in when both RoP and IH were on cooldown. Overall, I think RoP was overperforming and the change makes sense. Up to 50% uptime on the only power that can self-grant mezz protect for squishies AND gives sizable boost to all Res types is a little much. The fact that it keeps my Regen alive equally as well as IH (and with the same duration/timer) is a bit ridiculous for a pool power. It's still vastly better than the Epic pool equivalents (Force of Nature and Surge Power which both have a 2 min duration/16 min recharge, PSI hole, No mezz protection, AND a crash). Hopefully, this will open up some room to give those powers (and the armor T9's) a look over, without having to worry too much about everyone chaining perma-T9's.
  8. (Very minor FYI): It appears Peregrine Island "Monster" class NPCs do not appear to be included in the 100% drop rate class after testing. Also another typo (word choice): In the Firebase Zulu "contact" text (First page, before going to individual badge): The first line references "Personnel Logs" that the character is tracking down...In this context, "Personal" Logs would make more sense (a la hunting down Dr. Scientists personal log for March 11th...) Also Firebase Zulu: Badge mission for "X-Ray Spectator". The final bolded part doesn't really flow naturally: "You have curiosity to see what makes the X-Raiders so elite." would read easier as: "You are curious to see what makes the X-Raiders so elite."
  9. I'm really liking the flavour these missions add...I think it's great addition to the game so I definitely want to give a big thanks to @Nayreia for putting in all the work! Bug/Typo: While going in to check a few less-travelled Zones, and I noticed for the Hollows pre-mission text (contact text before going to the specific badge there may be a missing word in one of the sentences: Current: "Shortly after the Hollowing they stopped being printed, so the information within has a lot of archival value as well highlighting local history and points of interest." Instead of: "Shortly after the Hollowing they stopped being printed, so the information within has a lot of archival value as well as highlighting local history and points of interest."
  10. In the mission text for the "Track down the Alba Varden at sea" tip (whitecap), the final line has an extra punctuation mark at the end: "While not the Treasure you were looking for, this is a nice find all the same!."
  11. Tested with Thugs and Beasts. While flying across a zone with group fly ON, often, at least one of the pets will become stuck/clipped into the ground and go crazy (rubberbanding, clipping through geometry, and not able to attack or obey commands). Pet must then be dismissed and resummoned. It seems to trigger most often when they fall too far behind the MM, and resummon themselves closer.
  12. Yep, you're right....the large defense portion is not suppressing in combat. Infiltration also appears to not suppress it's defense bonus. The patch note indicate that it is only supposed to be there out of combat) so I would assume that is a bug as well.

Hey all, I'm working on an Energy/Ice Stalker build, but I'm not super familiar with either set, so I'm sure there's room for improvement...any advice you Stalker Experts could offer would be much appreciated! Money isn't an object, and I'm looking at at end-game build with the goal of finding a well-rounded soloer build that still exemplars well for TFs....this is what I've put together so far with softcapped S/L/E/N, Capped HP with hoarfrost, decent fire/cold resist, and some proc'd out attacks. There's still a gap for Psi, but I'm hoping that between Chilling, Shadow Meld, and Icy Bastion that'll be enough to keep me going. Thanks! I quite like the changes to teleport, but I would like to suggest a couple small changes to make it more of a viable alternative to Flight/Leaping. 1) Add a minor Defense buff to combat teleport - (Matching the bonus from Combat Jumping/Hover). I know, I know, - power creep....but hear me out. Right now, it's a "fun" power to be sure, but I don't see it as a competitive alternative for defense builds. To have tamp down "softcap everything!" maybe we could have Hover, Combat Jumping, and Combat Teleport changed so that instead of granting a defense buff on their own, they apply a separate buff power to the caster (name suggestions: "On the Move", "Float Like a Butterfly") with a 20 second duration that doesn't stack with itself. That way, having any one of the toggles would constantly refresh the duration to keep it up, and jumping around in a fight would have more purpose. But you'd get the same defense benefit with either one or all three Combat Movement powers in your build, so there's less reason to feel like you *have* to get leaper, or flight. 2)Fold Space - Awesome power, I love it! Only change I would suggest (and this also applies to Gravity Control/Wormhole - which has the same Mag) is to bump up the mag slightly so that it can also move +4 bosses. BR/Devices/Mace Blaster (on Brainstorm) Best run: 1:07 Others: 1:15, 1:20, 1:21, 1:30, 1:50, 2:06 T4 Musculature (Core) T4 Degenerative (Core) T4 Assault Hybrid (Not used - Passive boost only) No Lore T4 Barrier (Core) (Used once at the start for the faster times) Getting the fastest times was very dependant on the pets (Spiderlings and Gun Drones) not falling over immediately, so this probably doesn't transfer that well to normal play but it was a fun experiment. the 1:50/2:00 times were where the pets got blasted right away either from the dropship or the pylon. I started the fight with 3 gun drones out (two can be out most of the time, and used burnout for a third), popped barrier, and hover blasted from there. (Disintegrate>Snipe>Lancer>Single Shot...Aim when available). Keeping the Spiderlings out of the line of fire wasn't difficult, but the gun drones like to fly right in and taunt the pylon so barrier was the only thing keeping them in the fight longer than 15 seconds.   17. Hi all, I'm fairly new to the MM world, and trying to come up with a good end-game and exemplar ready Demon/Dark/Soul build. It's been awhile since I've played an MM or Dark Miasma, so any tips or advice would be more than welcome! I tried to get good enough defence to where the tohit debuffs can carry me and the pets through......It also ended up hasten-less, just because I wasn't sure about fitting in enough recharge to make it worth while without compromising anything else.   19. Thanks all! I redid the slotting based on your advice. Frost should have decent range (14ft), and I squeezed in Hasten and more recharge. I kept in Shadow Meld and Soul Storm as semi-mules...I agree that I don't think I'll use them very often, but they do look cool and can hold some nice IOs.   20. Hi all, I've been working on an Ice/Bio build, and was hoping to get some feedback, I was aiming for softcapped S/L/E/N/F/C, with a decent attack chain on a hastenless build. I feel like I'm a little short on recharge from where i want to be but I'm not sure where to squeeze in any more. I went soul for the snipe and shadowmeld (to help if I get tagged with a def debuff, or for jumping into a psi heavy mob. I'm new to both sets, so the slotting is new to me. Any tips would be great!
