  1. It was changed, intention of issue 10 devs is irrelevant to what it is now. I've said my piece and I'm tired of arguing this.
  2. I'm not saying don't fix it, I'm asking that it be fixed in a way that doesn't cut it back off for the 35-45 range. I would think the best solution would be to make it 35+ but the star holder must be 45+. There are already several things in the game where different conditions apply for star and joining. That wouldn't completely solve the problem as well as making hami scale completely would, as there might be occasional cases where the star disconnects and no one else is 50, but it'd be better and wouldn't be cutting off a leg to save a toe.
  3. Yes, there are plenty of TFs in that range. Of those most are terrible (shards, sutter), lousy exp (numina, treespec), tough to fill regularly (a.sewer, mistral, freakspec) or all of the above. LG is good, doesn't take long, and is generally pretty easy to get folks to agree to. In that range I generally end up running ITF, Morty, LG, Manti (which I'm already tired of from the 30-35 days), and then add market crash to the mix at 40. But my personal preferences aside, I don't see any reason that taking it back to 35 is the only way to fix this. There have been several solutions suggested up thread. It seems like the main reason is "it was 45 on live." Well that's just another in the long list of things that sucked on live compared to HC. And as long as we're doing the slippery slope fallacy with level 2 incarnate trials why don't we just roll back the recipe bucketing because a newb might pay 20 million for a miracle unique - it wasn't that way on live after all 🤪
  4. i'm well aware of what's in the range (i hate 6 of the ones you mentioned btw and the red stuff in that range is tough to fill). the point is LG is a good one in that range now that won't be soon. Idk why you're so opposed to a solution that'd keep more people happy as opposed to just locking it down.
  5. Please rethink this part. I run LG a ton from 35-45 and it's a good alternative to yet another ITF. At 45 there's plenty added to the mix. Taking LG out makes 35-45 a worse slog for we TF types than 30-35 already was. There has to be a better way of dealing with the problem of people occasionally starting it with a lowbie star holder.
  6. Some of us only like to TF, not farm or run PI radios or solo arc stuff. Lady grey was an option other than ITF that gave good exp and that you could actually fill quickly. And who's to say we're all coasting just because we're lowbies? I've been on several with lowbies where I was the one letting the hostages loose and tp'ing folks around. This is taking away an option. It's fine that you don't play that way and so don't care, but I do, and I do.
  7. We've done just fine with it 35+ for 2 years. I'd be happy to run LRSF/Kahn etc on a 35, sure, but I know what kind of responses that'd get in the suggestions forum. ITF over and over from 35-45 gets boring as hell. LG relieved that some.
  8. It kills me that I'm losing something fun to do from 35-45 just because some folks are worried that someone might fail a tf. Especially when half the threads on the forums are about how easy the game is and there are plenty wanting more tf content too. This is a terrible 'resolution'.
  9. Despite how it's spelled it's actually pronounced "Throatwarbler Mangrove".
  10. Badging is the only reason to have it at all. You can buy a portable workbench for 10 million if you decide later you want a different dedicated crafter.
  11. Jupiter's Legacy was pretty good but is in the unfortunate position of being about as good as invincible but coming right on its heels. Also it was probably hurt by how terrible its first episode was. Neither of them is as good as the Boys. JL does seem to be the most like CoH though as there's definitely a States/Recluse thing going with two of them and the power source is about as Well of Furies-esque as you can get...
  12. I was totally non-smirking serious in calling it "formal" and stand by my post authorial intent be damned!
  13. On my defender I skipped ice arrow, but I never take a hold without a damage component (I'm spoiled by 2 purple damage procs). Now that flash arrow isn't useless I didn't even consider ice. Also skipped poison gas. I don't think I'd miss acid arrow as I only ever use it for AV fights. There's not a bad power in the set anymore so it's just a matter of how much you want to use your other power set.
  14. I've decided a 35 team would be better off than a 45. You're 35, you go in, team wipe, 'woh what happened?', 'oh wow, it's 50, guess we can't finish this, sorry'. You're 45 and you probably have several team wipes and your HPT debt badges before everyone gives up.
  15. Funny that HC's been running for 2+ years yet this is just a problem now? If it's easy to change it and have Hami scale, fine. Otherwise, maybe a pop-up warning if a non-50 has the star. Or if neither, that's fine too. Taking a perfectly good tf out of the longest level slog in the game just because we're afraid a team will fail it is ridiculous. And frankly the hami fight being theoretically doable for a team of neophytes at 45 isn't really going to change their practical ability to finish it, especially since it's dependent on them having known before starting to bring enough mez to the fight.
  16. It's not a mistake to lower the requirements, 35's run it just fine all the time. Would be nice if it auto raised level or gave a pop-up when trying to start it with a lowbie star-holder though.
  17. There was a concerted effort to drive up yellow salvage by persons unknown last year that lasted a couple of weeks. I'm not sure if they gave up or if our efforts buying them and relisting at one were successful. If it's for a limited time this is happening I'd guess it's either new to HC players using a live server method to try and get startup cash or someone trying to get AH badges.
  18. Well of course they don't need to. I just said it'd be nice as a QOL perk and/or inf sink.
  19. I'd definitely like them to stack, but the 1.5 hours for some junky salvage seems generous enough. I'm surprised more folks don't use them as it is. I pretty much run recovery/attack rate/end drain resist all the time on everything. Those salvage stay in a rack and i'll pick up slow resist if i have the salvage on me too. I can't imagine folks thinking they were necessities but they're nice to have. I'd just like to be able to pop out a table in the middle of a mish since i'm not going to base port, refill, come back, run back through the mission on a tf (though with certain endhog lowbies i might be more useful overall if i did). I'd probably pop it out and hand out salvage to folks who wanted while waiting for tfs to fill too.
  20. Was thinking today just as I started wheezing mid-mish because my recovery buff from sg base ran out that it'd be nice if the base buffs could be added to the portable workbench or even if there were another influence sink portable version of the base table. Not sure if possible but I'd buy it on every character.
  21. I thought the second ep was a huge fall-off from the first, but then I think kids ruin everything.
  22. Ms. L drops without the rifle fine given enough debuffs and damage. I've been on many a team where the person who went for the glowie also had the rifle and she was dead before they got over there with it. Maybe the lesson should be turn it down to +0 on that particular mission when running small/pug?
  23. We run it with sub-50s no problem all the time, but I wouldn't want to run it with all sub-50s. I think being IO'd might be even a bigger factor than level but if you throw some lore pets and maybe a barrier into the mix it becomes much easier even for the lowbies on the team.
  24. One a week. First was good but rather long for animated, not sure how long future eps will be.
