  1. I'm not sure I buy the idea of changed farming habits as an explanation as many (i wanna say most but don't want to risk derailing another thread on this topic) of the heavy farmers either mass vendor or delete outright c/u salvage.

I have a DM/Elec that i use as my tanky broot. it's still buzzsaw-ish but he basically uses the tier 1/2 with gloom and midnight grasp. the latter have 5x purple set with an extra proc thrown in. does ok damage but nothing like a build with a couple perfect proc options. makes up for it by being nigh unkillable and everything at least being quick hits.
  3. weird, mids says so but i slot the attuned at 17 every toon. In game the attuned says minimum 17. Here's where it gets more weird - the end mod piece says minimum 7 in game. I've not tried slotting it at 7 as I pl my new toons to 17 (i run of level 49 meteor map) so idk if it's a typo or if it can actually be slotted then. in any event i take back my joking accusation of slackery and will assume people were going by mids 😄 r/e generator's question theft of essence still works in Dark regen but it's not the full refill it usually was under the old proc system. usually it'll at least pay back the cost of the power but not always. I had it in leveling but took it out once i had endurance dealt with through other means.

  5. This after i dumped a couple hundred rares over the weekend for 11 inf from my original farmer who got replaced but still had stacks in his market slots for purp crafting. I give up trying to move prices downward. Was always a spit into the wind proposition but fun to pretend now and again.

I'd like to see paralytic changed to something like ummm, concoction - an uninterruptible but long activation power that could have varying effects based on the strength of the target. the idea would be the poisoner is whipping up something specific to its target. like big damage to their weakest resist type or a big debuff of their best resist type or something of that nature. probably pie in the sky as even as a non-coder I'm guessing it'd be a bastard to work out. could be a good place to help poison's -regen weakness some too. and it could keep the hold so people who're using the original power wouldn't have to change slotting. Probably couldn't happen but i think it'd be a cool power. Easier would just be to add some -regen to paralytic. or up the % in envenom to something 3 digit at least.
  9. did another round of buy everything below the seeded threshold and relist for 11 today. a few days ago there were a little over 300, today 1100. so...progress.
  10. a whole lot of my toons are overpowered, even quite a few of the ones i don't care for. if a team looks weak i'll pull out the poison, unless it's melee heavy in which case kin.
  11. My poison/dp fendur is probably my strongest character and is one of my 2 or 3 favorites. I do think it's probably got some issues as a secondary with lower values but it should still be middling. As to the mez issue - ranged defense goes a long way there combined with the -to hit melee aura. I know no one wants to hear it but defensive amplifier will solve most of your mez issues. If not that, clarion. Now I could see poison being complete junk on SOs, but then so is most everything else. I certainly wouldn't complain if VG got some mez protection and a compelling reason to give paralytic a look would be welcome. Just so long as there weren't nerfs to other parts to balance changes. But i do think if we're talking about support sets being buffed it really ought to begin with TA.

  15. It wouldn't really except for a few % for your teammates. SRs with all their auto/toggle defense powers get capped defense debuff resists. I guess if you managed to build an SR which is just right at the softcap it'd help but in that case weave would be a better option since you probably wanted tough anyway, and weave gives higher values.
  16. It's up to 8 hours. Pretty sure it says that in the power description. I always just buy 8 and buy my amplifiers for 8 at the same time. That way if i'm on a squishy i have a nice mez alarm to remind me when they've run out. I've also taken to keeping the base buffs for recharge, recovery and end drain resistance running all the time. Those are only 1.5 hours so they've made me more used to paying attention to my power bar for disappearances. Just know that no matter what they're gonna run out right at the beginning of a really good exp mission. For me it's usually the last mish of itf.
  17. Is there a way to add temp powers that are already in the database to the temp powers window where they can be toggled on for builds? fiddled around for almost an hour trying to figure out how.
  18. I don't think most of us have a problem with flipping or would have a problem with this if it were a viable way to make good money. It's the piddling amounts of profit for the time/effort involved that makes it seem like it must be trolling. I could easily believe someone coming from another mmo would try this but for it to go on for more than a few days makes it seem like griefing. now granted if they have it botted somehow (which i'm pretty sure is against the ToS) it could be free profit without the effort, but the aforementioned afk farming would be a much easier way to get profits without effort.
  19. I can't imagine ever having enough slots to 6-slot maneuvers. And if i had enough spare slots I'm sure I could find a better use for them elsewhere. My poison has lotg 7.5/Shield wall unique/shield wall Defense (50+5)/reactive defenses unique. that's in the yellow for defense on mids with my agility core. if i had another slot it'd be the d/e shield wall. if i only had 3 slots and the uniques were placed elsewhere i'd just d,d/e,7.5 lotg which is yellow without agility and red with. naturally ymmv.
  20. yes, but only long enough for me to relist them at 11. i then bought a few hundred of the seeded and also sold them for 11. i didn't leave any bids up.
  21. I end up with maneuvers and tactics on most of my toons nowadays and try to get venge too. Defenders i'd always take those three and assault too if possible due to the higher modifiers. Never tried victory rush.
  22. ok as an experiment i thought i'd buy all the yellow listed below the seeded threshold of 100k and relist for 11. thought it'd take forever and i'd give up. took 5 minutes. were only a few hundred listed and all of them sold for 10k+. so evidently if i really wanted to get them lower i'd have to start buying the seeded ones and relisting for pennies. i don't have the patience to buy/relist 3600 of the things to fill the existing bids. i'd be glad to if we could do 100 at a time but at 10 it's just too much effort. got them down to where mine sold for 12k/each. which i'm pretending didn't all go to the flipper/s 😄
  23. definitely anecdotal. mine seemed perfectly normal past that patch, and i was afk farming pretty heavily until a few days ago when i finished my last all tier 4 alt.
  24. I've not built a regen since live so not sure overall, but I worry that you don't have MoG and Shadow Meld. With enough recharge you can have one of those up every mob, which is more effective than your current defenses which can be debuffed to nothing in one shot. you're overslotted for recovery with P.P. so switching to soul mastery would be easy enough. plus it'd let you pick up moonbeam.
