  1. I feel like you're missing out on most of the fun and a huge amount of the damage of a fire/fire if you only stay at range. Mine always goes into melee and half the time takes the alpha - cauterizing aura and hot feet are just that good, plus i have bonfire if I need it. OP have you considered a sentinel? Seems like the better choice if you just want to stay at range and blast away with fire. That way anything that gets into melee you can just shrug off anyway. Or a corr to add some debuffs or buffs to the damage pile?
  2. You can do 3 for 8 hours at a time with p2w defensive amplifier for 20 million spacebucks and help with 4 for 1.5 hours at a time with base buffs for common salvage. Not the full solution you want but definitely helps.
  3. they're under temp powers, buffs. they're 20 million each for 8 hours at level 50 but well worth it. and really if you can't generate 60 mil in 8 hours on a 50 through some combo of drops and merits you're doing way too much not playing 😄
  4. I don't think it's a bug as Paragonwiki has it not accepting those sets either. Given that it takes both accuracy and to-hit debuff IOs and it takes accurate defense debuff sets it seems like an oversight by the original live powers folks. But definitely should be allowed if it's feasible to re-tag it.
  5. Not sure if already reported but doesn't come up in a search of thread. Weaken resolve from the force of will pool is taking accurate to-hit debuff sets in Mids but doesn't in game. Not sure why it wouldn't in game since it takes both accuracy and to-hit debuff IOs but paragonwiki has it not taking those sets too.
  6. Didn't see a tree 1 time so 6:51, handicapped by my lowbie pb 😄
  7. should be trivial to softcap to all 3. mine on live was softcapped well before pvp ios and incarnates came around. i'm guessing softcap and 20 second or so shield charge should be doable on HC depending on budget.
  8. I'd imagine more people would take voltaic sentinel if it weren't so annoying to resummon every minute. Probably make the whole set more popular too. Don't think it'd work on ws fluffs though since you can already have multiples of those out. At some point there'd be enough of them that everything would die too fast to kill any of them, producing more corpses to be extracted til you'd eventually have a tribble situation. At that point instanced maps would be the only thing preventing city of fluff balls.
  9. You're probably thinking of the ranged defense in 6 piece red fortune. But really most folks don't 6 piece defense sets (possible exception of reactive defenses for the 8.75 recharge but you can only do that once due to the unique). Slots are at a premium and ED kicks in for defense usually by the 4th piece. Much better to get defense bonuses from damage sets. As to blaster's wrath etc. - those are archetype origin sets obtained from hero/villain or rogue/vig super packs (10 mil per pack), on the AH for usually 7-10 million depending on volume and desirablility, or for 100 merits (which is a bad use of merits). To make them superior you have to use a catalyst at level 50.
  10. Here's mine. Can't remember if it's ever died. Never uses combustion except exemped (too slow) and I always run the p2w amplifiers so the defense/resists are actually 5/7.5 higher and to-hit is at full snipe damage level. 11. Also worth noting that the stalker inherent gives critical buffs depending on team size. So they're naturally not going to perform as well solo as they would on a team. It's nuts how often you crit on a full team with the chance to hide proc in AS.
  12. nearly as impressive as figuring out the problem with an AT at level 12 😛 ok i'll turn snark back off now
  13. I would never say you occasionally troll helpchan.
  14. Oh it works sometimes but I found leveling that i'd dump toggles using it just as often as it'd help so I just started carrying blues until I had enough slots to get recovery fixed. My dark armor brute at 50 goes through the last mish of market crash hunting the super stunners so they don't mess up the rest of the team. His end barely moves. Just have to hang in there. It'd be a rough ride with stj which is also end heavy but would be fine in final build.
  15. It used to be a near complete refill but it's garbage since the proc change. If you're lucky it'll pay back the endurance the heal used.
  16. My build's broken (mids update put unreplaceable raptor pack in TA's tier 2 and since the build's finished there's no point redoing it just to fix that) but I'd encourage you to try flame mastery though. The joy of bonfire and rain of arrows from out of line of sight is worth giving a shot at least on test.
  17. This is key, Snarky. Since you said you grind for your inf I'm guessing most of the orange recipes you're getting are level 50 and thus cost about a million for salvage/crafting. You're already at a loss on probably 85-90% of them just from that. The only oranges I craft at level 50 are resist, defense and PVP . PVP are a few converters from something 9+ million (entire panacea, some glad armor and most of shield wall will sell well. You don't necessarily need to gamble for the uniques). Most of the aegis and unbreakable pieces will sell for 3 million and defense ones are only a few converters away from a 5-7 million LotG piece. If you get an actual LotG recipe check the recipe prices. Depending on the day you can often get more for the recipe than the crafted + crafting costs. For a while there recipes were more than crafted. Should also check the recipe price for unique IO drops like numina regen/rec or performance +end. If the orange recipe is obliteration, numina, preventive medicine or positron's blast it's sometimes worth listing for a bit. Otherwise vendor them or dump them on the ah for pennies if you're feeling generous and have the slots.
  18. The first series isn't bad as it's more in line with the gameplay. The Top Cow ones with the Phalanx aren't very good. I'd echo Fista that the two novels are much better for the lore characters.
  19. miracle and numina are always on only in an auto power. preventative is always on no matter where you stick it, even in an unused rez or something.
  20. Those are account locked, so if that's the main thing you want from the packs you should buy packs on your farm account.
  21. I love Venomous Gas on my defender, so much so that i barely use the main 3 debuffs except on hard targets. I'm willing to concede that it might not be great if you're just using SOs but on a kitted out IO build it's fantastic. As to the OP, sure why not. I don't take them anyway but it'd make the set more attractive for folks who want the heal stuff.
  22. Hai Emmy 😄 Wasn't joking, i'll absolutely walk through the whole process.
  23. How about this. OP send me a pm and we'll set up a time. I'll transfer a character to whatever server you want and we'll go to the market. I'll sit there on a team with you and you can look for whatever you're wanting on the AH. When you come across something you can't find you tell me and I'll get it for you and tell you exactly what i did to get it. We can repeat this process until you're satisfied you can get the stuff on your own.
  24. Yep, same badge different alignment. In fact as soon as you switch the contact for invader should pop up as a new contact.
