  1. OF is great in all T1 MM pets. Every single attack used has a decent chance to KD their targets. All T1 pets are pretty squishy, giving them a chance to KD makes them more survivable. Slot the Sudden Acceleration KB to KD IO in Bonfire instead.
  2. 3 Eradication for the set bonus, 1 acc/dam HO and 2 more damage procs.
  3. StJ/SR Stalker is great vs GMs. The only ones I wasn't able to defeat are Jack-in-Irons and Lusca due to their high smashing resistance. Also the Ghost of Scrapyard because he kept running. I think i could have done it but would have taken hours. Near the end of live, bumped into 3 Paladins having a tea party and took them all down. https://youtu.be/9DOSrOTdwkw
  4. A few extra slots would be great. It would help players round out their builds a bit. I remember back during live, pre-i19, probably 85% of player builds needed the Fitness Pool to function. Three power picks. Box/Kick, Health and Stamina. Then when the Fitness Pool became inherent, that effectively gave 85% of the builds 3 additional power picks with 0 additional slots to fill them. I personally think 8 more slots is a lot but I really don't know what a good amount would be. I'd be ecstatic with one.
  5. Only on the Protector Bots when they heal.
  6. Incarnates. Getting an Alpha, Destiny and Lore power to tier 3 adds +1 each.
  7. Time has always been a good secondary for Ninja. With the last patch, they're even better. Ninja's have higher defense now so less effort is needed to get them softcap. Genin have the lowest def of the 3 tiers, around 17% def to M/R/A with Train Ninja (Slotted) + 10% Edict/CtA IOs + 4% Maneuvers (Slotted) + 15% Farsight (Slotted) + 5% Power Boost. Genin will be at around +51%, Jounin at 56% and Oni at 61% to M/R/A. I did some testing with Ninja heals. They can trigger heal IO uniques when they're slotted in their second upgrade, Kuji-In Zen. Regenerative Tissue, Miracle, Numina's and Panacea. @Hedgefund2 mentioned in an old post that Kismet +6% acc unique buffs pets when equipped in Train Ninja. That's an awesome discovery, a single IO improving 6 pet's hit chance. I'm not a fan of the new Smoke Flash. I feel like the only real advantage it has over the old version is the lower end cost. With IOs and set bonuses slotted, this is how the old/new SF would compare: SM Old New Target 1 pet 6 pets Rech 6s 25s End 17 8 Dura 10s 1 att Effect high crit 100% crit Before we could cycle it among pets. Cast it 4 times on the old version VS once on the new. It would equate to 40 seconds with a high crit chance VS 6 guaranteed crits. But with the latest patch, there's a good chance 1 or 2 of the pets would have crit without Smoke Flash. Tossed this build together, it's probably what my initial Nin/Time build would look like if I made one. Trial and error approach, make changes if certain aspects does not work out. Since pets are at softcap, opted to drop Call to Arms and Superior Command of the MM uniques. Tactics was also skipped since Farsight is a good replacement and Kismet slotted in upgrade. The MM will be softcap to S/L/E with PB+FS active. Hasten and Chrono Shift are perma when both are active. It's built with Musculature Radial Alpha in mind. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1747;759;1518;HEX;| |78DA75944B4F135114C7FFD399026DC102A552A02D2FB13CA45013B74641F0D51A0| |C4FDD90060618D3572824FA3574E14A13BF818A02BA73E14E761AF11D374654D004| |5D9A7A66CE5CB919C24D26F39BF3BAFF73EE6D53D7CF546EBC489E82523D9849178| |BD3A97471495FCC1AB959772A3D6FCCA8A0554E4F68CF333DBA9CCDE673F14B46EE| |5ABAD82A390696E7E6E2634656A73A39A3B09C492F19F91CBC23F97C263E5AD0F55| |9BF85493D3DAB2F16178C4295F53D6CCC2F2C19B9791F7F65CCCFF050C198894BC5| |53E919DDD67723448A3AE979E036F529B057893E77E99DF0C0853F266804139A051| |A3EAB360CBA2C28C315766D06F795F9AADA215B0C15F826E03B83173F046C333CA4| |3CE57F15945C0AEEB08843B82BE01EC31BDA5295625515ABACAA1AEB029E30D4E22| |9C30A6DE09693DCA856EC903A863A0405FCA5908886363ABE7229898EB38767F496| |3478248FE641983B398C8880284308CD025A181E93189F220DCD2766DF88719E6B2| |3CA544B43181BDC411853EC8AE21959021A6A485E952CA28A7BF25088DD5354F4D4| |825DD5868B0CEFA805BF9CEDC790CB0E196668C55901E7049C6758A5166AE4D1D49| |0CFF2BCA7BA0179D201BC7459ADB4E39580D7023619D6A85C504A720731C6DD1EC1| |73D5862FE489790826D97514BF5D366C992E0D1F68EF7AF91AD5E304BD3595426C8| |8F1443C58A72D1BA49BAB36E0A4628989619C8716C30443175A59C447DAA049D6D9| |240EA30B2E3EB02EA80CDDE6760C6E01F6A17EA2321179F611717D8EF1F5F110440| |5D8D7A7575C9F5A3AF76679F6CD62F6F7A9A736C9A3B4899F51AFF8F52894DC0129| |B903255A50C9DE2977D6694D3262A68618FA1055AC31F7599B58D0CE90C071D6B64| |EAF1E59418FB893091E7C05762A81B8AC202EE43F22F9FD72723F56D893C01A4358| |83BC4AE663CA4F1E604F39ECA5114DFABB3203150EDCF6CAFF637B057EEEB75FE09| |E770EC8F8E5B0D3FDB8C9F7B412B704DC6638DDED903740069F6C18244350362403| |942995E775D9EBB04E3A0D579D8629A7E11F3CE8EBDA| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  8. This is how the upgrades will be slotted after a respec. I know it's a lot, dedicating so many slots for a minimal amount of pet survivability. But I really do try to make the pets the stars of the build. To the point some of the IOs will be boosted to +5! Funny thing is the changes made to the build is actually an overall improvement. Better rec/regen, slightly higher def, Lich with more mez/debuffs. The only thing I really lost out on was 6.25% recharge but Hasten is still perma. Soul Extraction has a half second longer down time. Tar Patch is improved since I got an extra slot in it. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;621;291;582;HEX;| |78DAF3AD70E1397BC6C7818151C03927B1B838DE37B1B824B52837332F85D537313| |D3399990108D881580621131F5C9A9B9B9FA7E7979A5C949F9B98975C298D24E954| |9A96A6E79258941DEF9B99589C9BC82018909F9FA3E7995796599C9994999359522| |9021671AD28482DCACC4DCD2B492CC9CCCFE3050BBA65A6679464E6A57343783920| |AEB06B4166B29E734662517A2AD48195124027C903F17F2C60152B03032B23030CF| |C6765653004FAC39093818D411C282ECB0264C842181C0CA640862188A10F51C3C5| |60C40C16F94F0A580FB45312C94E1649063B880D520C0A1083A518142106CB30843| |282456418C21849B74A86850119FC878602830F0E715F34F1FF0140014664858C10| |856FB9189025E006BCC721FE0E87F8071CE200F8F8E112| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  9. Ah, my mistake. The status resist portion of Impervious Skin does NOT work on pets. The resistance shown in the above photo are the pet's inherent reistances. It's gained from their first upgrade. Aegis +status res seems to work though, the +psionic res portion does not.
  10. @C U R S E mentioned in another thread that Impervious Skin +regen/status res works on Necro pets when slotted in Enchant Undead. Tested and it does! I had to try it on Mercs and Bots and it's active on them too. Noticed that the +status resist Imp Skin provides is different for each primary. Not sure why that is. Seems like it's most beneficial for Necro as they have a higher HP pool thanks to Dark Empowerment. This effectively makes their regen slightly higher. Necro also get the most types of status resistances among the 3 primaries. Slotting Imp Skin is nothing gamechanging but if you have a spare slot, it's a definite nice-to-have.
  11. It sounds super fun but would be hard to run on this build. Would definitely need Ageless Destiny. I mean Burnout cost 49 end, Noxious cost 23 (x2), Smoke Flash 15 (x2), ESD 20 and Barrier 20. That's 165 end in 15 seconds. It would be hard to recover from that. As for pet slotting, Explosive Strike isn't really worth slotting. Jounins have 2 attacks that can activate it. Oni... I don't believe he has any powers that can KB? This is probably how I would slot them. Slotted with Musculature Alpha in mind. | Copy & Paste this data into Mids Reborn : Hero Designer to view the build | |-------------------------------------------------------------------| |MxDz;1572;700;1400;HEX;| |78DA75944B4F13611486DFE94CC552EE1528D0164A0BE59686E26DA146A5E2055B4| |382A2AE4803031DA51DD242227F4317FE0DEFBA35C68589ECD4B8D544D00562826E| |DCD4C39CF9E4D0844926DFD37379CFF94E4F9BBD77A16EFD7DE61CB4A6F452AE5C9| |ECDE6CA2B66A96015E7BDD9DCA235A7839E1A7A837B9ED9E9D542C12E26AF59C53B| |B9729B708CAF2E2C24A76CAB6C17513B65DB4BC9E965D39CAF63B44B736669CDEF7| |CB8B8642DE6571A1DCE98B979B354CE5BCB8189656B2E99CEE74A8BA6DBCA5A908A| |C7E97DEC857C2AF47187CE940F1EFCD9058360C670C0C017DD85B4C78143B8CDAEB| |CB15F86DCAFE90D18388C4ED6EB6730F0846A68DA5E2CF1693A0D9DE45C88D16C74| |11021D5D5CFA411FE0951E2FA2ACFF94646BA4A706AD9A93F38C3C3E79471F8E73F| |FB538A6E028431D4E2838C9D0804D2EFD9C64FCA280D7AF46D5801B3C86267CA5A4| |F02EFCE6EC16DC325C58674B2FDDAD5E5EBF1EC36A422E5894D2281AD61BF19D758| |F6093A10DDF1822D860F0B401CD52B759C9C5153CA21B04644880070ED275C147DD| |B58A104FAB9A621057790E29EC30BC20B97629D7AE0A2514BCA4900E39B30E5CE77| |974E2ADEEC20679123EF4E026BB7AF063D7622086771CF38A64BA848CD1856EF684| |10618820ACBBD92186287A186C920DCB3EC3AABDA882228574CB15E9C629FEBA62F| |8CBF38DA1A03910C71576C571862181B35CE95213D02B2AE9BDF8C4D9217C545FDC| |0786417C6668A191F7C9C5ED532B7D99E406A467C09937E514A8DF61596858A9455| |4A111557A4455BC4B49492997C418F73D498546C5F58D5154E8C1181F837CA4F61D| |D9AA9F7C255465708C149839C03E45764DDA35B66FD5423AFEC7FF3CC0BE5D65A72| |B45D5066C31F4635273362A8119DEE65F554934A1871E77CFEF330C619BF7F1CD10| |FD1BC99B9E1FAABAFA3819FCD2902643873464022425EA55FE01C306DB5D| |-------------------------------------------------------------------|
  12. Numina's, Miracle and Regenerative Tissue are active on pets when slotted in Dark Empowerment. Impervious Skin? Whaaaat?! No way... Spent all this time trying to improve pets but overlooked Imp Skin... Geez, if this works, I'll be upset... Oh geez, for goodness sakes! It does! It makes the most impact, highest dps increase, on tier 1 Zombies. But arguably, Zombies are quickest to fall. If they're dying often, Grave Knights would be a decent alternative.
  13. I usually just build for damage on the Lich, more because I want certain set bonuses, but try a mix of both control and damage. Sacrifice endurance slotting for it: Soulbound +dam acc/-tohit hamio acc/mez hamio dam/mez hamio Cloud Senses proc Pet unique Intuition Radial Alpha I know it looks funky without endurance but slot 2 heal/end +3 hamios in Dark Empowerment. It's enough to keep Lich and Grave Knights above 80% blue bar after attacking for 10 minutes straight. Zombies need another +33% end slotted for them to last. I made a video, it shows their slotting a few times throughout. I make adjustments on the fly to get Zombies functional, like 15 minutes in. It's done on Beta. I have Support Hybrid slotted so I'm not sure if the passive end discount works on pets too.
  14. Most players aim for +45% defense (Aka softcap defense) to type or positional def. When fighting an even level enemy, they have a base chance of 50% to hit/miss you. Adding +45% def bumps that number up to 95%, meaning they will hit you only 5% of the time. In most cases, there's not much use building for more defense than +45%, as everything in game has a minimum 5% chance to hit when attacking. So you could have +45% def, +100% def or +500% def and enemies will still hit you 5% of the time. This does not include things like -def debuffs or enemy +tohit buffs. Late game, Incarnate Trials, enemies have a +13.5% tohit buff. So some players build for +58.5% def (45% + 13.5%). So your current build, melee is at softcap. Ranged and AoE is about 3.2% below. Some players like to build a bit higher than +45% to give them a buffer from -def debuffs. I recommend around +47% just so one small purple +12.5% def inspiration will get you above incarnate softcap. It's all pretty confusing. Anyone could explain it better than I did. Or Google, "City of Heroes softcap defense," and there will probably be a ton of guides/resources to help make sense of it.
  15. Looks like your build has all the powers active. Most people check stats with only toggles and powers that are perma (Or close to perma) active. For example, Kuji-In Sha on your build lasts for 3 minutes but, has around a 7 minute recharge. So it's up time is about 40%. The 93-102% defense numbers will only be that high 2/5ths of the time. In Tactics there are 2 circles to activate. One displays the Tactic's +tohit buff; second displays the Gaussian's BU buff. So turn Tactics on, BU proc off, since you won't receive the BU buff all the time. Also turned off Victory Rush and Hail of Bullets. Apparently HoB provides a 5 second def buff when used. Procs are pretty awesome but the best way to build accuracy is from set bonuses. Can include Incarnates that improve acc.
  16. I like the stats you got for your build but some of the slotting just seems off. For example: Steadfast and Gladiator's Armor IO sets are split between Tough and Bo Ryaku. 4 slotting GA into Bo Ryaku; 2 slotting Steadfast into Tough, would provide a small recovery and T/P +res buffs. Standard IOs in Stamina, Kuji-In Sha and Seishinteki Kyoyo. Slotting them with IOs with set bonuses would provide better overall stats. The dam/range hamio in Dual Wield is odd. All your DP attacks have a range of 66' except Dual Wield, which is 78' due to the hamio. Tactics feels overslotted. Slots could be better used elsewhere. Like adding a Shield Wall, Reactive Defense and Numina's uniques. Also a Kismet if you want to make up the lost +tohit. There are probably better IO sets than Serendipity. The build doesn't have the ATO2 set (Though I don't know if it's needed). Some of the attacks have 0 accuracy. There's probably some other stuff but I'm falling asleep.
  17. Short test Power Transfer/Panacea proc test. The build has 3 PT and 1 Pan. Created a "Heals Received" tab and the first minute, timestamp 15:38, received 10 PT and 4 Pan procs. 15:39 had 13 PT and 3 Pan 15:40 had 7 PT and 3 Pan 15:41 had 13 PT and 3 Pan PT heals for 60.24, and Pan heals for 64.58. Adding the heals per minute numbers together and divided by 60 seconds: 15:38 - 860.7 = 14.3 hp/s 15:39 - 916.6 = 15.3 hp/s 15:40 - 615.4 = 10.3 hp/s 15:41 - 976.8 = 16.3 hp/s These are heals on top of regular regeneration or heals received from outside sources. I did a longer 30 minute test when PT was changed and I remember it averaging out to 14.5 hp/s.
  18. At a glance, it's missing a Steadfast +3% def. Deflection and True Grit provide a considerable amount of +dam res to all types (Except psychic). I think it's worth devoting some slots to it. Too many attacks are slotted. Not sure what the best EM attack chain is but I would try to remove all the slots from Barrage. Maybe if Steadfast is added, Touch of Death can be removed from Total Focus and the build will still be at softcap melee def, Toss the SAM set in there. Recommend slotting Power Transfer procs in Stamina and Superior Conditioning in addition to Physical Perfection. I did some testing awhile back and 3 PT procs + Panacea averaged out to be about 15 hp/s. Which is useful since there's no heal. Also if incarnates is a possibility, maybe build with them in mind. They could change slotting considerably. Example, if you decided to take Agility Radial Alpha to help get Hasten perma, it also provides +def, which could free up set bonus slotting. All in all, great build.
  19. Yes, pretty sure that change happened during live. Maybe around i22 or something. Alot of the single target buffs became TAoE like MM pet buffs and FF/Cold/Thermal shields.
  20. Pet survivability is good but MM is on the low side. I would either: A. Drop Bonfire for Scorpion Shield. B. Drop Bonfire for Charged Armor. Also pick up Tough, maybe Weave. Just to get higher defense to S/L/E or capped res to S/L and improvement to E. But adding the extra toggles will be taxing on your recovery. Will probably need to swap the Dark Empowerment slotting to your Health. Imo, most useful powers in your build are Soul Extraction, Melt Armor and Bonfire (If not switched out). I would want them available for use as often as possible. At least once per enemy group. More recharge would be ideal. The power cooldowns doesn't look bad on Mids' but that's with Hasten active. Mids' shows Hasten's CD as 40 seconds, but that actually equates to around 60 seconds... As the 40s CD will have -70% less recharge. I hope that makes sense. So a 2 minute uptime; 1 minute downtime. The build will function as expected for 66% of the time but less efficient 33% of the time. If you're diligent on cycling Forge on the main pets, I would slot Tactics for less. The Gaussian's set bonuses is great for positional defense but not so much for type defense. If going with Scorpion Shield, stacking type defense is ideal. The build needs KB protection. But it all really depends on your playstyle and what you plan to do with this MM. Duo, full team, incarnate leagues, solo, solo hard content. I really do not build well. Min/max is my goto but overall survivability is not my forte. MM and pets have good resists to several damage types. Can stay in BG mode forever as Soul Extraction/Spectral Minions being attacked also triggers the main pets to attack as well. MM has a decent PBAoE heal. The only thing needed is Provoke.
  21. I was hoping to set both lines up on a second key. But haven't really looked into yet. It's only been a year or two. Haha!
  22. Used for several heroes, "Crap, it's Statesman! Look busy!" I haven't figured out how to set up this next battle cry yet: MM, "I don't get paid enough for this." Pets, "You get paid?!"
  23. The person with the run speed TO in Swift is gonna win.
  24. Make both pet based, duo MMs. I've always had the most fun playing on full MM teams. Though learning to play an one can be daunting for a new player. There are a lot of good duo MM combinations that will compliment each other to help fill holes a single MM may have.
  25. Unfortunately Triage and Mortar doesn't TTP. They just stay in the same spot they were dropped. Left behind. I imagine Poison and Trip would be the same. FFG and Seeker will teleport though. I guess anything planted on the ground stays there.
