  1. Oh and one other suggestion which isn't powerset specific but which is Archetype Unique. Mastermind ATOs. Right now, they can only be slotted into 3 or 4 power (Gang War and Hell on Earth are the 4th powers in this case) which is over the top restricting for any Mastermind primary aside from Demons and Thugs. I would recommend that as a broadly based Archetype remedy to this disparity of (slotting) outcomes that unique to the Mastermind Archetype ... ALL Mastermind personal attacks in their primaries be edited to permit slotting of Pet sets and Recharge intensive Pet sets and also Mastermind ATOs into the 3 personal attack powers in their primaries. This would not only incentivize actually taking those personal attacks (as mules if nothing else) while at the same time "leveling the slotting playing field" between Demons/Thugs and all the other Mastermind primaries in terms of having enough slots to round out the need for a multitude of procs that currently can only be fit into pet summoning powers at the expense of Accuracy, Damage, and Endurance Reduction (all of which are kind of needed). So that's more of a collective change proposal, rather than something unique and specific to (a) particular powerset(s), and which wouldn't require editing the actual power effects at all ... only which slots are allowed into 3 powers (the personal attacks) per Mastermind primary.
  2. On second thought, Assault Rifle IS another set that could use polishing/buffing pass. Some of the elements of Soldier of Arachnos rifle attacks ought to be backported over to Assault Rifle ... and maybe even go so far as to swap out the functionality of Ignite for the functionality of Enflame from the Sorcery pool.
  3. Found an exterior view for you.
  4. One of the solutions to that problem that I've used is getting Inner Inspiration (for free from the P2W vendor) which then allows you to create 3 medium to large inspirations every 30 minutes ... which can then be sold on the auction house. The mediums don't sell for much (usually) but the large one do, and over time you can (slowly) accumulate INF just by popping that every half hour or so. If you've got lots of alts (I've got 9) you can round robin log in to all of them and do this, so I can sell up to 27 every 30 minutes or so and then just pool the INF later via sending in-game emails to my global handle and then pulling the INF from all of those emails onto the character I want to be the beneficiary. Not as fast as other schemes for playing the market, but it is a way for you to accumulate 1 million INF before reaching Level 10 with relatively little difficulty, since it's a Slow But Steady scheme that gets you something for nothing (basically popping Inner Inspiration every so often).
  5. Expense is relative. You're paying for the expense "once" per build. At most you're spending 50-100 Merits to buy from the Merit Vendor ... or spending INF to either buy the recipe or the enhancement from the market. However, once you have them, they last the lifetime of the character.
  6. My votes: Force Field Sonic Resonance Trick Arrow Mind Control (not necessarily in that order)
  7. I forget what the cooldown on Blink was, but it was like 20-25 seconds and it only teleported you 20 ft ... a far cry from being able to teleport 300+ feet (and needing to load everything that "wasn't there before" due to distance) every 2 seconds ...
  8. Yeah, the Nemesis Staff is pretty sparkly when seen up close ... 😅
  9. Suppressive Fire HamiO: Endoplasm Exposure (+2 Acc/Mez) Gladiator's Javelin - Chance of Damage(Toxic): Level 10 Gladiator's Net - Chance of Damage(Lethal): Level 10 Neuronic Shutdown - Chance of Damage(Psionic): Level 10 Ghost Widow's Embrace - Chance of Damage(Psionic): Level 20 Decimation - Chance of Build Up: Level 25 4 damage procs at (clamped) 90% chance to proc. 1 build up proc with a 36.11% chance to proc for 5.25s of buff duration. Now take a look at how much damage Suppressive Fire does natively, and compare it to how much damage a damage proc will do per proc (90% chance) ... and do the math. This is how you turn Suppressive Fire into a proc monster power that not only delivers a pile of damage (287 with 4 successful procs) while also delivering mezz (Stun or Hold depending on ammo type in use) which can be stacked. And yes, I only discovered this recently ...

  11. Beast/Kinetics
  12. Has there been much research done yet on pairing Electical Affinity with Beam Rifle (either on Defender or on Corruptor) yet? Kind of wondering if the defensive/sapping potential of Electrical Affinity paired with the offensive potential of Beam Rifle might make for an interesting combination of flavors/factors.
  13. Ninja/Forcefield definitely CAN be done ... but I'd still put it behind Time Manipulation as a pairing with Ninjas simply because no matter how much Defense you pile onto Ninjas, they're still going to get hit and take damage, and Forcefield offers no "native" way to heal up what damage your Ninjas will be taking (even if it's minimal). By contrast, Time Manipulation can heal all of your Ninjas simultaneously, in addition to the damage that you've taken yourself, in addition to buffing their (and your) Regeneration rate into the bargain so they won't need to be healed quite as often to say nothing of the potential that Temporal Selection offers on top of everything else (buff 4 out of 6 Ninjas simultaneously?). Yes, Forcefield will turn Ninjas into (spastic) NO GET HITSU!! Scrapper pets ... but that's only ONE aspect of their survival getting covered (Defense) without also being able to patch them up from damage taken short of resorting to Aid Other, which is a less than satisfactory alternative to Temporal Mending in Time Manipulation (which in my opinion is the superior option).
  14. Well ... NOW ... sure ... but the Synapse's set didn't exist when I posted that, so times have changed on that score.
  15. NAILED IT.
  16. Fixed that for you.
  17. Redlynne in Issue 2 fighting 5th Columnists who were literally 9 feet tall ... Redlynne was (and still is) only 5 feet tall. Eventually she decided to infiltrate Crey Industries and adopted what I called her "Evil Secretary Mode" costume after I saw the first Crey Agents in Brickstown. Then they tried to ambush me in Steel Canyon (it didn't go well for them). And some pictures just don't need any explanation at all, do they?
  18. For all the impact that Claire Bennet had on the Heroes series, you'd think that Hayden Panettiere would have wound up with a better launching of her acting career ... and yet she hasn't really broken through all that well since 2006 ... Save the cheerleader. Save the world.
  19. So ... having a downtime for Domination is okay? Or are you trying to argue that Domination should have no downtime ever, regardless of global recharge buffing?
  20. Ah, so the problem isn't the forest ... it's all of these damn trees!
  21. I've always been of the opinion that Leadership toggles got "built wrong" in the sense that they're overly simplified. I would have preferred that Leadership gave a Self Only buff on top of the PBAoE buffing that it does, so the caster gets a "double dose" of buffing while everyone else gets only a "single dose" of buffing. That way, Leadership isn't the "always inferior when solo" option.
  22. So 5% for non-Superior version and 7.5% for the Superior version then. The example of Spirit Ward in the Sorcery pool would be a 15 second duration. I can easily imagine that 5-10 seconds feels about right when the "thickness" of the Absorb is so "thin" (5% to 7.5% of HP) and gets blown through so quickly.
  23. Ah yes, team synergy. I was thinking in terms of the soloist able to perma-Domination in the build planner. That's because in the context of this topic, the problem isn't Domination itself ... but is rather the ability to perma the Domination power. Being able to (re)cast Domination "too quickly" so as to achieve permanent 100% uptime is the response that I would have to the subject of the topic. I wanted to be clear about the "shape" of what I would define as the problem, and then once that "shape" is revealed ... what are you prepared to do about it (if anything) and why ... so that you can then start to make informed decisions about the merits of different approaches to grappling with the issue (including absolutely nothing at all). It's only when you can clearly see the options, and the implications of those options (including doing absolutely nothing different) that the true sense of what is as stake becomes clear.
