Yep Though a nice router has never been a requirement. I don't have super computer, super internet OR a super router. I have few problems with the game, but if I did then it's my responsibility. I don't want to punish folks, but folks should take responsibility for their own actions. It's supposed to be fun. If we have 20 minutes we maybe shouldn't sign up for a DR Q pug. Part of it is on the team. being clear about type of mission, difficulty and potential time commit also helps.

Yep Claiming one item going over 2B will get a warning. Claiming lots of sales will not trigger the warning.

You haven't tried Super Reflexes on a Tanker yet.. so yummy. Super Reflexes / Energy Melee. maybe I should read further before posting.. nah

I try to never install device software. If it doesn't work out of the box or with an updated driver, then it's next device. It's rare I really have to install software for a device to work. Sure I can't change the colors of my current keyboard's backlit.. but at least I can dim it. The software that came with the keyboard is basically bloatware that wants to update itself and basically run advertisements. No thanks.

@Michiyo The tequila launcher eventually updated and works. fyi - I can get into open Betas with it just fine. I'm sure folks will start to look into the new launcher. Maybe HC has a little little PR blitz planned for down the road (so long as it has moved past removing files from peoples computers).

The launcher now works just as it did. Just had to be patient. Thanks @Cipher for letting us know about the delay for those not using the HC Launcher yet.

@Lunar Ronin yes. And it's not that simple. We have folks with a wide range of computer specs and capabilities. A heavily modded setup might require extra work to change launchers. This computer somehow has three separate installs all from Homecoming. /City of Heroes, /HC, /Homecoming.. it can be as clear as mud sometimes. @GM Crumpet I did test the new launcher and can use it. Tequila seems to boot me from the game less often.. sooo... whatdayawantmetosay "I am change resistant" 🙂

Ruda, the initial response was not to change launchers. It is definitely an option to switch, which may involve more than folks think in order to have everything work as someone wants. "The patch manifest that unofficial launchers use lags behind our official launcher by a bit, you'll have to either switch to the official launcher or give it a bit of time to update."

Crippling peeps game for the 20th anniversary was not the plan. What matters came from Cipher: " ..give it a bit of time to update. " It's a May celebration. I was all excited to login asap too. I'll save being disappointed for later today, if it doesn't work then..

Able to log in and view the server list. When selecting a server the message above appears. Logged in with test manifest, without test manifest, exited restarted, still get message when accessing live servers. Brainstorm however grants access.

Feel, and that is very subjective. For some that is being effective. For others this is survivability while for others it might be control. I am happy taking on a handful of targets with a primarily single target specialist; stunning some, and placating others while dealing with a hard target. I can be the hot knife through butter one target at a time and be pleased, I am happy using fear and slow together, while again working through a group solo or with a team. The whole AoE without consequences steamrolling of huge mobs while racing to acquire the best loot gets repetitive and boring. Your mileage may vary.

If I remember correctly, this game is not that accessible. The lift to make it accessibility compliant at shutdown was cost prohibitive. The bar may have shifted since.
