If you love a name, set it free.. at least the ones you're not really gonna use. Gift them to some friends you'll feel good every time you see them. This is troo. I saw someone trying to sell names on one of the servers. That person deserves a little timeout, followed by an account reset for the day, and maybe the loss of a finger (just to the first knuckle, nothing too terrible but a taste of old testament). It's up there with price gouging for water.

I am glad you brought this up. There may be folks who planned to build 'tribute' characters with names they acquired. This is NOT allowed. A combination of Name, Costume and/or Description can and should lead to removal. Costume alone could be enough. Name alone is more discretionary with obvious exceptions. I tried to get Knight and Rook first, then did get Bishop. I wouldn't risk the name Bishop by intentionally infringing on any intellectual property. Mine will likely be a wizard. IF I were to unintentionally infringe on some intellectual property, be cool about it, I do not know comics as well as many of our resident experts. Send me a nice tell and I would make changes. If I fail to make changes, then report me.

I think the logins peaked around 2,500 (total all servers) with Excelsior going red. [seems pretty strong 5+ years in] The strategy of [new character] [any AT] [any Power] [random costume] [Atlas Park] [run into City Hall (for the zero second logout)], rinse & repeat worked well enough. Villain side.. not as easy. Biggest fear: Misspelling a name. Biggest surprise: 10 minutes for the name release code to proliferate. Biggest laugh: 'Bob' was available. I have a character named Bob now. It was great to see so many new characters created at the spawn points. I won't tell folks what to do but in my opinion there is no need to name squat on dozens of names we aren't going to use. Hi @Magical. There's little difference between Star Hammer, Starhammer, S t a r h a m m e r, Star_Hammer, Star-Hammer, Hammer Star, & Star Hamster. Gold star if you read that far. Congratulations to those who were able to grab that one-coveted-name! And /em fistwave to whomever has Tru on Indomitable. I loathe thee. You are nothing but a low-down, double-dealing, backstabbing, larcenous perverted worm! Hanging's too good for ya. Burning's too good for ya! You should be torn into little bitsy pieces and buried aliiiiive! Alternately, feel free reach out with a reasonable request to make a deal and we can be friendsies, okay 🙂

I have ~100 alts on each Indom and Excel with about 20 on Ever, some with pretty sad naming. Some 50s will be getting new names. I was able to secure some from my tiered wish list: Indomitable Excelsior Tru nope X Shadow X nope Demon X X Spectre X X Mummy nope nope Endgame X nope Glacier nope X Saturn X nope Jupiter nope nope Bob X nope I am pretty happy to get one 'Tru', and two 'Demon' and 'Spectre'. Also secured: 'Supreme', 'Wiz', 'Bishop', and 'Rascal' Will be dumping dozens of names into the wild by Tuesday via Drop a name, pick up a name.

I'll post a list of what I got later. I had a list of 10 with two I really wished for.

Is it a typo if terminology is interchanged? Most places refer to 'servers' other places are referred to as 'shards'. It seems this can and does cause some confusion. "Transfer you character to another server." "CHARACTER TRANSFER WARNING! NOTE: Your name is not guaranteed to be available on the new server! Transferring a character to another server cannot be reversed and has the following effects: One server transfer token will be deducted from your account inventory. You will be granted a rename token if your name has to be changed." "Shard XP Boosts Reunion & Indomitable: 2x Torchbearer: 1.5x"

You may be able to find some help in the thread below: "I use a PS2 controller and sometimes the ingame setting dropdown switches from 'joystick' to something else and it seems like the controller just isn't working."

Actually, it's going on now and ends Tuesday. It has been there for sometime and not well advertised.

Did you know Indomitable and Reunion servers have a 2x Shard XP Boost? Torchbearer has a 1.5 Shard XP Boost. The S.T.A.R.T Vendor (formally P2W) on all servers has options to boost XP gain. Double XP Booster (1 Hour) This will immediately grant the player a 100% boost to XP gain. While this boost is active, Influence/Infamy gain will be reduced by 100%. You may purchase up to 8 hours. While the START Vendor options cuts $$ the server boosts do not. So if you are currently are using or have thought of using the START Vendor 100% xp boost. Folks can get the same benefit without losing $$. We also have server transfers to move back and forth with relative ease.

That's okay. No need to be sorry. Folks get to go where ever they want. This topic is not as complicated as some are making it. The server bonus experience is only that, XP. There is nothing to solve in this topic other than the level of communication regarding a significant change. If reward merits, infamy, or other rewards suddenly got cut in half on all servers with no notice or explanation that would be significant, wouldn't it?

um.. just fyi: the server experience bonus did not reduce infamy ($$).

'Mode: PVE' vs 'Mode: PVP' maybe. Top right-ish next to the Villain/Hero button. Could be Superiors missing or something simple. In Mids are the sliders for Dodge and Lucky set to 0? If you are comparing your actual build in-game build to a Mids build perhaps you could share your build and we could take a look on the test server.

..soooo there is no goal. We get that it is very difficult to please most and nearly impossible to please everyone. Folks are gonna have a number of beefs with how this is handled. Even in-the-loop discorders appear to be reacting a bit neutral to poorly.

Even with too many announcements we could at least point to something and say "hey, we did share that information". (I hear what you are saying @lemming) Question: What would the goal of ending small shard bonus experience be? Is there some pressing reason to do so?

Odd that this is the first I have heard of this. Seems like it would be communicated well in advance rather than a surprise for anyone.

This sucks to hear. I was not close with Felecia but I have played with them. Have a character in All-Out-War. 😞
