  4. I disagree. Just as I should not impersonate you, I should not impersonate any works you may have created as my own. It's pretty basic. Baseline: I'd rather the devs and staff spend their time creating more content and work on keeping the lights on while fending off the numerous infrastructure attacks they face rather than policing players. It's a free game. It's downloadable and can be setup to run on private server where folks can make up their own rules. To play on Homecoming we agree in advance to specific, and rather reasonable terms. In some contexts that's referred to as a pledge or contract. Even among demons a pledge or contract carries weight.

    ENERGY MELEE

The context is what I was mostly laughing at. Uncontrollably laughing. Without_Pause & Nihilii providing strong, experienced endorsements for EM on Scrappers to the original poster, then the short quote and comment "Nope, there's 6 better at ST for Scrappers" (which is a semi-crazy assertion outside of a very very narrow slice of the game on a uber min/max build in one very specific situation) I won't argue that EM is the absolute best any more than I'd argue Regen is the best. "The best" is very individual. I will argue that EM is not 7th for single target damage across all levels, content and build budgets. (I'm fairly certain we agree on this) Context: @Ston will always get props from me for gathering data and doing testing. They are usually pretty clear that the numbers apply to specific testing and conditions. In energy melee's case it likely could use a slightly improved rotation. The same could potentially be the case for other sets. But the results are what Ston got with the caveats provided. Comparing sets that leverage multiple FF procs and ridiculous numbers of -res procs with sets that lack them was likely not to be taken as effectiveness across the game.
  6. Whew, one year later and made it all the way to 212. Thanks to everyone and most recently @Glorious "Glorious reacted to a post in a topic Remove Thumbsdown & Confused"
  7. 30 seconds < 1 minute 😜
  8. You know what we're talking about.
  9. drop something and take both πŸ™‚
  10. that's fair. i chimed in with my nickel's worth. it's not like folks readily expect "to be able to hit like a blaster choking down reds AND defend like a tricked out brute".. silly Troo.
  11. maybe i just dont know the proper definition of 'exploit'. it seems this allows folks to exceed their intended potential. this could have a ripple effect in that players who do this may then expect the same broken performance in other archetypes.
  12. it actually not that click heavy but it can interrupt attack chains that cycle forever from time to time. soo you're right. Fast Healing = Auto Reconstruction = 20 Sec Quick Recovery = Auto Dull Pain = 120 Sec Integration = Toggle Resilience = Auto Instant Healing = 200+ Sec Moment of Glory = 120 Sec the dps impact of clicks in regular fights (non solo/av) is minimal.

  14. @SeraphimKensai Great run !! Thank you for your contributions.
  15. It's ACCURACY Misses consume endurance Misses are lost damage Misses lead to getting hit more once we are accurate we can chase other priorities and then add buildup and/or aim for more accuracy.
  16. redside needed some more content.

  18. Ooof. I'd suggest Stone Melee over KM. Regeneration, like other sets, has better and worse secondary synergies. I too like secondaries with -tohit, knockdown, or +dmg, etc. @liveevil2000 you might like Regeneration as long as the expectation includes understanding that it is not a defensive/dodging set. Troo, whatchoo mean? Answer: Regeneration characters get hit. Often... well, nearly always. Regeneration heavily rewards tactical awareness. Knowing what targets have slows or nasty debuffs allows prioritization in order to minimize their impact. The reactive nature of the set it can be fun and different. Learning how to time some of the activations can lead to some faceplants, which the player will know could have been avoided. If I were new to the set, I'd consider taking Revive at 28 until I didn't need it anymore. (full disclosure: it's not in any of my builds) If a player is accustom to using inspirations frequently, it has been argued that Regeneration could be the best set when leveraging the tactic. (not my style) _____ ___ ______ Regeneration can be very knife's edgey where we're either comfortably taking hits or things are going south very quickly to where a player better have a plan. My plan at times has been: Cycling a combination of Moment of Glory, Instant Healing, Rune of Protection, & Demonic Aura while applying Darkest Night as needed. These days I am not using Dull Pain perma like I used to. I pop it on occasion if I get to 1/2 health. I and others have done +4/8 challenges on Regeneration characters without Incarnates. I still think the set on a Tank would be overpowered.
  19. its a tougher look to make than I thought
  20. @Cipher @Cipher @Cipher I can't remember if it is 3 players saying their name 3 times or asking for it repeatedly-non-stop-over-years which makes them appear and update. I wish I could just remember.. πŸ˜›
  21. Almost to the one year anniversary
  22. Folks check in here from time to time to see if there is anything new. We know the devs are doing things behind the scenes... it could be nice if we had some notice in advance what is being worked on. Or a cryptic peak behind the curtain. An occasional summary of discord discussions... anything.. we're not tough to please when we get hungry (ask Snarky)
  23. Finding the right +__/___ can help. There are a lot of levers without getting into how many players should it take to defeat a target and vice versa.
