  1. You misspelled Mastermind. It's a common mistake.
  2. The biggest problem with porting animations to different powers is that they rarely line up in terms of animation times. If a power has a 2 sec animation time you can't simply port over an animation from a power with a 1 sec animation time because they won't line up. And while it's possible to adjust the length of animations it's a LOT of very time-consuming work using old, outdated, and clunky software.
  3. There is absolutely NO reason to be rude. You posted in a bugs forum, claiming the inability to slot a set enhancement into a power that does not take any set enhancements is a bug. It's not. Despite your repeated protestations we did actually read what you posted, and I went out of my way to load the game and take screenshots to show you how to recognize when powers can take set IOs, and that Swift does not. It's not a bug. It was done this way on purpose. If you believe this limitation on Swift and Hurdle should be changed you can post that in the Suggestions forum. But as others have pointed out, there's at least one good reason why this limitation exists.
  4. Swift and Hurdle don't accept any IO sets enhancements. It's not a bug, it's by design. Compare it to Sprint, which does take IO sets.
  5. Unfortunately most ATs have endurance issues to one degree or another even with an end reducer in every power. IOs that add +end and +recovery can help, as can Recovery Serum from the START vendor.
  6. I feel like these powers have the same kind of utility as sleeps. They're good for taking a critter or group out of the battle (or prevent them from entering) for a decent period of time. Great for soloing or small team use, but not of much use on a large fast-moving team.
  7. Stephanie Peebles, "Defeat All Council agents". Most critters are lvl 22 or 23 as expected, but most groups also have a level 25 LT. Looks like they're all Vortex Elite Adjutants.
  8. Yup. I got the game running on a Samsung Galaxy Tab S6 using Winlator. Tho not much you can do without a keyboard and mouse.
  9. Which is why I said misconceptions. Because there were plenty of people during the event that kept telling others to turn off double XP claiming it only gives 11x XP instead of 20x (which in itself is a misconception). Not everyone is inclined to do testing or comes to the forums looking for test results done by players.
  10. Other than the lag I think it's a really fun event. There are a number of misconceptions about various mechanics that I think would be helpful if the devs cleared up one way or the other (double XP, AoE stealth, team/league composition and XP, etc). But other than that I wouldn't change much. Maybe make the GM not so nasty and easier to defeat, but even as-is it's pretty enjoyable when it's not a slide show.
  11. And this shit right here, a glowing perfect example, is why most people refuse to post anything in the forums. The constant bickering, the constant negativity, the constant toxicity is just SO FUCKING OLD.
  12. Not to play one. That's all you need to know.
  13. No badges, but it's a great way to quickly unlock incarnate slots.
  14. It goes till the 15th
  15. Underscore(s) are not necessary. Commands will work either way.
  16. I'm thinking something like /bind A "powexecname Painbringer$$say $target You are now Pain Incarnate!"
  17. I've repeatedly heard throughout the event that people shouldn't run AoE stealth powers like Shadow Fall and Steamy Mist because they interfere with spawn sizes. I have no idea if this is true or not (seems unlikely to me) but some people are convinced it is. It's not a particularly exciting event due to all the lag, but it's a great way to get your incarnate slots unlocked quickly and earn a nice chunk of INF.
  18. It's not a particularly solo-friendly set. Now with that being said, it has two -resistance powers that stack, which will increase the amount of damage you do. PFF is a great "oh shit" power. Damping Bubble debuffs damage and tohit, both of which reduce your incoming damage (and also provides resistance to defense debuffs, something Council has in abundance). And all the knockback/down should also help keep you alive longer. I'm not a fan of Detention Field and similar powers, but it can be useful solo or in small groups to take critters out of the battle temporarily.
  19. I just tested this and didn't notice any difference. Combat monitor showed flight speed to be identical.
  20. It only seems to happen in high pop blue zones like Steel, Talos, and PI, especially when there are a lot of people all in the same area.
  21. Kids today will never know the healthy glow from radium-laced cosmetics.
  22. Increased mez MAG, mez protection, and +100 end are the main effects . You don't need perma Hasten, but IIRC you need about 135% recharge, which you can get from set bonuses. You are correct, you can't fill the bar unless you attack. But if you have enough recharge for perma Dom the bar never empties.
  23. Wait, wut?
  24. In the Controls option there is a Mouse Scroll setting. Alternatively In the options.txt file there is a setting called DisableMouseScroll. Set it to 1 and that should disable the mouse wheel scrolling. EDIT: my bad, I don't think this works. EDIT #2: you might be able to create a workaround using a program like AutoHotKey to replace the mousewheel with another action in CoH that you can bind to.
  25. I want to say there is indeed a range limit, but I'm not sure what that limit is.
