  1. Hi folks, So one of my Tankers has been languishing in an unfinished state for a heck of a long time, and I figure it's time to set that right. I took a look at a build of @Hyperstrike's that I saw, changed it a bit to suit my tastes. Any feedback anyone has to offer would be greatly appreciated. I took this out for a spin on Brainstorm and it felt pretty good. Hyper, if you're reading: the one thing that concerned me from your original build was the full set of Avalanche in Foot Stomp. I get that it's there for the great set bonuses to E/N and F/C, but when Avalanche procs, it stacks with Foot Stomp's native KB to knock some guys back instead of down. It struck me as just happening often enough to be aware it's a thing, but not really something to lose sleep over. Has that been your experience? Thanks for your time everyone.   2. If the wiki is right, he takes slow enhancements, but not sets.
  3. I remembered Fort Trident, too, which is why I misfired into thinking the Crucible was in Mercy. But once I walked in it all came back to me. I like the revamp so far.

  6. Amen. IMO, getting some help for one of the worst DPS cases of a Ranged Attack set shouldn't require too much asking.
  7. That's quite interesting. Any chance you've done additional testing on Elec since its revamp?
  8. I took two shakes to glance at the new Mace, "Power Maul," last night. It's cool, always glad to see mor tech-themed hittin' sticks. But unless I'm wrong, it seems to only inherit a single color. Any chance it could get two color values, one for the weapon and one for the energy glow?
  9. Fair enough. I mean, I'm not really invested in that power for damage, but if it's there, I'll take it. Got an Ice^3 Dom that'll be keen to kick the tires on these changes.
  10. How much does it do compared to Bonfire (which seems to me to be its closest comp)?

  13. Hey there, So I've got a rogue character on whom I'm starting to get more serious about badging. I'm in the process of going around the figurative horn, doing tip missions, changing to each alignment, staying there for its requisite week. Is there a list anywhere of badges that can only be acquired as a hero? I ask because I clearly have two of them at the top of my "Closest to Completion" tracker (Task Force Commander, and the one for Day-Jobbing the Shadow Shard), and I figure I should get those all knocked out while I'm in the Hero/Vigilante side of the spectrum.   17. The only reason I haven't played my Elec^2 Corr to do exactly this is because 80% of my logged in time since this Page released was spent doing the exact same thing on my Elec Sentinel and Blaster. 😄 Bottom line, I'm really digging the new changes, across all ATs.

  20. I can't recall, when you level the B-side, do you get the "Chutes and Ladders" action, where when you hit 24 it zips you back down to 1 to start again?

  22. Yikes. Bad flashbacks to 2004-me trying to find the Tech SO contact in Founders Falls, and subsequently deciding that the east end of the zone was to thereafter be called "Sniper Alley." Flah forward a week or so, a new friend asking me where the Tech SO guy is, and I was like, "I'll tell you, but you can't make me go!" 🙂
  23. I get that, but as much as we all like to joke about altitis, I'm up over 50 chars on my main server, and I'm getting to the point where I'd like to maybe keep the roster bloat a little under control.
  24. Hey there, So I've got a Fortunata, and she's fun, I play her every so often when my alt-crush goes to her. I've only ever played her as a Fort, even back on Live I never actually played a Widow as a Night Widow. I'm thinking, instead of rolling up a whole separate character, ust use the dual-build function to make the Night Widow the second build o my Fortunata. I honestly don't see a reason to not do it this way, versus making a second character. Do you think I'm missing something? If so I'd love to hear your two cents. Thanks, Generator
