So, on my Super Str Character who has knockout blow. I have slotted a superior blistering cold chance for hold. It works fairly reliably except when................. I hit a flying enemy then............... I get a floating iceberg in midair..................... it's kinda off putting since you know physics & stuff?

This isn't the right thread for it but since you asked............. Doms could have the temporal manipulation set proliferated over to become temporal assault? kin assault might also be nice

@biostem Neat, its a bit heavy on the CC tho. The devs might reduce damage on the set to compensate? 8. Tornado alone is a completely OP power, it does great damage can't be targeted creates fear which might be too powerful. Maybe a few less kinetic melee abilities and a few more ice and electric? 6. also a recovery/stealth/heal/defense/mez resist is a bit much maybe drop the stealth/def or the heal/mez resist?

ok so as a professional blapper my opinion is: after reading this thread in its entirety and attempting to help OP with elemental requests then, specific power requests the aesthetic request is not possible on the HC server. it IS possible just not on this server. Just to be clear The ability to mix and match elements and powers on a whim from multiple sets onto a single character does exist. just not on this server. Due to ToS i cannot provide any specific information, however Most search engines can easily assist you in this endeavor.

OP is suggesting a tactical use of abilities VS pewpew/smash? I am 100% for this but................. considering the reception storm got for being just slightly more strategic to play. (not me tho i love it) This upgrade (and yes its definitely an upgrade) may not be well received by the: Purists /Jrangers Power Creep crew you got my vote though

???/Electric/fire Dominator gives you 3 elements including Fireball (exploding aoe) Lightning Bolt (powerful straight line attack) Various ??? control abilities ??? could be ice or earth to round out the element you prefer.

i usually just play through it when it happens. doesn't happen often and its a minor inconvenience at best

agreed! although DP is already one of the best animated sets already it can always be better!

this has been happening to me only recently as well, in fact I reported it as a bug.

If you wanna do damage with a controller and don't mind absolute chaos fire/storm is the way to go

I have a staff/ninja scrapper and its underwhelming. Its fun to play and look at it sounds really impactful (sometimes) but it feels weak, dots dont crit. I can push through by reminding myself that in a game where you can shoot lasers and knock enemies a hundred feet in the air, hitting enemies with a stick shouldn't do that much damage logically.

savage melee is great the only issue is you cant use claw models with the powerset 😞

^^ I have a SS/shield i was testing a Fure/Rage/Against all odds theory to try to really pump up the damage. It works the damage is F A N T A S T I C but.......... Shield is a def based set so when rage crashes and u lose defense there's a chance of death. I know most players aren't fond of dirtnaps but tbh its soo strong that without that bit of strategy the char would be boring to play (imo)

I frequently CTP right into golden dragonfly with no issues.

so replace the power with ring of fire?

maybe we can change the repel to like 2 seconds of fear? since fire already has a precedence with fear being a soft control?
