So because your regen doesn't die fast neither should energy armor? Sorry I'm having a really hard time understanding the point you are trying to make. Regardless, I showed a pic of my stats. Perhaps yours are better? Or maybe I've forgotten something crucial? My point is I don't seem to die quite as easily with other armor sets as EA. Even if we compare EA to other sets, shouldn't we compare it to other defense-based sets as is OP's intention? I keep energize on auto otherwise I die even faster (seriously) EA sure looks nifty though 😁

If you solo more often than not. Defense is important. 9 out of 10 times defense is better than resistance for lots of reasons. the best reason as a corrupter is they have no resistance to Mez. Defense will help you avoid getting stunned/held/slept etc. Storm is mostly ranged so ranged defense is probably your best bet. When teaming defense and resistance aren't as important anymore because you have teammates who usually have buffs/heals to make up for it. Lastly as a storm/storm corrupter I can honestly say my biggest deficiency is endurance. Have fun

um regen is a different thing, I think? If we are talking about other sets besides EA or shield, I'd say give ninja a shot as it affords lots of utility. And if we are no longer discussing defense-based sets I'd recommend Elec or Rad Regardless I still have issues with EA's survivability.

I like EM on a stalker, controlled crits are amazing

I had a bud who played an ice/ice stalker and basically went around one shotting entire mobs with ease. It was amazing to behold and kinda scary tbh. He doesnt play anymore but i learned a valuable lesson dont underestimate any powerset combination when built and played properly

I have a Scrapper psi/EA and the mechanic plus crits helps with the heavy psi resistance late game but i cannot for the life of me enjoy EA. while it looks solid on paper, it faceplants fairly quickly vs most foes for some reason I am not an amazing player but shields positional defenses keep me alive more often than not in comparison.

heavens forbid using strategy instead of a straight up LEROYYYYYYY JENKINSSSSSSSSSSS approach. but yeah ambushes are quite difficult to weather (see what I did there) with this set. Personally I like that the set is more solo friendly (cause I solo mostly) I like that its different than the other Blastery sets. Variety is good Even if it isn't perfect, does a perfect set even exist?

oooh ferromancy. might be easier to reskin plant manipulation set into shiny chrome?

i have no issue getting insight to proc, the lockout makes that happen less often than id like

dude I have this controller and I've tried really hard to set it up to play but its just so frustrating and I just don't have time to spare. so glad that someone out there got this working

I like this idea. a power that analyzes foes in range and then copies (at random) their abilities on that temporary power bar thingy. but I dunno what the rest of the power set would look like

ln theory doesn't this already exist? You can buy temp power jetpacks that vanish when not in use. No I'm not suggesting you use only jetpacks nor am I belittling your suggestion I'm just pointing out that this request is highly possible Costume parts that are visible only when a power has been activated would be awesome. Wings get in the way when I'm walking sometimes.

So while messing about in the costume creator i stumbled upon an effect that is similar to OP's request Tight Metallic 3 Malaise pattern (black and white colors Glow aura (ymmv) Rainbow travel aura Its not perfect, but is anything?

removing the lock-out is probably the simplest way to improve the DPS for psi melee I don't use boggle myself but the whole jedi mind trick thing IS thematic

Im very old but i cant seem to remember the absorb mechanic during live. that being said How useful is the absorb mechanic? It never seems to make much of a difference (imo) Are there any AT's/Builds that maximize upon this mechanic?
