ability/skill/talent/power trees are part of how many RPG's work. Crosspunch was created to address this very issue and it does so pretty well (if u happen to use it). I'd rather see some more defense powers similar to weave in the EPP (most are resists)

I don't like the cell shading itself but i do like the cell lighting option. gives more depth without giving that cartoonish feeling

The devs have said that there are particle limits that must not be exceeded.

Welcome back to Sai's super ridiculous request time! Today's request is for an inverted rainbow streak travel aura. Right now, we have a normal rainbow streak (mostly red, yellow, blue primary colors) Can we get an inversion that consists of green, purple oranges? (asking for a friend)

just tested and no its not me hitting both mouse buttons to engage auto run (that is neat tho thanks for teaching me that) ok ill order a new mouse hope that fixes the issue. Thanks for the advice

every so often. My mouse does this weird thing where the right click button becomes run and holding it down will allow me to autorun+change camera angles. Its not really debilitating just kind of confusing until I realize what's happening Am i somehow doing this through an unknown shortcut? Is this a glitch? Is it reproducible? am I alone with this issue?

1. Think of city of heroes as taking place in a time loop created by Ouroboros. 2. Phone booths are an iconic part of lore for heroes and Doctors alike 😉 3. You can use an Oro crystal to instantly teleport to NPC's instead of taking the scenic route. (personally i think its weird that all NPC have cell phones *shrug*) If you try your hand at base construction, you will find you can make it as sci-fi or retro or arcane as you like. One of the best parts of this game is you are not locked into 1 look/theme.

2 decades of play and I still see new things I never noticed fairly frequently. The other day i was in Faultline (i think, im old my memory is fuzzy) and as i exited a mission i saw a bunch of sky raiders having an aerial dogfight with longbow. I was shocked. and for a split second that feeling i got when i played this game in its infancy returned. Wonder & amazement. its the little things that remind us of how fantastic this game is. Thanks @Skyhawke for this thread.

I too have noticed mob irregularities. They seem to run diagonally instead of directly towards my char when aggroed. this could be a problem for narrow cones.

*Bump* This is also occurring occasionally with ninja secondary katana attacks on the blaster archetype. Cannot reproduce reliably. Happens about 30% of the time In fact when pairing AR/Ninja the constant redrawing of either gun or blade (yeah I made that lol) seems to cause significant noticeable visual delays. (plays just fine tho)

yes so much work and effort to play. far too much to be fun imo, but some people enjoy clickfest.

Fair enough. Get more skilled is a totally valid suggestion. however I am far past my gaming prime. My concentration is shot My reflexes are shot My memory is shot While i am not suggesting we lower the bar to accommodate the rapidly aging population. I also don't want to struggle to play *cough kheldians cough* The way i see it there are only 3 possible options 1. Keep the game pure. Change nothing. experience the way it was when it ended. 2. Improve things. Powers, quests, costumes. 3. Scorched Nerf. For the sake of the balance NERF IT ALL! Option 1 will be a slow death for this game. Option 2 is treading water. Option 3 is fast death.

there are already a few parts that aren't available for some body types this would just another added to the list

same ole, same ole humans crave new experiences while simultaneously hating change, meanwhile both are mutually exclusive. I wouldn't call the forums a joke per se because the Devs do monitor and even occasionally respond to requests to explain why or why not something is possible. Its impossible to know what suggestions the devs will or will not incorporate in the future. Just shoot your shot and enjoy the game.
