It's been trolling from the get go: People are gullible Shadeknight, it's true...but if you want to tell me that kind of behavior that was described is unbelievable, then you are very naive. It would not be, by a long shot, the craziest thing a group/guild has done on an MMORPG. And so that your condescending summary doesn't become the short version of what happened...my knickers are not in a wad, but I don't enjoy the trolling at all, never found it amusing, nor do I find any trolling amusing, because it's not meant to be amusing, and the trolls have happily stepped and identified themselves, so I am ignoring them. I am not retaliating, I am not name calling, I am just ignoring them...

That might be Starforge...but I am really not a fan of their sense of humor. I haven’t name called anyone, but I have been serious about my viewpoint. So not only do I not like the sense of humor, I haven’t been provided a modicum of respect. To be fair, they have not name called either. Fortunately, this being an online forum, I do not have to listen to their trolling (it’s not really joking, is it? More like trolling). This way everyone wins... I don’t have to listen to nonsense, they can go troll elsewhere, and you don’t have to be exposed to such “comical” relief.

I don't like knockback. It makes me angry. I feel my build choices are invalidated when knockback is played poorly. Sometimes unskilled knockback makes the game harder to play for everyone. Often, I choose to leave a team when things aren't going well because of knockback. [Edited for 'niceness' -- GM Fiddleback] (There's no need to be actively hostile to people.) Having a custom title, playing on the private server and being a helpful, contributing member of the community doesn't prohibit someone from messing around every once in a while. Having a sense of humor and not spilling the beans about a private server that you obviously have a chip on your shoulder about (amongst many other things) are not mutually exclusive. No chip on my shoulder...these guys kept the dream alive for me to be here today...I haven't pined for the game once since it shut down. If it goes back into hiding tomorrow...life will motor on. However, most would say that Trolling is not a "sense of humor". It's designed to get rise of out someone (clearly worked) at their expense. It's the same kind of elementary school humor that thinks pushing a kid in the mud is funny. But thanks for posting, as again, I can add to my list of people who I desire to never hear from again...

Dan, I appreciate you posting...gives some clarity...Sadly though, I still think this group is just bad for the gaming community. There are Nazi's in CoH lore, but I sure wouldn't like a SG based on being Nazi's. With all the division in this country (USA), I come to CoH to get away from it, not be reminded of it. I'll just keep ignoring people who espouse this (guess your next), and I'm going to move on in life...

That's what I did

I suggested, waaaaaay back on Live, giving all Trainers a 6-foot or so very high magnitude, unresistible Repulsion effect. So that everyone would be literally pushed away enough to make a clear zone that people could use to click on the trainer to interact with them. This would help SO much as would general power suppression under the atlas statue. Granted, that would get tricky with the marker on his head. Not tricky...just make the power suppression field 10 ft tall...If you already within the field, you just have to step off and it's "Beam Me Up, Scotty" (fun fact, it was never actually said in the original series). If you are outside the field in the friendly skies, then when you come in lower than 10 ft...It's a very short drop.

I would suspect Dan Petro, who starting this part of the conversation, has a custom title and played on SCoRE would fess up if that was the case. Maybe I expect too much of the stewards of this game when it was secret...regardless, I don't find it funny, so I'm ignoring those who do...I win either way... BTW, explain the Meme to me?

My apologies cutter...it seems two things have happened... 1.) I need to find my marbles, because I know Sondra didn't give merits Live, but I could have sworn I didn't see them on Homecoming...That's my bad 2.) Homecoming upped the Merit rewards for lots of things...Maybe they just upped the award by 3 for lower level missions, but didn't tweak Ouroboros along with it...

Also, any group that requires you give your username and password just to join, basically completely violating game norms and the Code of Conduct, is worth ignoring

That's a good point. Why not just put a ceiling on the power suppression...10ft... People already suppressed can just step outside Atlas Plaza, People swooping in won't be affected until they get w/i 10 ft' and that's not a big fall

Hey Fellow Forum Posters, let's lend a helping hand here - links to guides, specific advice... You guys love to help Max Builds...

Give all trainers a 50-foot Power Suppression field. Also, the Police or Arbiter drones right there where the Trainer is, are hostile to Henchmen/Pets as well as enemy NPCs. (Zap, zap, no more pets.) I think the only place I ever see lag consistently is Atlas Plaza...I frequently rubberband in Atlas Park, but I always rubberband as soon as the music cues for Atlas Plaza. Not other zone does anything except a very rare rubberband. I think just put the power suppression in Atlas Plaza and go from there...I like Oubliette's idea of a 1 min timer...but honestly, that sounds harder to code than just do a blanket suppression.

I would absolutely invite them! But I'm not nearly as whiny and pissy when things go sideways as I've noticed some people are. XP debt builds character. Spot on MunkiLord. And the poster you quoted is making the bad assumption that the only thing a Kheldian brings to a team is Quantum’s. They call out the one negative and ignore all the good things that the AT brings

Ukase, it's a long range teleport power that was added to teleport power pool. I want to hear about the Macro that takes away the Base Teleporter Animation and Interrupt time
