Up until last night, I was still combing those 3 spots...nothing in the i25 patch notes or Paragon Wiki about the new behavior... The only time I see the 20 min timer is under 2 conditions...One is the Pop Window correctly shows Pally's health, and Two, immediately after defeat. I think it is every twenty minutes...but honestly the behavior is so buggy, I would put real coin on it I have never seen the emanators on the map...huh, maybe I just never checked...But the entire event...from emanators...to Pally doing damage...to sea to Shining Stars, all occur in Hyde Park...it's a pretty contained event. It's probably for the best, if he really spawns every 20 minutes...Maybe just broadcast alert in KR's itself would be nice. I don't think so...Paladin spawns a couple block away from the Shining Stars. You have to lure him over to them to get them to engage...

What's wrong with Warshades?

If this is a joke post it's the funniest thing I've read all day. if it's not a joke post... it's still the funniest thing I've read all day. I do wonder though... how do you know your members don't have secret second accounts which they use to get their squid on under an assumed name? I suggest installing some kind of spyware to send out an alert if it registers excessive amounts of purple on their monitors. You can't be too careful... I think members should also submit their browser history to ensure they aren't watching or reading any material that might come off as "Pro-Warshade". I showered once, and this thread still makes feel icky... -
That would essential be knockdown, which is just a lower magnitude of Knockback. We need to separate the usage of the power, from the power itself. First, most of your min/maxers and vocal critics are forum posters, so common perception of KB is different than what we see in the forums. I have never, ever in 8+ years of play been kicked for using KB... And because I solo alot, KB is one of the most useful powers to have for soloing anything other than a heavy defense/resist set. So I want knockback around and i would /jranger any attempt to do so. Unfortunately, for every competent user of knockback there are 10 or a hundred horrible, awful players who just blow enemies in all directions and won't stop when asked. So personally I'd rather see it removed from the game, or allow team leaders to have a toggle that turns all knockback into knockdown or knockup. Well I sometimes think scrappers just run amok grabbing more aggro than they or the team can handle, which is super annoying...so can we eliminate them as well? Or at least give the team leader control of their movement? And tanks who insist every sit around on their butts while they do their thing...Makes me mad...So let's throw them in garbage can or give the team leader the ability to reduce their defenses/resistance... And if I had a nickel for everytime a masterminds pet's caused more problems for the team...I'd have at least a roll of nickels...So dump pets, or let the team leader turn them off Etc, Etc, Etc... There are bad players of every stripe. There are players who are great at the mechanics of the game, and are just jerks as well (I am NOT SUGGESTING at all this you...this is not a personal attack). There are really fun players who keep me in stitches the whole mission, and spend more time typing than doing, well anything... Your suggestion is a bad direction to go...I am absolutely not willing to give a team leader control of my abilities, in any circumstance...and seriously, would you? And for every teammate misusing Knockbock, there is a solo player depending on it, who would otherwise not be able to solo at all. So I stand by /jrangering anything that involves removing what is an essential part of knockback. Can we improve Knockback without eliminating it? I'm sure we can...Sunsette did a great example here. Check it out...if it is better than how KB works now give it a +1...

What's wrong with Warshades?
justicebeliever replied to Robotech_Master's topic in General Discussion
Are you serious? Wow, that's seriously wrong on many levels.. First the name - I realize that Warshades aren't people, but the players behind really don't deserve that label. Because if you say my character is trash, (which is not objectively true), then you are really are making a judgment about those players. It's insulting, but I could let that go... But then to have your account scanned? That's taking things way too far. It's against the code of conduct, it's arrogant beyond belief. I'd love to know who the leaders are so I can ignore them in-game, on discord and on the forums. -100 inf for that supergroup...going to go take a shower now... -

As soon as I see 'wait for the tank to herd', I just start tanking - regardless of AT. :) I totally get setting up specific teams or something to accomplish some type of goal, for goof, etc. The game has enough repetition in it already, IMO, it does not need to me played the same way for each map. I don't run farms for the same reason, it's just boring to me. I am all about Funs Per Second, not Rewards Per Second. Where is the sprogess on that meter I wonder? I _love_ the WS/PB spawn mechanic because it bring in another flavor, for example, even though I don't play either. KB is awesome fun. So Kheldians are always fun to have on a team. Well said..twice in one day...be careful or it'll become a pattern.. +1 inf -

Ran Pally twice last night and learned a lot. Here's some additional adds/clarifications 1.) He runs every 20 minutes after the last Paladin is defeated. 2.) The pop up window for Paladin only occurs in the Hyde Park neighborhood. 3.) I don't think there is a way to stop him from doing property damage...I think it's more a function of stopping the Psionic Emanators before he does the 10K in damage. No idea what bonus if any you get 4.) Once you've defeated the 12 emanators, Paladin will start rampaging...He does not rampage in the same place each time 5.) If you go save the shining stars (they are now shown on the map as a orange dot in front of the KR Bank in Hyde Park) they can help you fight Paladin if you lure over to them 6.) If have seen 3 behaviors for Paladins Health Window It stays at a 100% even after he is defeated for a while (super annoying) It starts at 0% even when he is at full health (villain annoying) Or it actually ticks down from 100 based on Pally's health (appropriate behavior). In this case, if you defeat him, you'll get a 20 min timer popup

What does World of Warcraft do better than Cox?
justicebeliever replied to Hobbes1266's topic in General Discussion
Wanting the 'state of gaming production to change to smaller companies' and 'wanting all the large corporations to die', IMO, are two different things. One is an evolution that involves people spinning out/off these smaller companies as they are viable and creating more games, IMO. The other is simply a irrational, emotion based viewpoint to punish the evil corporations for not giving someone the perfect game, IMO. Project CD Red (I think that's what it's called) shows us this can be done, without the need to put artists and programmers with children and mortgages on the street. How things are done matters, it impacts real humans. Flippant talk of killing off game companies is silly, it's like ranting about communication companies while using the network all day. Small companies make bad games too. WoW keeps a lot of gamer geeks employed. Well said. CoH might not have made it at all were it not for a big company (NCSoft), hosting and helping manage a small companies endevour(Cryptic). And had Cryptic been forced to go it alone, they might have just shuttered CoH when the opportunity to developa Marvel MMO came along. -
I’ve always used security level as a gauge of celebrity. Everyone knows the incarnates. They are mega superstars. Level 50’s are still A-list celebrities, just not able to command a spot in the “top 100” list. Level 40-49 are your B-list celebrities. Level 31-39 are like a-list music stars, models, athletes. Etc, etc...and under level 10 are unknowns making a name for themselves. And with the FRSB and smart phones, I always imagine that I have access to an online database or registered superhumans, villains, etc. I know it’s not perfect role play , but I am a RP lightweight.

Good point. I am not one of the judges, but I am trying to limit it to one entry per account, preferably ONE ENTRY PER HUMAN. Honestly there's no way to stop someone from making dozens of accounts to submit dozens of times without me being the wiser... But I'm hoping the community isn't that obnoxious! :D Really. I'm @Zolgar, I have no idea who @Zolgar1, @Zolgar2, @NotZolgar, @Zolgarseviltwin, @definitelynotanaltaccount, @Z01g4r and, @Ragloz are. Honest! All those other accounts are a Nemesis plot...it makes me wonder if Zolgar is even your real name.

Munkilord has it right, of course. Wait...I have it right as well? I can’t wait to tell Mrs. Believer. Scans page 5. Nothing there. Scans Page 4. Nothing. Page 3, some comment about a sandbox game. That’s not it. Page 2...aha, that’s the post...scans post. Oh, Mrs. Believer, guess what someone said about me on the forums today? Well yes, “Obnoxius Blowhard” was said. But I mean on the City of Heroes forums...oh yeah, that’s right you don’t care about CoH. Yes dear, I’ll be right along to fold laundry.

I think the blinking window might, but being able to dismiss a window is already part of the game's UI

The OP did go to the Pine’s thread as well. Admittedly the poster got more traction here. -

How to earn Inf for your lvl 15 DOs and 25 common IOs
justicebeliever replied to Razia's topic in Guides
Architect Entertainment- it’s marked as AE on the maps where there is one. It also called Mission Architect. You can build and play player created missions. It often used as farming missions for people who want to level quicker -
"Respec Mode" in Pine's Hero Designer?
justicebeliever replied to Extor Prime's topic in General Discussion
But enhancement order doesn’t matter when you Examplar. It just weakens the effect of all your enhancements on any powers still available to you at your level. Power order matters, not enhancement order. EDIT: I am only talking about game, not Pines. I only use it for Medicinal Purposes....I mean to preplan my build -
As Oubliette said that’s how you save your windows. Chat setup is thru a series of commands. Go an alt and put in chat “/chat_save” but without the quotes. On any existing character you’d have to do /chat_load to retrieve those settings. On any new characters it will default to these new settings

Okay then. There are 18 people bidding ridiculously low prices. And 946 that are selling for huge prices. ... you list one for "1", and one of the low-ball bids snaps your item up, netting you only 314. Still nothing wrong at all. That would only be true if 314 was the “highest” bid. Highest Bid is always awarded to the lowest offer. So the other 18 people bidding would ALL have to be bidding lower or equal to 314. So that’s technically possible in this case, it seems exceptionally unlikely (like at the level that I would stop posting and win the lottery). Given how unlikely that is, it seems like something is wrong.
