So if a level 8 group does Posi's Rule of Three, the EB will be lvl 15, but if a lvl 12 group does Posi, he will be lvl 12? And that's before factoring in Notoriety, right? And it's the team leader's lvl and Notoriety that set it?

I have questions 1.) The SEC (Superheroes exchange Commission) says you can't guarantee a return on investment 2.) Are you a register CFP (Certified Forum Participant) so we can be sure you won't just run off with our money? 3.) Will you be using ETF (Enhancement Traded for Funds) as part of investment to manage risk? Sorry, my Financial Planner side got the best of me....

The Future - An Open Letter from the Homecoming Team
justicebeliever replied to Jimmy's topic in Announcements
Rebirth has forums? I’m only aware of their Discord. If you could PM me a link, that would be appreciated. Personally, I’m on 3 out of 4 of the servers (never touching coxg). I played on amost all of the live servers and have no problems spreading the love. I like some of the i25 changes and the server population and the very helpful admins. I like how Pleiades gives me basically the same experience that I had at shutdown and the admins have been very friendly. Rebirth gave many of us our own private servers and the leaders are constantly helping those of us who aren’t as tech savvy continue to keep them running. My personal hope is that at some point the leaders of all of them set aside their differences and egos and find ways to ensure that all servers survive rather than continue to divide the player base. (The players should also stop fanboying and/or throwing hate toward any individual server group. Fallible humans are leading them and deifying or demonizing them doesn’t help anything) Here’s an example on how that could benefit all. One of the developers has an import/export tool created. I believe she’s mitigated the dbquery issues referenced earlier in this thread (need to read her latest notes). Now the discussions are on how this tool can be fairly used to allow people to a) save their characters to alleviate worries about a rapid shutdown. b) move characters for different experiences. Want to level up on Homecoming but want the incarnate experience of Rebirth? This would allow it. Obviously there are many things things to work through, including how to handle sets and ATs and power differences so it would take all the leaders working together. I think there are pro's and con's to both models (centralizing and decentralized). Decentralized allows for different experiences that tailor to the players styles. Don't like how easy HC is - go to another server. You want a server to allow you to auto-level to lvl 50 - there is one out there...Want a free for all <shudder> - join coxg - Another benefit is, and I am totally serious here - the more we don't all work together, the less of a target we are for NCSoft. - (Hey look, they are all playing in the same place - let's send out the C&D and we can shut them all down, and now they will ALL lose their characters). As long as it feels like whack-a-mole to them, we are less of a target. I'm not a fan of central repository in the current scheme for those reasons. Should things change with the legalities, I would likely change my opinion pretty quick. -
Yep I did this with my first room in Live, I was on a team too and by the time I made it halfway across the Hollows the team had defeated Frostfire and I had done nothing to help. <geezer voice>, you young-ins don't know how good you got it. Back when I first started when we were defeated in the Hollows we had to go to the Hospital in Atlas Park, and then run all the way back to Hollows, thru 2 ft of Hellions, going uphill both ways, without a major travel power, then through 20 ft deep trenches of trolls and igneous. Darn whippersnappers

Who else did it? Who else remade their main?
justicebeliever replied to StoneColdJoker's topic in General Discussion
Of course. A horse is a horse? Of course. This is silly - no one can talk to a horse, of course! Also, I did not remake my main. His day has come and gone, and it was time for Heroes Reborn...or is that I have 52 new alts? In any case, decided to start anew -
This is really awesome - good format and breakdown. +1 inf

Going back to your example - Hero A lists a Luck Charm for 3000 Hero B lists a Luck Charm for 2000 Hero C lists a Luck Charm for 500 Hero E bids on a Luck Charm for 1 Hero F bids on a Luck Charm for 1000 Hero F gets the Charm, because his Bid was over Hero C, and Hero C gets the Sale. Hero E gets nothing, and at 1 Inf will likely to continue to get nothing (c'mon man - you gotta spend a little to get a little) Lowest sales price gets the highest bid OVER the sales price... EDIT: Sorry I may have misunderstand the terms here - Alternate Setup Hero G lists a Luck Charm for 1 Hero H lists a Luck Charm for 5 Hero I bids 10,000 for Luck Charm Hero J bids 5,000 for Luck Charm Hero G gets the 10K Bid Hero H gets the 5k Bid But now the history at the market will start show lower and lower bids being excepted, so next time people will see that the last bid was 5K, so the price goes down for everyone

Need help please: Error Parsing Line Argument
justicebeliever replied to Daikon's topic in Help & Support
Thanks Fifth Horseman, I’ve struck out on the last 2 people I have helped. +1 inf -
Not sure I understand. In your example, if you had build 1 inf, that would’ve been lower than the lowest sales price © and you would’ve gotten nothing

I don't get why this is so much better than CO
justicebeliever replied to Warpstarr's topic in General Discussion
I've largely solo'd to 50+ multiple times over the years. It is incredibly convenient and easy to just play it like a single player game with a lot of interesting costumed people also present. I actually don't team much because of my disability and physical challenges... I can't be relied upon to be present all the time in any given team. But solo play is every bit as easy as something like Skyrim or Fallout 3. EDIT TO ADD: This is simply nonsense. There is no way to play the game "properly". Log in, do something. You're playing the game properly. The only way to play it improperly is to grief or harass others. Solo? AE Farm? Publish missions and never team? Only raids? PL to 50 and Mothership all day? Just badge hunt? Just tour and take pretty screenshots? Just play dressup and do nothing but make cool costumes? You are playing the game "properly" in all these cases. This - 100% this. I love to team, but I also love to explore on my own and to solo on my own. I never play Champions, so I can’t compare, but city of heroes is definitely as much a solo game as a MMORPG -

It's a known issue with the certificate signing that'll be fixed in the future - you are totally safe Yes, that's going to continue to happen until I start digitally signing the .exe with a code certificate and they build enough "trust" with the AV companies. The code cert was requested a couple of weeks ago but it's still in the process of being issued, since Homecoming LLC is a new entity they are being extra demanding. I wasn't planning to patch until I had a cert, but it's been two weeks already, so unsigned .exe it is.

In your example Hero C would be the successful seller for ANY bid, unless it was less than 500. The lowest seller that is under the bid price gets the sale.
