It's great. Try it out with a melee centric set, since whitecap brings you into melee anyways. I really like it with Necro. Otherwise I made a fire controller that uses it to great effect as well.

Foldspace, and electric fences.

I triple box MMs from time to time. I originally got the concept from @Neiska back when she was using tribox robots on meteor maps. I have Bots (Time, Elec, and Kin), and Necro (Double Dark and a Marine). I definitely recommend at higher levels having Incan on at least one of your mm's to have. Fold space on someone is also very helpful.

Soul Drain is 30 second duration across each AT that can use it. The recharge of the power varies from 120 seconds base to 240 seconds base (soul mastery patron power). Soul Drain in Dark Mastery was changed to Spirit Drain several updates ago making it a 15 second duration instead of 30 seconds, while the base recharge stayed at 120 seconds and it became a TAOE instead of a PBAOE. Spirit Drain is unable to be made perma anymore due to the changes. Soul Drain in Soul mastery was never able to be made perma. soul Drain in a primary/secondary power set was unaffected and still can be made perma with enough recharge.

At the end of the day it might not move the dial that much, and given that there's a lot more Powerset combinations for more traditional AT Powerset types, HEATS and VEATS will always have less people playing them. That said I've had some people tell me flat out that they wouldn't play a Peacebringer for example because the shape shifts and powers are too bright. Maybe more color choices might get one person here, or another person there to play them because it then fit the concept they had better and who knows maybe that's the deciding factor. I'm all for people having more agency to express themselves or characters.

Disclaimer: The following is cosmetic only aimed at improving player agency. If I had updated statistics I'd provide you with empirical evidence that Peacebringers and Warshade are still two of the least played archetypes in the game. That was definitely true the last time Cipher released Powerset stats to the forums in 2020, and still "feels" true today. Powerset Customization was once thought of impossible until Matt Miller and crew figured it out in i16. In i25 it was carried over to Kheldians albeit fairly restrictively. I propose to give Kheldian Power Customization the Standard Color Palette. It would be a simple matter to implement, and give players more agency for how they want to play their characters (and allow some people to use more muted colors to potentially tone down some.of the more vibrant animations). That's all I have for this one. Just trying to keep it light hearted and purely cosmetic. Thanks folks.

The biggest issue I see making a bubble CM won't allow you to stack it on people.

Just a quick public service announcement, never 3 slot hasten. 2 lvl 50+5 Generic Recharge IOs is the only way to go. Don't waste a slot that you can easily save.

Kheldians have drawn me in again.I don't know what it is about them, I just can't put my tentacle on it...But during the great darkness that lasted 7 years, the characters I most often thought about were Kheldians. I mean the lore built up between the war was just top notch (albeit unfinished, looking at you Battalion and Twilight's Son). Maybe because I often gravitate in games to classes that involve shape shifting, or my interest in space as an amateur astronomer, but Kheldians have always had a special place in my heart. Yeah they have some shortcomings as we can all agree on (mez protection, maybe some end drain resistance *seeing as they are energy beings, and a higher damage scale/max damage), but damn if they're not some of the most interesting characters you can role. I wish the lore/impact of Kheldians was more integrated throughout the game, as their absence red side never made much sense given that Kheldians have been all over the earth for thousands of years. But I decided to log in my PB the other day and hopped on some missions and I'm drawn back in (despite my PB/WS having largely been shelved while I've been making tons of other alts. So I just wanted to quote Independence Day, and let you know I'm back. Hope to see more Kheldians in game soon.

If Hasten were an auto power it would function like this: every 450 seconds it would apply a non-stacking 70% recharge buff that lasts for 120 seconds. It still hits you for an end penalty. The difference now is it's an auto power. And to make it balanced you can't slot recharge reduction enhancements in it, so perma Hasten is no longer possible. Is that something you really want?

Could always do something like: /bind shift+lbutton, "powexec_location cursor Teleport$$powexec_toggle_off Bright Nova$$powexec_toggle_off White Dwarf" That way when you use the bins it makes you human first then teleports you to wherever your cursor is pointing. This allows you to inner light, tp, dawn strike, and then in to your rotation to soften a group pretty well.

Seriously go Dark/Elec Defender. I have one and it offers a ton of damage mitigation (via tohitdebuff, -damage, end mod, disorient, and slow), and also offers some pretty hefty -res and -regen. Oh yeah it also has a heal if necessary but once built out likely won't need to. Mine decimates mobs and can tank AVs, l well enough that I have provoke in my build.

@GM Crumpet wanna toss this post into the Tanker sub so this new player can get the help they want? @Bilirubin take your time, use enhancements and make sure they are level appropriate, and make sure your difficulty (ie. -1 x1 up to +4 x8) is set commensurate with what your survivability and damage output can handle. Often times it takes time to ramp up for a player to start bumping the difficulty and mob size they face solo. Also if you need you can disable bosses when solo to make them LTs. Typically tankers will work on enhancing their damage mitigation to hit their goals, and supplement their attack chain with temp powers from the Start Vendor until they get to a level where they have enough attacks to round out their attack chain. Use your inspirations, they are cheap and significantly can boost you albeit temporarily. See : Best of luck out there. o7.

I got inspired by the Tanker Tuesday project that I missed the boat on due to my limited playtime for a stone/weapon tank. I leveled this one independently of TT, but I'll likely bring it by as I rotate a lot of my tanks through there. Stone took everything but Granite, and Axe only chop, pendulum, axe cyclone, cleave, build up, and taunt. Otherwise I worked in tar patch as well, a long with all three -res procs. FF procs in cyclone and cleave have been enough to leverage perma Hasten in use at mid levels. This thing is pretty fun so far. Anyone else play stone/axe and have any insights you want to share? Mine is working on unlocking incarnates and accolades now.

Captain America: Brave New World
SeraphimKensai replied to Excraft's topic in Comic, Hero & Villain Culture
Haven't seen it, but a friend of mine that even like Morbius thought BNW was trash. That said I'm sure the best Brave New World will always be Huxley's BNW (such a great book). -
Tanker: Elec/DM, Dark/ElM, or Shield/DM?
SeraphimKensai replied to Shadowstormprime's topic in Tanker
Typically I go the fireball route if I'm going to reach for melt armor. Otherwise gloom, dark oblit and darkest night are hard to beat. My current tank project is stone/axe/dark to get tar patch, but I have an annihilation in nightfall as well for more -res. -
Tanker: Elec/DM, Dark/ElM, or Shield/DM?
SeraphimKensai replied to Shadowstormprime's topic in Tanker
Surprised I've been included in the so-called Justice League. I'm probably more JSA material. All jokes aside... Between the three potential toons I personally would go with Dark/Elec. I'm probably biased as I have a dark/elec controller and an elec/dark blaster, and a dark/elec defender all incarnates that I dig. I have lvl 50 tankers with all the power sets in question kinda mixed and matched. Shield/Dark I think is overkill on flooring the enemy's chance to hit. That said Souldrain/AAO is really nice.. likely even better with tar patch from dark mastery. Elec/dark stacks resistance and adds tohit debuff, souldrain and the ilk. Again a nice option. Dark/elec as the OP pointed out stacking OG and Lightning Clap/Thunderstike is a quick way of stun locking pretty much all non AVs. That in itself is a huge damage mitigation to not only you but the whole team. IOs can be taken to reduce end use think unbreakable guard for end discount and gladiator's armor for end recovery. If it's still an issue musculature radial. If I were to build this I'd probably work in tar patch too, or darkest night for further team mitigation. This one would likely be my choice. -
That's your choice, but the ITF in cimerora is one of the best written task forces in the game, and honestly a lot of the content in Cimerora is pretty good, and ties into the lore of how your character eventually becomes an incarnate post 50. If there's some confusion about having to complete a mission you took, you can talk to the contact and choose to abandon the mission. Then go talk with your other contacts.

It was a fun opportunity to dust off the dark/stone challenge tank we built a few months ago.
-
Hahaha. Although I'm reasonably knowledgeable I'm at the beckon call of my 2 year old, so I'm not the best to lead any team as my attendance can be cut short. That said it sounds more fun at 1 star than otherwise, but I get were limited by our turnout (of incarnate tanks).
-
1 star LGTF?
-
Don't forget to take soul mastery for darkest night if you want more survivability as it has tohit debuff and -damage.
-
You're more than welcome to try, but bring an unslotter with you and a lvl 50 generic end redux for afterwards.
-
Wet ice you can only slot with either end redux or recharge redux. People typically universally slot it with 1 generic end redux IO.
