I typically form my own with the goal to get it over as soon as it's done. Otherwise if I wake up on the weekend early enough where I'm the only person awake on the server I'll occasionally triple box synapse for double merits and just fly through it as fast as I can only logging the alts in for Babbage and the king. -
I typically don't publicly release builds, but I'm more than willing to help you update your build. If you'd like you can send me a copy via forum DM, and I'll review. If you have particular build goals, power choice restrictions, or content that you would like to focus on you can also let me know. Additionally if you let me know what kind of budget you're working with I can cater my suggestions based on lower cost builds, otherwise I default to sky's the limit. Additionally if you're on Everlasting if we can coordinate a time, I'm more than willing to load mine up and throw it at a meat grinder and you can see what you like or don't like. As this particular toon uses teleport to travel and also makes use of darkest night, so that might not exactly be your play style, but it can be easily modified.

Thanks for the insight. I've honestly been leaning fire/marine and elec/rad. I figure shifting tides would work nicely with three imps, and help give them more resilience. TB would definitely help with running HF. All the buffs/debuffs seems very appealing to fire control, and smoke helps control when the engagement begins. I've only played Marine to T4 on a Necro/Marine MM. If I do the elec/rad (which I had the defender version of rad/elec on live which I loved) I'd build for melee and probably go Mu Mastery as power sink, charged armor and ball lightning would help out the build. Knowing me chances are I might just make more than 1 as leveling isn't near the chore as it used to be. Otherwise I have enough IOs in my storage to outfit whatever I make as I go.

Mind giving me a boost? This new character of mine only needs 100 vet levels. It's currently in character creation but should be in Zigg in about 2 hours. No idea how to get out of my cell after that so I'll need you to come to me and get me to your farm. But to the OP, seriously HC has been up since 2019, a lot of us have had lots of time to get to the max level and get a ton of vet levels. Some people consolidate it over a main toon, while others level up a ton of alts. -
Greetings, I'm trying to decide my next controller between the subject sets. I'm open to a lot of build flexibility and have currently 4 elec control toons and 4 fire control toons. I've been stirring with the idea of combining either control set with these support sets. What should I make and why? Thank you.

Fire/dark controller with sorcery. Fire/dark can work well enough especially with imps attacking mobs in tar patches. I wonder how that combo would work with a kb to kd enhanced water spout from leviathan mastery, especially with running hot feet/bonfire in tar patches as well.

I've felt that the HC team does a pretty good job overall answering questions/responding to comments already within the forums here and discord. Sure they can't address every forum post, nobody could not even Cuppa Jo from back on the Live forums before she left, but they weigh in on quite a bit and keep a pretty steady observation on the game.

Honestly I've never seen this power combination and it seems like a cool idea. Well the heal and damage boost of EA won't affect Sing, they should chain off it to also hit you. You'll be able to place faraday cage in a corner and wormhole mobs into sing/the cage and go to town. Sure you're not winning any damage races, but overall I think if controllers are your jam you'll have a lot of fun.

Options to Auto Consume Inspirations

The only way this suggestion works is if it auto pops your inspirations in your tray as soon as you get them (like at the vendor or a in a base/safe area). Otherwise let players keep agency and be able to choose when to pop an inspiration themselves. -
Sorry for the delay in response. This build only manages to softcap positional defenses when the Support Hybrid is up, so that's 2 min up, 2 min down. So when you're down, you're positional defense are around the mid 30's and not near or at non-incarnate softcap level of 45% If you are willing to slot several winter sets, both sets of ATO's, a little frankenslotting, and go to scorpion shield, you can chase typed defenses and get them to ±45% for all except toxic, and, psi without needing agility, barrier, or support to get the defense there. This frees you to go after ageless radial for more recharge (and higher dps) + debuff res, musculature for more damage, and assault for a hybrid for more damage again. That works well for non-advanced difficulty content.

I fully agree on that front as well. Short Circuit is awesome. I haven't tried my elec/nin in 4 star content myself, but I'm usually rocking a fire/cold corruptor or a tank when I'm running advanced mode stuff.

4* content implies barrier cycling amongst the team. I also play an electric/ninja, so I'll take a look at the build when I get home. I believe I went with a typed defense approach myself.

GWW and Kronos will not fight each other natively due to how their factions don't fight each other. That said if you boot up a sandbox server for yourself you should be able to use dev powers to get them to fight.

The answer below is generalized and applies to any similar questions asking the best slotting of a particular power given that power has the option of accepting IO sets.... It fully depends on the individual character's collective build. Will a particular set get you a performance benchmark that you want/need out of the toon? Will the set bonuses be useful? If not then would proc bombing an attack can be useful? If not does the power need additional slotting? Could any spare slots be reallocated to other powers to hit performance benchmarks the build needs to improve overall slot efficiency? In specific regards to EM Pulse. It has a base 300 second recharge and accepts hold and end mod IOs. Do I need to use slots for a performance benchmark (e.g. 4 basilisks gazes for a 7.5% recharge bonus, that is unique from lotg 7.5% recharge bonuses, in the goal of same perma AM/perma Hasten)? If not then I'm likely just sticking a +5 generic recharge IO in there, maybe 2 if I have the spare slots? Chances are more likely I have a more useful power selection lined up to be honest. Just a little food for thought.

Personally on a corruptor I like fire blast over dark blast primarily due to scourge interactions with rain of fire. I do like dark blast, but typically save it for defenders with a higher buff/debuff modifier to get more out of the THD.

A couple points: Kheldians are symbiotic space entities that need a host a survive, this bonding with humans and granting them powers. Also as a bonus Bio Armor was originally called Symbiotic Armor back in closed Beta and then name changed to be Bio Armor due to the likeness of the name Symbiotic with Marvel's Symbiotes. So given that Kheldians exist in-game, you have 2 player classes: Peacebringer or Warshade to play with having an alien symbiote. Or alternatively can roleplay Bio Armor (or something like Dark Armor) as a symbiote as well.

Snarky you've heard me praise ice/cold/dark in the begone era of perma soul drain when you chose to also roll one. Even without perma soul drain due to the spirit drain change, ice/cold is still a damn good toon. That said fire/dark is also a damn good toon, and so is elec/dark as well. I wonder if there's any primary sets that would make dark miasma run like garbage. Probably not.

Holiday 1 Billion Inf* Drop Ship Kill Shot

I play on Everlasting and don't need the influence, but I'm curious have you noticed any data trends in what kind of AT/power sets have been getting the kill shot? For instance I find dropping something like ice storm, blizzard, sleet would greatly increase one's chance of winning. Has that been the case? -
There's synergy as well with dual pistols especially using chem rounds that reduce a target's damage output, as that reduces the need to heal your team/self. Also Empaths have 3 pbaoe powers that affect the self and any allies smart enough to move into melee range of you. I used to main an EMP/nrg defender for years (PvP) so jousting RAs is a thing, I used to do it all the time. If you're willing to be mobile enough to joust, then I'd say beam rifle perhaps. Otherwise I'd probably go with DP.
