Jumping in to solo the AVs sounds like something I would do, hopefully I haven't been rubbing off on who I guess is CZ (given the fact that you said controller and he). Hopefully someone got a Provocation this time.

I swear when you recruit for a team you must be advertising it as something akin to "MoMC LFM, must be on a PLed toon with no experience and be new to MC, additionally bad builds preferred, and bonus points if you don't even know what a build or a "master of" run is". Then once you have them on a team you have them sign an NDA and let them know you'll be posting about them on the forums.

Controller combos worth consideration: Plant/Storm Plant/Trick Arrow Plant/Nature Fire/Eec Affinity Fire/Thermal Fire/Kinetics Illusion/Rad Illusion/Poison Illusion/Traps Illusion/Dark Electric/Trick Arrow Electric/Poison Electric/Storm Gravity/Storm Dark/Dark Dark/Rad Dark/Storm Looking over this list it's clear I have a preference for secondaries which leverage some form of debuff. I have 12 of these built out and added a couple other variations that seem interesting.

You're absolutely right that you can build to compensate for it in most non incarnate content. It gets tricky when exterior defense debuffs comes into play, and playing incarnate content and higher (but at that point most people are coordinating barrier).

I tend to avoid SS on a defense based toon due to rage crash chipping away at your defense and possibly causing you to get overwhelmed. Ice armor you pick honestly everything.nyou can get by without hibernate, but it's nice to have.

Evening everyone. I made a new alt and decided to make it a teleporter, so naturally I made some basic teleport bind like powexec_location cursor teleport and powexec_location target teleport. But then I was thinking how far could I take it....so I made 18 teleport birds on numpad having them teleport based on degrees (powexec_location 90:30 teleport, or powexec_location 335:max, etc.).each with a short/long tp, with 5 going up. The initial TP works in any direction, but if I hit numpad 6 to tp to my right, but it orients my character to face to the right now. This makes pressing numpad 4 not being me back to where I was, but move to the left of the new location (which would be forward from my original position similar to how a knight moves in chess). I suppose I could do rolling bind files to readjust the direction of the teleport, but I wonder if there's a way that just wouldn't change the direction I'm facing to make the process more streamlined. Anyone have any ideas? As usual thanks.

There's more player agency with the Superman equivalent character dead. There's a reason for heroes to flock to Paragon City without his presence.

@Snarky Elec/Ninja blaster is amazing. Pretty easy to hit your typed defenses, and you get Shinobi for your stealth (while pairing an unbounded leap or celerity stealth proc). Plus you can use blinding powder or smoke flash to be thematic for stealth. Also given your preference for dark related toons, obviously dark black/red lightning. If you're building defense, and have a procd short circuit with a couple end mods in there, most mobs will get drained flat, and whiff their few attacks they get off on you given your defense. Then you can pull out your sword, because you can. For even more tom fuckery, ice mastery app, toss on a snowstorm to slow their recharge to shit as well. You'll be a huge damage mitigation asset to your team keeping mobs drained and slowed, while having pretty damn good damage. Additionally you get frozen Armor, hoarfrost, and hibernate too. You'll be a pretty resilient stealth blaster.

Was thinking the same thing when I saw that list. OP: yes there are maps that are inaccessible to players. There's parameters which can cause a map to be displayed under search or not.

Just wait til you get around to making a Dark Armor/Stone Melee Tanker, and are running 13 toggles, and using high endurance costing attacks.

Don't forget +max HP, and leaning into the absorb/regen of bio as well. Also slow resistance is very helpful to protect your clicks. -
Sure I suppose. On the condition, that those slots you gain that are unconnected to any powers, directly reduce the number of slots that you have available to ones that are connected to powers.

No hypothetical needed. There used to be a bug that allowed PBs to get infinite slots, to the point someone one shorted Hami The player base and original dev team unanimously agreed having more than 6 slots in a power was a bad idea.

For influence, I typically "farm" that via the Auction House. It's much more efficient than fire farming but requires a bit more coordination and planning. But you can make a S&L damage based farmer if you don't want a fire farmer. For farm missions you design the toon based on the mission, so if you want EBs or not has to be addressed, along with difficulty of mob, what powers they have, which map is used, whether it's ambushes/patrols or not. Then you have to decide between a Tanker/Brute or a different AT for that matter (or whether you are using multiple accounts for farming at the same time).

I don't think there's such a thing as an OP archer in the game unless we're not talking about Archery and only talking about either Trick Arrow or maybe Tactical Arrow.

Thoughts on Fold Space Etiquette on Leagues and Teams

The approved etiquette of using Fold Space is to: Look for @SeraphimKensai or any of his alts. If present stand next to him then pop off Fold Space. Failing SeraphinKensai's presence, then you do you. Seriously though if you have melee on a team, a Warshade, or anyone with something like soul drain, fold space to them. Nothing worse than popping eclipse, stygian circle, or soul drain and magically not having the density around you that you had a split second before. -

I have an arse/sonic that I like. I agree though that I've never seen an earth/sonic domi. It could be an interesting project pairing. There's enough control in earth for you to cc and lay into your targets, and the sonic res debuffs will help stoney hit harder. -
I'd suggest plant/storm or plant/poison. You get tons of control, damage mitigation, and decent controller damage with plant. Storm gets you a team friendly stealth that also gives res/defense, debuffs, and a lot of damage output with tornado/lightning storm (place a kb to kd IO in your tornado to help your son playing melee). Poison gets you some of the strongest debuff powers in the game and really leans into just softening everything up for your pets/carrion and son to demolish. Other suggestions would be illusion/rad (a classic) or dark/cold (more control/debuffs, and also defense shields/more HP for your son). Also Dark Affinity is pretty amazing of a set.

I did a lvl 1-50 Praetorian run with an Electric Armor/Ice Melee Tanker solo. It was pretty fun. Eventually though I did bring him over to Primal Earth as it felt weird to only be able to do SBB and AE missions if I wanted to team once he was 50 and IO'd.
