This was one of my favorites and soooooo true.

For a SR/Dark theme, my new guy's origin is he was trapped in the Netherrealm, hunted by a monster and over the course of his time there learned to be super agile and when he finally defeated the monster, he took it's dark powers.

Is that what Elmer calls it?

Kinda answered it yourself there. Me, personally, I don't think anything he does is for anything other than to garner attention (usually the bad kind). He's constantly proven wrong, never relents and comes back again and again with the same "the sky is falling" drivel. To put it more succinctly:

I played on dial up til 2008. It was fine mostly, but a TF would see me get DC'd at least once when a lot of things were going on.

Bring a high level character in, lead the low level team, teleport them all into the middle Perez Park's maze and quit the team. Sink or swim, baby!

So, I've gotten my Ice/Regen Brute to 50+1. Solo, it's butter unless I run into a particularly tough EB or AV. On teams, it can feel hit or miss, especially if everything was purple to me. Ice Patch is definitely the game changer since slipping foes are foes not whacking me. Does it feel as survivable as my other Brutes? No...ish. I don't have to really worry much about damage type since damage is damage and I'm just healing it up. Alpha Strikes, however, can be brutal. Dull Pain is just under perma, MoG has @80ish seconds cooldown and Ice Patch has a very short cooldown. I feel the struggle most against enemies that resist knockdown...like damn near everything on an ITF. Also, a fast moving group can negate the viability of an Ice Patch so I'll feel a bit of my usefulness negated at times. Overall, I've had fun playing this one (wish Regen had endurance drain resists, though...c'mon throw a bone, devs) and will take it to at least T4 Incarnated. It'll probably get shelved after that, which is a shame. Regen definitely needs some loving.
