I made a Stalker (first I've ever taken past a starter zone) over the holiday and got Shadow's Edge, which surprised me.

Why is it that few people seem to read the entire post?

Skyhawke replied to Diantane's topic in General Discussion
All I know is that the population is/has been/will be dwindling, the game is weak, not one player actually likes the game, nobody knows how to play properly and everybody misunderstands certain posters. See? Some of us do pay attention to what Diantane says. Now, that being said: -
1. Lets the poor guy rest, he's paid his dues for almost a century, 2. His absence helps pave the way for our characters to become the new "greatest hero" (in their respective universes).

Far side of Night Ward, to Atlas, using only the walk power (uphill both ways, naturally). THAT is how real heroes train up after a mission.

Finished Peebles Missions in Striga and Didn't get Wedding Band
Skyhawke replied to LaRowen's topic in Bug Reports
Sad to say, this bug is still in full swing. I did the Peebles arc recently, got sidetracked into a TF, came back and finished it at 29. Heracles was green to me, so I did get xp for him. At the end of the arc, however, no ring. I put in a support ticket and am waiting to see if that bears fruit, but it is a bummer when you do the thing and don't get the reward for the thing. I sincerely do NOT want to do all of those "defeat all"s again in Oro. -
Go. See. This. Movie. I went in ready for the average schlock and by the end had a huge smile on my face and a tear in my eye (shut up, I did). It has it's moments where you kinda know what's gonna happen, but that's any movie these days. What got me was how fun it was all the way through, the quest to save Christmas (loves me a good quest) and the heartfelt (and yes, sappy) way it hits at the end. God, I miss when we had fun movies that just made you feel good inside. Highly recommend this one. Don't dissect it. Don't go in expecting Oscar bait. Go in and enjoy. Be a kid again and just enjoy.

Wait...a dark/dark controller...on a Positron TF...things went awry, but came together in the end...were you on a team with Snarky?

I think part of the reason those of us that've been here a good while don't think much about those prickly types is we've 1 starred them or just remember names so we know who to avoid. Plus we've hit a point where we know we can just leave if things get too squirmy and easily catch another TF/Raid/whatever. Newer folks might not feel comfortable jumping a sinking ship and end up riding it out with not so great people.

They outsource it to Carnival Ride Operators. Even Longbow doesn't want to mess with those guys.

Oooh, shots fired. 🤣

Happens from time to time. Whenever I do the full Atlas story arc (more fun than a DFB, in my opinion) and pop out in that area, I always swing by to see if any are there for me to...arrest.

Well, vampires can't come out in the afternoon so we know what type of delight you aren't. 😁

How bizarr..oh...I get it.

Yeah, but think about it. He's the New Gods version of Death. Dude rolls up as you're breathing your last. "I am here to ferry you to the other side." 'On space skis?' "On space skis." '...Let's do this.' (Sounds of whimsy and merriment echo into the ether.)

It's like driving to and from work. Everyone is cruising along and here comes that one asshat that thinks they own the world. Do you remember how peaceful the drive was before and after that jerk came along? Nope. That dillhole is now on your mind for the rest of the day. Even just one instance a week of this will leave you with a "my commute sucks" attitude. I know this because that's been me before. This community is like that. Overall, it's buttery smooth, but a few jerks will crop up. I've found that the perceived plethora of bad people is usually just a few with lots of alts. One starring certain accounts ingame helped me see that. Tl;dr: 95% good, 5 % bad Don't let the 5% muck up your day.

Good grief, yet another asinine topic by Diantane. Time to exercise the old /ignore muscles.
