Take a power with knockback (yes, I said knockback) be it either native to your power sets or something like the Nemesis Staff from the START vendor. Go to Atlas Park. Find Lvl 1 Hellions on rooftops. Target said Hellion(s). Attack. Enjoy.

Love, love, LOVE the Wedding Band and yes, this part of the TF is a great use for it! First TinPex I did was on my Ice/Elec Brute that, until that point, could take on amything. Got humbled quickly and learned the lesson. Subsequent TinPexes taught me that most PUGs will zerg that part and my goal is find the pilon, inspiration/temp power up, attack pilon, run as soon as it drops: rinse/repeat. Hasn't failed me so far. 😁

Only if it's a team of Peacebringers and Energy/Energy Blasters. 😁

My uncle played on live for years and plays here on Homecoming. He plays old school, doesn't do inventions or sets and just uses SOs as the end all be all of enhancements. He would have clue zero about Null. It happens. I bet he's not the only one, especially with the influx of new players we get around here. Never assume, verify.

Or, maybe it had been a slow burn annoyance that was let go for awhile because, for the most part, people try to be polite and not rock the boat. Then, it finally hit the limit and polite turned to not polite. If that: Fair? Not really. Understandable? Yeah. Sounds to me like both parties could've handled that flash point better. The only difference is one had the ability to boot and did so. I'm loathe to say "sucks to be you" because it comes off as rude and that's not how I want it to sound. So, I'll say it didn't go your way, you felt slighted, but in the end it was out of your control and not worth letting it harsh your mellow. Maybe next time a quick "Hey, I use group flight but a quick trip to Null the Gull in Pocket D can stop it from affecting you". Heck, you might even teach a newbie a thing or two and quickly squash someone getting bristley 3/4 through a TF.

Oh boy, does it ever! I'm running a Staff/Elec Brute lately and have fallen victim to the "Hey, why am I floating and why am I now floating away really fast and now I'm way out of melee range" syndrome. Life ending? Nope. Annoying? Yup. Again, a quick "Hey, mind if I turn on group fly?" would've been appreciated. The Tank asked if GF could be turned off because it's messing with the melee folks and the MM turned it off.

Sometimes those are the most fun things to be a part of. Just hang on for dear (un)life and hit what whatever you're told to. It feels utterly chaotic until you realize that the team lead (and probably a couple others) have this down to a science. You blink, it's the final boss and your stomach is still 4 mission maps back. Good times. 😁

Well, yes...however....

*Unwarranted Group Fly can be annoying to some, helpful to others. A quick "Hey, anyone mind if I use Group Fly?" and BAM, problem solved. Being proactive can solve so many issues people have in this game. *Another casual gamer may not 1. Know about Null, 2. Know why they suddenly are floating and 3. Enjoy having to take up their minimal gaming time to figure this out and trek to Null to fix it. *Being kicked from a team happens, sometimes for the most ridiculous reasons. Not worth getting into a huff over. *As other have said, you may want to make your own teams. Blackjack and hookers optional.

And yet, it was still awe inspiring to all of us on the team. 🤷♂️

Only high level, I believe, was the tank. The rest of us were mid 20s or lower.

Welcome! Have fun! There's lots of good (and often conflicting) advice to be found on these forums, so ask as needed.

Leader was a Demons MM. When I say this was utterly bizarre in how we just crushed them, I mean it was mind boggling. We had a MM, a marine Defender, a ss/invul tank, an ice dominator, a sentinel, an Arachnos Soldier, I think a Blaster and my Brute.
-
Actually, we had one person with Marine Affinity. I just think we hit them so hard and fast that the shadow clone was struggling to just be a heal bot.

I was lucky enough tonight to be on one helluva team for both Posi's, but the way we melted everything in our path through all the usual crazy parts of Posi 1 was something I haven't seen...maybe ever? I mean, the Vahz ambushes almost had you feeling bad for them as they marched into their doom. We cleared around the City Hall door and proceeded to demolish everything before it got out the door good. We go inside and decimate the two groups of COT. Someone asks "rush or pull?", we stand around for a moment then someone says "rush" and we do...and I swear I heard one of the shadow clones call out for it's mother. We swarmed them and just utterly destroyed them. It. Was. Beautiful.
