Where everyone says people pop over to say, Indom, farm up with 4x XP then transfer back to Excel. If a "special rewards" character was shard locked, nobody would do this. The point of more xp was to incentivize folks to play on lower pop servers, even if only part time. My thought is if you could have some alts on a lower pop server that get some nice rewards for being there, you'd play them at least some of the time. This would have shards see more traffic at times and possibly hook some into staying full time.

Two characters enter, one character leaves (because the other one is now on thesaurus.com to find a new name).

Is it possible to implement nice bonuses for characters created on lower pop shards with the caveat that the characters can't transfer from that shard? That'd kibosh the farming issue and maybe lead to folks staying on those servers at least for those characters. 🤷‍♂️

Statesman owed me twenty bucks then went and got himself killed. The Phalanx refused to pay his debt. Buncha welchers all! Otherwise, I don't feel hate for the Signature characters. They're kinda bland and we don't really grow attached to them like say a Fusionette or Tremblor. They're there while we're on our journey but just as trainers or TF givers. Super powered middle managers. We see Fusionette and Tremblor grow alongside us and it creates a sort of bond that the FP and Vindicators will never have.

Wellllll, isn't the Mapserver event known for a giant monster that (checks notes) does a lot of weird @#$%, with one such @#$% being lag/rubberbanding? Soooooo, technically...
