Farm fresh builds! *Farming focused builds and tips*
Without_Pause replied to Warlawk's topic in Guides
Since -res procs of the same one can't stack, is using two of the same -res proc in the listed faster farmer Rad/fire ideal slotting or would a damage proc be better? -
If I do non level 50 PuG teams, I meet newer or those returning players all the time.
-
Level 40 would be difficult for various build with the lack of slots and epic powers. The game's intent to me was to hit 50, so I see no reason to stop at 40 even if that was the ultimately temporary cap.

It matters if you are on a team. It also matters that it is a ST attack which again, can be an issue on a team. You are also talking to someone who doesn't think 3 second animations should exist in the game and sub 2 second ones, see Kat, should be the ideal. 2.244 arcanetime in a ST Confuse isn't that great when Ice Patch can be done in 1.567. To clarify, the ST nature of the Boggle tag is the issue. The Confuse part is fine. The greater problem is how poorly Insight is done so they hamstrung in Boggle with it so now two aspects of Psionic are underwhelming. Boggle is a slow animating pseudo BU with a ST Confuse aspect and it's a T7. Yay?

The issue is cast time.

None of the lights in the Carnival war mace are able to be colorized. (shakes fist)

Wait, why 47? Likely one of my top two, see sig. I could most get away with being 47 on the Fort though.
-
I honestly do my crafting and marketeering a bit out of the way. I use to use one of the Echo maps until I saw people coming in as well. Oh to be able to use the market inside of my base. I've only recently had people drop me 1 mil in influence. I take it and move on. People assume if you are on a low level character you need money. In reality, I've likely generated something like 7 trillion in the game.

I keep my Claws/wp because it is a reroll of my most sentimental build from live. It is my main on HC. My namesake here. If I had to start over in a day 1 type of way, Claws/ea Scrapper. I don't think I have the energy to go and level it enough to fix the Incarnates which need to be reworked. I still had fun getting it to where I did. As listed on my sig, it has been my 4th favorite to get to 50.

Is there a Brute Tier List similar to Croax's Stalker Tier List?

That out of the way, I can't seem to be able to change the color of the light in the Carnival mace options. -

Very Netflix's Arcane inspired. There's a tech shield were you can't tint the transparent part of it. Outside of the pure energy shield, the best looks are all very grey. -
So the added end redux is there and you can skip out on recharge as SR offers recharge by default. Been since live since I ran a SR character, but my default is 1 end redux in attacks and toggles. I don't think end issues were all that noteworthy when I soloed and I have level 25 commons. It was a Kat/sr Scrapper. Again, if you are soloing bigger mobs, that means more inspirs which can be converted to what you need more of.

I keep looking for something to pair with Shield on a Tank. I have a definite look I want to pull off, but I played around with it, and there simply aren't options to color certain shields in the way I would like, so I might just have to rethink the look. It would be nice to have an armor with +recharge, but that limits things. -
+1. Finally got a clean run on a big mobs farm as end issues had always seemed to kick in and detoggling led to a death which killed me and my time. Only have a couple T3s, one T1, still missing slots, etc., but there was that moment of satisfaction knowing that was my best time yet. The difference was going T1 Ageless to T3. Well, outside of not being Def capped against Fire yet and forgetting to down a purple on occasion. I also love just taking a character around solo and seeing just how far I can push it.

I would only slot level 50s in a power which needs 1-2 slots. 3 slotting is overkill. On a leveling character, I only slot level 25 commons.

Tinpex are two Incarnate Trials which are run consistently as the rewards are good for the time spent and often are done back-to-back, hence Tinpex. I team whatever I feel like. Reward Merits are likely most often used to get Enhancement converts. Go look at a Merit vendor to see what all can be bought. The most popular things to farm are fire farms. There are some for smashing and lethal damage. For Incarnates, start here.

StJ is better on a Stalker, but Bio is better on a Scrapper so I'm not sure there is that big of a difference. I might lean on Scrapper for this with it having a damage aura.

That build has two pets which aren't impacted by Fury as where said pets don't break Hide for Stalkers. Add in Elec getting a better ST attach chain on Stalkers, and yeah, Elec/shield is essentially worst on a Brute.
-
This actually depends on your intent. Are you soloing +0/x1 so you can do all the content in a single go with stopping? You want something with decent damage to get through each pack and move on. If you don't mind skipping mobs to further blow through content and keep XP low, that's where a Stalker shines. If you are just doing content to do content, Tanks can be better partly because they can take on larger mobs and since more inspirs drop, they can convert more of them to reds. In large enough mobs, Tanks target cap takes over. Damage type is also important. Soloing on my Rad/kat wasn't that great, but I switched to Rad/ice, and I'm happier. I think Dark/sr Scrapper would be the ideal unless you wanted to go Stalker partly because you get an end management power sooner versus a Tank. A Dark/sr Scrapper was the first build to 50 in a hardcore SG on live which I was in.

It was changed in Page 3 as well. Still agreed Hemo isn't worth taking.

I'm more curious on the /stone side of things. I have a build in the works, but I'm lazy and got distracted.

Also, one could really group sets based on types, ie blooms early/late, and list them that way versus tiers. EM might be amazing, but that's waiting for level 32+. -

I at least played this set on a Scrapper, but I tapped out in the 20s. There's simply too much waiting for attacks. Agreed it is one of the sets you need to get to at least 32 and dump recharge into it, but sitting and waiting for attacks isn't really something I want in a build using Fury. So, for a Brute it is lower for me.
