On my budget build, I went Spiritual Core, but my def isn't capped, so I do use a purple on occasion. I would likely go Agility Core if/when I want to go all out. Musculature is essentially there if you can cap Fire Def and want to do AFK farming. Interface is Reactive Core Flawless. Destiny is Ageless Core. Judgement is Ion Total Core. Hybrid is Assault Core. Lore can be rather open ended. I prefer the Radial side since one of the pets are untouchable. If they aren't, they will likely die rather quickly depending on things. I'm currently working on Carnie since the support offers +15% Damage and a heal. I would use Shards for the Alpha, and Threads for everything else. Shards are only used for Alpha. -

Not agreeing with you, but in his Hami raid video he talked about streaming Minecraft. Needless to say there is way more potential in streaming that versus CoH. I can't image streaming something for two years seven days a week unless it was my literal job. I'm pretty sure my wife alone would have words for me. Burnout was going to happen. Hell, there are days I log in for 5 minutes, check the auction house, and the log. The video honestly feels weird to go on about the stuff which includes something which happened roughly 18 months ago as part of why you are done but not really with CoH. He even says he has the urge to play but just not stream it. It would be telling to see how much he stopped streaming in general or if it was just CoH. I do agree it looks like he "led" the raid like he "led" his SG. -

He said he had never done a Hami raid back on live so this was his first one. I think his leading was forming the raid. I saw no real leading, but I can't see what is being said in game. A lot of people might have know enough to pull it off. If the raid info and chat is done via the server channel, then he was using that. P.S. I mostly scanned the video versus watching it all. -
You want it used so the DDR doesn't fail in the first place. It is more useful solo since you don't have support to back you up, but it completely creates fights in your favor.

You implied the reserve in your original post. Granted we are talking from my time on live, but I honestly liked my Ice/ice tanker and that was with level 25 common IOs. -

In short, he doesn't know how to run a massive SG or a streaming community. He also openly admits he went against HC's wishes. He shouldn't of had to deal with the hate he got, but sometimes you have to know what version of your personal time you want to take on. I led a group on live, and I have zero desire to do so now. -
Until you say in LFG that you are full, I assume you aren't.

You might need to use flashback to get all of the badges, but Mr. G's arc when he's part of Primal Earth stood out to me. Genuine hard missions at times and the final Penelope Mayhem mission was trippy. -
I've said elsewhere. but doing guides for trials/TFs, SFs, etc would be great. Speed runs are far too numerous and can leave a bad taste in player's mouths. Seeing a genuine break down of what needs to be done, trouble spots, etc would be welcomed. Any talk of how to do builds would be great. Just thought of how finding a way to talk to other players about their builds could be fascinating.

I have a solo SG with 6 salvage racks incase I need a character to dump a bunch of converters to my main for use, and I could honestly build many more as one character has near 700 Merits. 2.1k converters so I can convert purples over at the cost of a single converter. That's billions of currency on a single character.

If I felt like leveling Rad melee again, I would likely pick Stone/rad. I just think it is a really good solid build. My Rad/ice is Level 27, and I have been playing it near exclusively after I rolled it. I have been soloing it, but even with a mish mash of IOs, it has been great. I've died twice and once was before Ice Patch and the other I ran around a run herding, stopped, and went, "I'm gonna die," and I did. Even before Ice Patch, I could tell the situation was going to cause issues, but I was curious to see if I could get out of it. I did a hunt mission where things were +4/+5. I had no real issue with it. I'm at x4 or x5 for diff setting and will bump it up post IO upgrading at 27. I loved my Ice/ice on live and that was just basic Level 25 common IOs. DM with SR is practically cheat mode. I wouldn't play the build as I dislike click mezzes and Shadow Maul. I did get a /sr Scrapper to 50 on live. Any of my Dark melee builds ultimately get rerolled, but that's my quirk. If you like both sets, then by all means it will pan out in the end. -
I need to get back playing my Claws/wp since I have hardly played it after doing a final build. My currently lean is liking it versus loving it, but that might be due to playing EA so much and running into a BP map with WP and just watching my health bar melt in ways I didn't know could happen on a Brute. I feel like I like Claws on a Scrapper better for reasons, and have a Level 19 Claws/ea Scrapper as I think that might be the best take on Without Pause yet. v1.0 was a Claws/regen Scrapper. In terms of style and what works for me, I feel like I have down what works for me regardless of what others say and there are times trying out new things I get surprised by how much I start playing something, see a Fort and Rad/ice Tank. Some sets can vary widely depending on the AT using it. The build is from @ClawsandEffect. Unless I am missing something, the set bonuses in Synapse's Shock for Stamina and QR would be the same if you swap in Performance Shifters but also get 1.875% Health from each since you know have three slots of PS. You would be missing out on the run speed benefit, but being a HP Brute I would rather have more HP. I also took Strike instead of Swipe. They also said their live version of the build is softcapped to all types and S/L resistance is close to 80%. I haven't looked at attempting to add that in. Only P/T aren't capped on this build, and getting both to be capped seems like it would take some effort if at all possible. S/L resist is only 64% though so that can be worked on. At least that's what I'm seeing live. The point of the build is high HP and regen. I'll probably try out a few Incarnate abilities before deciding. Depends on what AT. I don't view Cap as a Stalker, but StJ is best there. The case can be made he's a Tank, but StJ's AoEs are on the small side for an AT which greatly benefits from AoEs. I love StJ but might reroll my Tank because of it. MA is better on a Brute and Tank since Storm Kick offers +Def. While MA only has one AoE, the radius on it is better than StJ's PBAoE. Shield is arguably the best armor going for a Tank. I just don't feel like Cap is MA. I would go StJ/shield Scrapper to get the most out of the +dmg from Shield.

SR has better Def numbers since it has no heal. How one expects EA to have similar numbers is beyond me. Like, hello it is called game balance. Yes, EA is harder to cap since it is type based, but it can cap many of those types. Not sure what "Just IOs" means as that could be commons or that could be going all-in. I've literally taken an SR(Scrapper) and EA(Stalker) to 50 using at best level 25 common IOs, and to call EA trash compared to SR is laughable. I even soloed the Stalker a ton and continue to take it through any and everything I can including all of RWZ. I also have a Level 36 EM/ea Scrapper I am soloing with and very few things have given that build a genuine issue and that's with uncommon IOs. I think only a couple of specific EBs gave it genuine trouble. Again, end is easily manageable and I push the diff setting as high as I feel comfortable with which has included +3. I would have to look up the team size setting. x2 maybe x3. Mostly because the build is still early and EM doesn't have great AoE. FYI, I run 9 toggles on my EA Stalker. End use is 1.78%. End recovery is 3.04%. To die on a hill because SR might use 1.67% is quite the take. -
I've played the game for roughly 9 years and doing speed runs of things while being my first experience with said thing is easily on the list of worst CoH experiences. It would be good if somebody started to make video guides to various trials and TFs/SFs.

Try one or two on a Brute. You can lean all the more on procs as Fury helps with damage by default. My Rad/bio is a death machine of orange numbers. -
I still haven't tried Inv even though everything on paper makes me think it will fit me quite well. I have a EM Scrapper at 36. Not a fan of TF's animation time. It has an unofficial combo system which leaves me going, "But why?" You need to hit 32 to have a decent ST attack chain unless you take the T1 early. It absolutely does overly good damage all things considered even if its style is a lesser match for me.

I tweaked a build another player game me as I found a couple of errors in it if I was seeing things correctly. I know they said they had a better version, but weren't using Mid's at that point so they didn't have a newer version of what they had. I might need to nuke my Incarnate picks. I might be able to put something together later on.
