I don't know the percentage of success, but from my game-store-owning perspective Kickstarter is a boon to board games and role-playing games (although I have reservations about RPGs but that has nothing to do with KS). The production quality has much improved since the days of cardboard counters, although the graphics on those had increased dramatically before KS. And RPG books look much better, but that might be in part to people paying attention to layout. You should have seen some cheap RPGs printed with dot matrix printers back in the 90s. *shudder*

Pay to have one of those protest signs to have your name. I said once, probably in some chat, that a "Save Sally" sign should exist as part of a protest emote. If the devs can figure out how to make various protest emotes then that might be easy to duplicate. I say this because I want a "Down with Ukase!" when you buy your mayorship of any city. 😄

While sitting in a hot tub with beauties all around? You'll have to define your own "beauties".

I like getting most defeat badges by myself so I street sweep a lot (no purple caves & no 5-layer cake room, go at my own pace). Some I get due to TFs, and that is okay. As for that raid, I prefer to solo that, too. But if someone else is there, or comes in when I'm already there, I'll leave and come back another time. I do wait for the Supatrolls to show up and get that badge first, then go after the ravers. Yeah, sometimes it takes 3 tries, but I'm not in a hurry.

Heck with that. I have a macro that converts most types into a red. You could convert 3 into a purple (defense or break free). "Tidy".. pshaw.

I hate Steam. If it was not required to play Civilization I would never ever use it. As it is, I have to reboot my "ancient" computer after playing a game because the Steam client will eventually cause my computer to crash. Maybe this is different than the current Steam thing, but I shall stick to my curmudgeonly hatred of all things Steam.

Yeah, I'd help with that, too. I would like to put sliders on the color chart. But I'm about 20 years out of date on newer computer languages. I did look at PERL and saw it was very similar to Pascal and C, so I could handle that after some dusting the rust off the ol' noggin'. 🙂 I have no idea what's under the CoX hood but sounds like lots of bailing wire and duct tape.
