Right. Picking flowers for your contact's lady friend is right up there. ðĪŠ I dislike gold side. I hate the factions and the attitudes. The only good thing about it is the updated graphics, which can be, and was beginning to, done to red and blue. Gold Hamidon can finish eating (or whatever he does) all of Praetoria, rename himself Gaia, and fade into obscurity.

For some, that's when the fun and games start. ð

Those stickers need to be gold stars. I miss getting those gold stars like I did in grade school, I was such a teacher's pet. I voted by mail so I don't even get a sticker.

Then you're luckier than me. I get the debuff over 50% of the time (more like 75%), or did, because I don't bother with those any more because of that percentage and the buffs aren't all that great anyway. I never take the secondary mutation because of the monkey thing. RNG hates me so why give it more ammo?

Focused Feedback: Other Powers Changes
gamingglen replied to Jimmy's topic in [Open Beta] Focused Feedback
What I want Eagle's Claw to do is have a much better hit chance. 95% is not good enough. Yeah yeah, RNG hates everything. It seems to hate Eagle's Claw the most, though. It's the most annoying power when it misses, even more than a Snipe or Assassin's Strike. When I hear that "thud" my blood pressure skyrockets, I yell obscenities at everything especially devs, and I have to count to 10 to calm down if I have the time but generally I have to fight those enemies now really mad at me (I'm surprised they aren't laughing instead ð). Grrrr. 10.. 9.. 8.. 7.. 6... Maybe this can't be done to the game engine, but borrow from D&D5 the advantage option: roll 2 dice and take the best result (yeah, I know D&D5 didn't originate it, but did make it more popular or known). Maybe this could be a unique proc, I'll stick it in EC every time. 5.. Another option: increase it giving a crit chance to later attacks, EVEN IF IT MISSES. 4.. 3.. 2.. 1.. 0.. -1 .... ah, I feel better now. Thanks for listening. -
"Sam the Bartender: Miss Liberty? Haven't seen her around. I saw War Witch upstairs, though." I hope you (devs) didn't forget to change Sam's line.

Focused Feedback: Blaster Secondary Revamp

"The game is balanced around hasten. Most ATs and power sets really need the fighting pool." Neither of these are true. -
What would you change aesthetically?
gamingglen replied to TraumaTrain's topic in General Discussion
One thing.. well, how about several very similar things? How about remodeling buildings and adding unique stores? I don't mind the sameness of Paragon City buildings. And one thing PC has over Praetoria is actual stores. I want to be able to enter Wizard's game and comic book store (can't recall the correct name) and compare it to my own store. ð So, when a PC zone is updated graphically some buildings can stay the same, others replaced by already existing newer ones. And, add one unique store to a zone, like Faultline has the donut shop and Yin's market. Make that unique store able to be entered and maybe have a repeatable mission inside. Some store's interiors already exist in missions: Lou's Garage, pawn shops, jewelry stores, so use those interiors for unique shops. And add a couple gas stations! -
Forget the tankers, they don't need it... put it on blasters (like me ð) , those players will shower you with praises! And blasters have the ultimate debuff: faster death to the enemy. ð

I like Croatoa and often use Ouro to do the entire 4 arcs, and get the merits rewards. ðĪ I like that those two missions are different. I want more different. But, those two could have the timer trimmed a little.

"Boot to the head" Despite my hatred of MA's power Eagle's Claw (hate the animation, the "thud" sound when it misses, which it does way way way way too often ..grrrrr *&$%(*&%*&^%(*#...) pant pant pant.. okay, I'm calm now.. almost... anyway, I do love the look when viewed from another angle, like this one, and I've been wanting to share it. This seems to be as good a time as any. Again, this was set up in Icon years ago from many screenshots until I got the one with the foot actually making contact with the target. I was working on a comic book at the time. This has her first costume (patent leather) which got changed later. Pretend the phone fell to the floor in video record mode. ð By the way, the villain's name is Brassman. Some people find that funny. ð

"Hey mom, things are going good here. I've made a lot of friends." Okay, I cheated. I had set this up in Icon several years ago. The character (the one up front in red) became my first main on Homecoming.

Yes, yes it was, especially in the back seat of my car in Januar... ...uh, never mind.

Neither AT can access the two-fists-together attack, though.

Don't ruin my birthday month. It's bad enough that it's 24 hours of darkness during the Halloween event. I want I could turn that (the 24h darkness) off. I like sunshine.

If you could radically overhaul 1 thing....
gamingglen replied to Galaxy Brain's topic in General Discussion
I just levelled a character and was upset I had to pick a power... So, change my ONE thing to change to: You can pick a power OR extra slots when you train up. Addendum: you get 3 slots per level starting at 25 instead of 31. -
Yeah, it feels about right: just me. ð

Okay, I recant my "you can't" statement. I do have a price. ðĪð (now I don't know if I should feel ashamed or hopeful ðĨ°ð )

Rolling a sentinel and I keep wondering why things are not dead yet after a few attacks. I strip it of whatever enhancements it has, store those, send INF to email, delete, reroll as blaster and have a lot more fun. Every time. I also cuss at the special ability of sentinels, every time they activate (why does the offensive one fire when that enemy is near dead, and the defensive one heals such a piddly amount?)
-
to the OP: You can't.

I must be more chaotic than I think I am. Or, may the saints be praised, I'm not afflicted with OCDitis. ð I put sets in any order, and even frankenslotting they'll be in any order. Except, I do try to keep each set together if putting more than 1 piece of a set when slotting multiple sets in a power.

I'd go with this. I like street sweeping, especially for getting defeat badges. 1) Quadruple the bonus influence you get for saving someone (or getting the one that runs away), and this is added even with P2W change of XP gain because it's not the normal influence you get for defeating the enemy. 2) Have the security officer of the zone give out repeatable missions for street sweeping, but it's random on the number needed: from 5 to 20, with starting at 5 there's a (low) random chance the enemy defeated divulges the information you are after and 20 is guaranteed (the chance increases with each enemy defeated). This can lead to an indoor mission (e.g., you learned where the kidnappee is being held, you learn of a pawn shop or jewelry shop robbery is about to take place, or where said robbers after the fact is hiding and stashing their loot). This could also give a Tip mission if you don't already have 3. 3) Have some NPC be an informant for your character, which could also lead to some of the same missions from 2 (but he might not always have it, which could be annoying I realize, but then go see the security officer). Yeah, some contacts are of that vein, but this one is variable to the character (more than origin variability). I guess this is like Tip missions, but I like the personal touch more than the near abstraction of how Tip missions are gained now. 4) Make more Tip missions, even for levels less than 20. I don't know why they made 20 the lower limit. edit: I forgot about the detectives of each zone.. but who doesn't want more options? ð Also, to create the interesting NPC contacts and cut down on develop time (hopefully) have a contest for players to make said characters with dialogue. This would make them more distinctive than having one or two devs create them. -
Investigation: Have YOU seen this Woman?

I see nothing wrong with this.
