That's true, I hadn't thought of that, but that makes me wonder: are the 4 stack limits based on the power choice, or the debuff choice? ...meaning if you just changed it to a Reactive clone with lethal damage instead of fire damage, would it be a stack of 4 Reactive and a stack of 4 of the new lethal interface or would it be a stack of 4 -resist debuffs regardless of Interface source?
  2. Hmm... what if lethal marked a target for a low chance at a mini crit? We already have resistance debuffing and -MaxHP to help push damage so I dunno
  3. If redraw is a thing for your character, SR will have you doing it a lot less.
  4. Well, that's a hard control, but I guess Confuse is as well, but I guess the main balance factor is always huge raids via iTrials and stacking. What magnitude hold? 2 perhaps? ...hmm... that could be used with the Hybrid that enables additional mag levels, which is interesting
  5. Yes you can stack kb, at least you always could, in PvE.
  6. I would love to see 3 more Interface abilities, addressing the lack of lethal/cold/smashing DoT options. The problem comes from having only so many debuffs available for creating those 3. A smashing DoT mixed with a 4 second stun makes thematic sense to me, like the Cognitive one (although I question the chance % being so low on Cognitive and Spectral - the confuse makes you lose xp and the immobilize is barely noticeable on Spectral as it is- it should be 4 sec IMO.) ...but then what? A cold DoT would make you think of slows and -rech but Gravitic already has that covered. Maybe slips and does knockdown? Problem with that is how knockdown is coded as a very low magnitude knockback, meaning if 4 stacks of knockdown hit an enemy I assume they would go flying - think of iTrial scenarios. Perhaps for the lethal DoT it could add a 4 second fear along the lines of Cognitive/Spectral, or perhaps a chance at placing a 'mark' on a target that combos into something - not sure, as we are running into a lack of debuffs we can use and also the soft control options. Thoughts?
  7. Acid Mortar is one of the best powers in the set. Perhaps the reason it has a lower debuff is because the thing fires 10 times in an AOE that also does damage. You can proc that thing up and that's 10 shots loaded with like say 5 procs in it. Personally even though I wouldn't mind this set getting some love, I would much rather have time spent on Poison.

    EM Performance

    Does anyone have an EM/Bio they could share? EDIT: Oh also, what about Dark Armor? Oppressive Gloom stun stacking with EM. Yes, that would make mobs wander around all the time but we are already talking about EM as it is...

  14. Pretty much most games' rules where you can whiff. Why should a person be rewarded for missing attacks or not penalized for missing attacks? Who says you shouldn't? Why?
  15. You mean Assault? You answered without knowing what my build is like so I was just curious if it's all about 'moar damage' automatically for you.
  16. That's kind of supposed to be how it works. If you whiff, there's going to be a downside on top of the missing damage. I know we can't control the RNG completely but this sounds like it's working perfectly to me.

  20. Help me decide on a Hybrid for my TA/AR defender Control Radial sounds pretty good. Support is okish as I already have Maneuvers and Tactics running. Melee Core could add some resist and regen - I run Clarion for Destiny if that helps.

  22. Made some changes to that TA/AR build. Got rid of all the proc bombs and just went with full sets of Sting of the Manticore, Bombardment, Annihilation, Positron's Blast. Ice Arrow I have a Basilisk's set in there right now but may eventually work towards Superior Entomb - not sure. Went with Combat Jumping and Super Jump instead of Stealth and Invisibility. Also changed the Synapse Shock to Power Transfer proc and end mod as I don't need to be able to run around and can SJ now. Instead of the Shield Wall proc I put the LOTG in there from Invisibility, so I did lose 5% resist with that. I took one slot out of M30 Grenade (the 4 attribute one) and put it in PGA, and put two purple pieces in PGA (Fortunata Hypnosis.) I may want to grab some unslotters and move the Superior Defender's Bastion to an attack as getting the AOE heal to activate a bit faster would be nice - Oil Slick takes a bit to recharge and I don't use it constantly. Otherwise it's the same. I was already working on this character so I had a tier 3 Cardiac to use at the moment - may just keep it as I am currently having zero end problems. I have Spectral interface and I think I will go with Drones for lore.
