There are certain powers or sets I believe should never miss but only because it makes zero sense to miss with them. Laser Beam Eyes or any power that shoots from the eyes would be one of them. It's like, wait...is my character cross eyed? How did I miss a target that hits whatever I am looking at? Or Psi abilities that fire from thought. That never made sense to me how that could miss either. If anything at all in game gets a 100% chance to hit (unless your character is debuffed) it should only be powers that make sense to have a 100% chance to hit. But giving all powers across the board a 100% chance to hit is a big no otherwise.

For some people such as myself, we get more enjoyment from a game when we feel challenged. We don't want it to be near impossible, but a challenge is nice.

That sounds too much like purposely gimping yourself which is something I completely disagree with.

It's called making sacrifices in one aspect of the game to achieve a goal in another. I have no choice since most ideas put out there were shot down...so it caused me to look in to other avenues. Besides, I also made the suggest that this only activate during Incarnate Trials.

Ugh...pvp has changed so much I can't even get in to it anymore. I even noticed slows or -recharge is a joke in PvP now. That counted my Ice/Cold out. Yet back in the day my Ice/Cold was no joke.

I understand your frustration. What I try to do in order to hit as many as possible is I target the center back furthest NPC, that way I know I will hit as many of them as possible. Frost Breath and Fire Breath has the same issue. So until the Devs add to the Range, that will be the best we can hope for I think.

I took my level 35 Beam Rifle Blaster to PI and shot at a level 50 CoT and it indeed showed miss.

I did not realize that was an issue that you were having. It was not mentioned before. I'll check it out and see if I can't at least figure out why it does that.

I would agree, however, toggles that survival depends upon such as Will Power's RttC or Invuln's Invincibility should be an exception. Toggles that only serve to damage on the other hand would not be the exception.

You should try out the mod I mentioned. It will make a bit more sense then. 😉

Or give it some slight aura rather than the purple shields.

I love mine the way it is. In fact, using my Terminator Plasma Rifle Mod with this makes sense to the way it looks. If nothing else, make it a pulse full auto beam instead of a constant beam and give it similar mechanics to full auto, just less damage and I think it's golden.

It's just something in case of power creep being a further issue and trying to cover that point before it's made an issue. Either way. I would have zero issues with any of these.

Power Creep probably wouldn't be such an issue if we confined the use of extra Enhancement Slots to Incarnate content.

No, people keep going back to that and I am just trying to keep things updated. Don't take offense to it, no offense is intentional. To be quite honest, I like you as a forum poster, we usually agree on things and see eye to eye, it just so happens we have bumped heads a bit in this thread. And to answer your question on how I am reading this thread, I just woke up and had a LOT of posts to read through, I have just been responding to them as I read them so that I don't lose track of which post I last read.

Or if we even grey out those enhancement slots and they only unlock when playing Incarnate Task Forces? There are ways around the balancing issues I think.

I thought we have moved past the costumes as being an option for gated items? Pretty sure we have moved on from that and are now seeking alternatives.

I think he is referring to me. He has been trying to engage in to conversation with me over the past couple of weeks now and I simply won't respond to him no matter what he says about me, even if it means that I do not defend myself against his false claims. I just let him say whatever and ignore him. He has a bad habit of making false accusations and argues with strawman tactics. I have learned that I simply cannot hold a conversation of any kind with him because of this, so now I let him say whatever he pleases about me and simply refuse to respond. He has a bad reputation of doing this on these forums and his opinion of our community and the HC Devs have been made clear. Simply put, I have absolutely nothing to say to the guy.
