If there was a way to reduce the screaming, growling and utter psychosis-inducing noise that the Mastermind Demon set makes, that would be a real QoL upgrade. I get that the Demons should be terrifying and beastly, but the sheer amount of noise they issue, makes it a real trial to game with this set - I usually end up turning off sound completely after 15-20 minutes or so. It doesn't need to be removed completely - just reduced in frequency by 60-70%.

It has been nerfed - it's just a long time ago :)

I had completely missed that :D You are my new favourite hero!

Great with an update - but something seem to have changed with the new version and I cannot find anywhere to switch it around. On previous version, when you hovered the mouse pointer over either a powerset or a slot with an IO, it would tell you which of the IOs were currently slotted - very useful when purchasing/crafting IOs for various builds. Now it seems I get effects of the individual IO + recipe build - or the total effect on the power by the slotted IOs. Anyone know how to get "old style"? I have been clicking around in the options but have not been able to spot anything that matched.

So if I do not put them back in my tray, I will get the full refund? Sorry, just trying to be sure I understand you. Back in the day, it told you how much you would be getting back for the refund, now it doesn't show, so I would rather make sure I know how this works now, before I do any respecs. If you put them back in your tray, you can sell to either vendor or at the Auction House - there appears to be no automatic sale anymore. If you don't put them back in your tray, they are deleted and lost. This has at least been the experience from the 4-5 characters I have run through respec in the past 2-3 weeks.

stone gets destroyed by praetorian resistance fighters and carnies. there is no do it all tank, there are only does-most-of-it tanks. Stone can be tricked out (including other powers) so pretty much only whatever weirdness the Vanguard Super-Duper-Spec-Ops Troops hand out gets through. But it's suuuuuper-costly :D

Just remember - no amount of soap will get the stains off your soul that working for the Efficiency Expert will leave :D

Rewrite Lt Harris's arc redside so it's not so offensive
Rhinoxx replied to GamerKate's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I agree on the GF issue - that is just a writing fumble that should be kept. Otherwise yes, its an evil villain arc and should be kept as it is - just like those nasty missions for the efficiency expert at Grandville - this is the closest we actually come to villainy in the game and it's healthy; maybe this is the part where your character thinks the grass actually IS greener in Paragon City and decides to go blue - or maybe, just maybe, he/she is an actual villain who's moral compass points directly to Hell? Offense is taken not given as someone once said - it's good to keep some of that around so we are reminded forcefully of how things also are. -
Yes please :) Also, kudos for a well-presented and argued point - that is very well done.

QoL: Consignment House maximum stacks increase
Rhinoxx replied to Arcanine's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
Just getting it double to 20 would be a start - I will take any increase on that front. -
I have not seen this issue at all after CoH came back, but over the past 2-3 days, I have encountered a massive amount of map server disconnects - this seems unrelated to how many people are actually logged on the server. Also, I have seen this both on teams and solo. Additionally, I have noticed (don't know if this is related) that NPCs walking by in the street are often moving in jerks - like their movement is not in sync with the server and they are hurried along to catch up somehow? This is also not something I have seen before. I have run some testing on my own connection and that seems to be ok - no lag to gateway or jitter in the transfer speeds. Anyone else seeing something like this?

Actually you can run Pines and Mids from a memory stick - I have done so in the past :) Basically install it at your PC and then copy the installation library to the memory stick.

Bio armor has no debuff res, is this intended?
Rhinoxx replied to MalphiteMeIRL's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'd agree with others - no need to add more to Bio - it's good as it is and if it gets more benefits, it will be overpowered. -
Bragging rights :)

I get superjump on a lot of toons - it feels like Hulk Parkour trying to hit rooftops and powerlines to maintain maximum altitude :D I set JKL keys as start jump, stop jump and turn off superjump - it's super effective J "powexectoggleon Super Jump$$up 1$$autorun 1" K "powexectoggleon Super Jump$$up 0$$autorun 0" L "powexectoggleoff Super Jump"

Who else did it? Who else remade their main?
Rhinoxx replied to StoneColdJoker's topic in General Discussion
well ... everybody I suspect? Is this a trick question? :P -
I like the idea of more body types - I think we would see quite a few Blobs and Fat Thors - but I could see some of it possibly breaking the costumes if you start to bulge or contract where it was never designed for it; there is already some serious clipping on some costume pieces if you really go HUGE! But I am all for it if possible - would be nice with even more variety.

I instantly had a keybind string in my head to use the RUN! shout and move to the panicky run for fleeing the scene ;D

Let us save power tray layout before respec
Rhinoxx replied to Robotech_Master's topic in Suggestions & Feedback
I'll second that - if that was possible it would be awesome. -
That doesn't sound like a bad way to do it - would that be difficult or break anything in terms of the game? I can of course see the challenge of having the right door for this so it does have a bit of narrative cohesion - if it wasnt already occupied, the portal inside the DATA section of AP city hall could be perfect :)

Corrected for accuracy. Again and again it seems like some players just want maximum power all the time and if that doesn't happen then everything sucks. As stated elsewhere in this thread, Alpha is the first of 6 slots and it mirrors your passage towards being a full-fledged Incarnate - you don't start out as Statesman but you can slot your way towards it over time.

So there is a consequence to having a huge damage bonus for 2 minutes and that's a problem? I would say that there is no real problem here - you rage out, get hit by exhaustion and have to take a breather before you can continue. Yes there is a tactical aspects to this where you have to consider pulling back from the fight for a bit, but I can say I never experienced that as a real stop for any end-game content and even if your defense gets hit, you hopefully still have Resistance? I get the desire to be all powerful all the time, but I can also remember a time when my tanker could herd an entire map into a dumpster and burn them to a crisp. Changes come - this one was and is not a game stopper.

Can we have a real moment? Is Homecoming SCORE 2.0?

issue 26 Patch Notes for May 30th, 2019
Rhinoxx replied to Leandro's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
The extra physics effects are on by default, you don't need to enable PhysX hardware support. That's the bit that requires a .dll upgrade that I don't want to do as long as we're sharing the game folder with other servers. Go run into a dumpster or mailbox and you should see junk flying out. Ahhhhhhhh - I have misunderstood that part all these years - I always thought there was some gfx upgrade that I was missing out on :D Thx for clearing that up. -
issue 26 Patch Notes for May 30th, 2019
Rhinoxx replied to Leandro's topic in Patch Notes Discussion
So how is PhysX activated? I have always been curious about that option - but under settings I can just see "PhysX Support" as N/A and no way to turn it on.
