The game's .anim files are *not* Maya .anim files.

I'd suggest resetting your graphics settings, to see if that helps. If you're using HCLauncher, click the 3 dots under the "Homecoming" profile, click Settings, then check "Reset graphics settings on next run" This will automatically uncheck after running so your settings save. If you're using Tequila, click settings, then in the launch parameters box add -gfxreset you WILL have to remove this yourself for any changes made to your graphics settings to persist on restart.

You can not create a channel on Discord with default user permissions. Also, this is about the best place to make this suggestion outside of Discord itself, and channels scroll by so quickly there, making it here makes the most sense.

The first prompt is for your base install path. The log path is set in the main window after setting the base path.

Where exactly did you point it the first time? Just the root of the install directory, or some sub directory?

Mid's BBCode export option does not work for these forums. IIRC Mids has an option for a link, or a non BBCode export (a hex dump or.. something?) Use those options instead of the BBCode export.

The default button is the Print Screen key ("PRT SCN" On mine) on your keyboard, if you don't have that key, the command is /screenshot, and you can bind that to a key by typing /bind [KEY] screenshot Example: /bind p screenshot Which will take a screenshot whenever you hit P

Those are most likely "level-less" spawns, usually tied to a GM spawn, they always con to your level, so a level 1 will see yellow / white as will a 50.

Eastern Canada to be exact The usual suggestion for odd network issues is to reboot everything, Modem, Router, and PC, that fixes it 95% of the time. Otherwise it's going to be an issue between you and the server, and sadly there isn't a lot you or the HC team can do about it.

You have to have the "Remember Account Name" checkbox checked for the game to save the playerslot.txt file.

The city rep site has been down for at least a year now, possibly two.

As a test I bumped $wgExpensiveParserFunctionLimit to 200, and it appears to have solved it.

I could try to raise the limit slightly as a test, but with the understanding that if it spikes CPU usage too much I'll have to drop it back down. Edit to add, this is a 8 core 3.2 GHz CPU, not like a RPi, 40-50% of this CPU is an insane amount, and the wiki has its own dedicated FPM pool.

Navigate to c:/Games/Homecoming/assets/mods/, and check the size of the hc_vidiotmaps.pigg, it should be 54,093 KB, or 52.8 MB. If it's not that size then something is likely interrupting the download, either AV, or a proxy or something.

Has the wiki been stable today (other than the 2 minute server reboot)? Just trying to make sure everything seems to have settled with the hardware migration.

Thanks, yeah the old hcwiki domain was broken in the secondary DNS system I use.. I didn't even know it was an issue until about 2 hours ago, and quickly fixed it.

The 2nd "restore" had nothing to do with the wiki, I had the instance on the old server locked to Read Only to make sure no one made changes there, the current instance is not locked Read Only, and has been fine to edit for a bit over 12 hours now.

Are you going directly to https://homecoming.wiki or were you using the link in the forums header under Wikis -> Homecoming wiki?

Out of curiosity, are you going to https://homecoming.wiki or are you clicking the link in the Wikis dropdown in the top header?

The uptime reports I run for the site all show no issues at all today. Someone else in another thread said that they had to disable secure DNS for some reason. Not really sure what would cause issues with secure DNS, but I see no issues with the webserver, or sites.

Ok, The Wiki has been up for a bit now, Read Only has been disabled. I'm keeping an eye on the server, it's running another restore so it'll be a touch slower than usual. Hoping this clears up when that 2nd restore is done.

HCWiki should be back up and stable!
