  1. There’s also an interface that does slow already… Gravetic(?) I’d think it should be a unique debuff for the 2nd effect.
  2. Can someone double check this? I feel like that’s not accurate but I’m going to bed now so can’t check myself.
  3. Thanks for your explanation, @Rudra I’m hoping a few more people will chime in with their reasons. i certainly don’t understand your reason, but I respect it.
  4. You are correct, and I wonder if that is what they meant?
  5. Can someone explain why there are so against drive-by buffing? I legitimately don’t understand what the problem is.
  6. Your title doesn’t help. If enemies have a 5% chance to-hit a specific target, then the chance that target gets hit “one consecutive time” has to be 5%
  7. I just did Maria Jenkin’s first mission earlier… it started off normally then I got to a spot where over 1/3 of the map was empty when there are normally enemies there.
  8. yeah, this math is wrong too. If enemies have a final chance to hit of 5% how do they have a 100% chance to miss *any* attacks?
  9. If I remember correctly, Detonator lost its countdown timer on pets when traps got its pass, so everything just instantly-explodes. also, if I remember correctly, detonator does more damage the higher rank pet you put it on.
  10. Armor sets already work this way, to an extent. Ice armor, for example, is weaker against Fire and Psi, but in return has superior -recharge resistance.
  11. TA is a very active set. I don’t know if it’s necessarily the best combo, but I really enjoy my Mercs/TA. I’m *always* firing off a power. TA is also an excellent “control” set as you get an ST immobilize, AoE slow, ST hold, AoE chance to sleep, AoE knockdown patch, and AoE hold
  12. I now need to tell one of my favorite jokes… There are 10 types of people in this world: those that understand hexadecimal and F the rest
  13. Yeah, I suspect it’s more than a little buggy.
  14. Are you really upgrading all of your IOs instead of just buying attuned IOs on the AH?
  15. That would be nice. i feel like zoning actually clears the timer though, so if i want to change powers, i just pop an ouro or go to a tram/ferry
  16. As @MTeaguesaid, this game is very alt-friendly. There’s no such thing as bound items, so any character can benefit from a drop from any other character, even different players’ drops. I am, however, going to say that /Cold corrupters are very meta right now for true end game content. I say “true end game” because most level 50 content can be completed with pretty much anything, as long as it’s played by a semi-competent player. When you get into 4 Star content, builds matter more. I personally don’t do much “starred” content, so I can’t recommend anything specifically for that, but I know Sonic Blast and Beam Rifle both bring some good extra support for your team.
  17. Exactly, but I just wanted to make sure you knew that it is something “down the road” in case that mattered.
  18. Nope, all Archetypes get access to the exact same Incarnate options. i will note, though that incarnate powers do take a little while after level 50 to actually unlock. You need to unlock the “slot” by gaining experience and you need to get the materials via gaining veteran levels (just gaining levels after you hit 50) or by running incarnate content.
  19. A couple thoughts about those two options. My goal here in not to steer you in one direction or the other, but to give you knowledge so you can make the character you want to make. if you’re planning on taking Hover and leaving it on, Electric Armor has a disadvantage in that situation. The power that Elec Armor gets that provides knockback protection (Grounded) only works while you’re on the ground. However, counter point, Fire Armor gets significantly less knockback protection overall, so you need to plan on slotting some -knockback into Fire Armor. So really, if you want to do either set *and* you want hover, you’ll need to be prepared to be knocked around for a little while. Armor sets: Electric is a bit more sturdy, Fire is a bit more offensive. But both are viable for non-end game content very easily, and both can be made viable for end game content down the line. Brutes are going to do more damage if you move quickly between targets because of their inherent ability, Fury, which increases by attacking and being attacked and decreases over time. Fury provides a bonus to your damage. If you are planning on fighting more slowly, brutes and sentinels will be about equal in damage. Brutes can get tanker than Sentinels due to them having a higher cap to Resistance and maxHP. However, being at range adds to a sentinel’s survivability in that most enemies have more melee attacks than Ranged attacks. If none of that really matters to you, then the biggest take away I can give is “if you want to be primarily ranged, go Sentinel. If you want to be primarily melee, go Brute.” Sentinels can get melee attacks in their Epic pools (available starting at 35) and Brutes get ranged attacks in theirs, but your primary set is going to be where most of your attacks come from. another possible combination you didn’t include is a savage (or electric)/fire/mu brute. This will be an offensive powerhouse combo and Mu Mastery gives ranged electrical attacks. Note that for Mu Mastery, you do need to go reside (rogue or villain alignment) and complete a patron arc. Technically you can just join someone who is doing the last mission in the arc and you get credit for it. If you go the latter path, you only need to go as “evil” as a Vigilante. hmm, maybe I should roll a savage/fire/mu brute
  20. and to further on this, because Electric armor has no in-built Defense Debuff Resistance, any -defense you get is going to be full strength.
  21. I’m wrong… the event that has that portion no longer exists in game https://homecoming.wiki/wiki/The_Clockwork_Paladin
  22. Fire blast does more damage than electric blast, on average.
  23. Part of the Kings Row GM event is an optional “rescue the Shining Stars”
  24. I certainly wouldn’t complain about buffing Storm, but it doesn’t need it, it’s a top tier set. One which is already capable of soloing +4 AVs.
  25. If oil slick “works like other oil slick abilities.” as you suggested, then it is a damaging attack if it can be ignited, that is what I meant. and ”Front Mounted Guns: Fires a cone of damage in front of the car” is an AoE. also, I assumed that RC Bomber would be an AoE by your description.
