    I usually slot SMotT in the first two powers, as those are the ones you'll be firing off more. you can usually get 2 stacks of them that way and with any luck, 3.
  2. what is your end goal with the build? Fissure and Seismic Smash really need to be 5-6 slotted to be great powers I don't know a whole lot about Ice control, so I can't suggest powers from there, but without removing anything, here's a build with a lot more defense Controller - Ice Control - Electrical Affinity.mxd
  3. that's not giving a sense of accomplishment, if anything it's giving more of an incentive to farm, since that's the most efficient way to get purples.

  5. The only thing I want to see buffed (or perhaps its a bug, never got word on this) is that I want it to work on pets. I've tried casting it on Animated Stone several times and never seen the Discharge text.
  6. I don't have too much of a problem with original teleport. Here's a video I have from live of me doing a click-only (no bind) teleport from one corner of IP to the other, took just under 6 minutes... I haven't seen Jaunt, so I can't speak for that, and I certainly wouldn't complain if the animation was to speed up, but I don't think it's *that* slow

Warning: This is coming from the view of a WP/Mace tank you've overcapped the LOTG 7.5% Recharge, meaning you don't need to slot it in one of your powers, I dropped a Defense IO in CJ instead. you don't need the KB to KD in Crowd Control, as it already is KD - I put a -Res proc in there instead I changed Jawbreaker to Overwhelming Force, this will cap your F/C defense, which you weren't capped at before.   12. Oppressive Gloom is a great power for survivability, and it takes a minimal number of slots (though you can do some cool things if you actually slot it). A lot of times I 1 slot it with just an Acc/Mez HO and call it a day. I haven't played Spines/Dark (way too end heavy for my preference) so I really can't comment too much on a build.
  13. I've been working on an Elec/Regen build. Essentially I was told this is possibly one of the worst powerset combinations in the game, which naturally drew me toward it. I have 2 builds, one that I've been actively working toward and the other which is significantly more expensive but provides a lot more damage mitigation. My question is, which build is going to put out more damage. To me, it appears the build I was given does not have a full attack chain, meaning less damage, but perhaps I'm missing something.   14. I'm going to agree that you don't need that much recharge. Just as a comparison, here is my Bio/Spines build, it caps E/N/F/C defenses and give s a touch more S/L resist at the expense of non-S/L resist.   15. Just to throw this out there, the origin powers for technology and magic do energy damage, which will ignite OSA
  16. Not sure if this is a bug or if it's intentional, but Amp Up does not seem to work on controller pets, I've used it for a good hour on animated stone and have not seen Discharge once and the hold from his attack doesn't seem to be any longer.

  19. staff is generally considered on the lower side (though I don't really feel it too much on a brute). Savage is a very fast set, so it benefits Fury greatly.
  20. IMO, it's probably a bit OP, though my highest is a 37 Earth/Elec troller, so I haven't gotten to see Amp Up yet. I do expect to see a few nerfs in the upcoming future, but it is a very fun (and clicky) set to play.

  22. My guess is that it has to do with a simple theory... there's too much inf in the world and not enough inf sinks. Put in bids for rares at 500k and you'll get it within a few days. I list all my rares at 100k and usually get between 450 and 600k for it.
  23. I'm assuming by poison you mean Toxic damage. Toxic Damage is rare because it is resisted by so few enemies (or , that would be my guess as to why it's rare). Spines has minor Toxic damage on it Dual Pistols has it in Chemical Rounds Thorny Assault (Dominators) has it Atomic Manipulation (Blaster) Has it in Atom Smasher I agree it would be interesting to see it in more sets, but Savage Melee doesn't really make sense, why would scratching someone do Toxic damage?

    unless you're running around with (almost) full Fury, a scrapper should out-damage a Brute every time. That being said, I too much prefer brutes over scrappers.

Dark/Dark wasn't originally available to tanks /ELA was not originally available at all (it came out with CoV and then it was limited to Brutes) you wouldn't have any trouble with a team like that except for Recluse. The tank won't be able to heal until the orange tower is down. This could be mitigated by multiple people with Rebirth, but I think your better option is a Granite Tank built for Recharge/Damage and an Empathy to keep AB and RA on him.
