  1. In addition to what's already been said, I'd like to add slotting -To-hit into Dark attacks means you're sacrificing something else. Damage? don't want to do that, Recharge? Don't want to do that. End Redux? Maybe if you have Cardiac Alpha. Accuracy? Probably don't want to do that unless you have a ton of global accuracy bonuses from IOs.

  4. You can always start your own small team group and advertise it as such. I've done that a handful of times.
  5. No, it's not always that easy. What level was the rest of your team? Were they IO'd out? What was the other Defender? these (and other things) can all impact how easy a team moves. Debuffers are technically not needed in any content, as long as the team comp is right. That being said, they do make all content easier for a team. TA/A is a fun combination, but it really doesn't shine until you get Oil Slick Arrow (26) and EMP Arrow (32) slotted up. Even then, it will never be a solo beast unless you specifically build for it with IOs.
  6. I can't speak to it on Tanks (my highest is only level 8 ) but I can tell you that on Brutes it can destroy stuff.
  7. Believe it or not, mine's simple Tanking Recluse in a Master of Ms. Liberty TF on my WP/Mace. I know it's not the hardest thing to do, but it sure did make me feel powerful.

  9. Regen and WP both need -Regen resistance. I monitor my Regen on my WP/Mace tank and it is amazing how often he'll go from >3%/s to 0. (granted, I've been fighting a lot of Malta recently)

  11. It's ok for area denial, but the KB->KD is just so worth it.
  12. I'd actually 2nd DP regardless of your teaming preferences. Incendiary works great for solo and for teams that don't need the extra damage, Chemical's -damage stacks nicely with FF's Defense for an extra layer of mitigation.
  13. I think the only thing that needs to happen with Placate is the time between activation and going hidden needs to be shortened, now it's at least 1 second, maybe closer to 1.5-2 seconds.
  14. Even on my BS/Nin which has at least 49% defense to all positions I find myself using smoke bomb in larger teams and placate in smaller teams/solo
  15. Pretty much this. For self damage go fire, for team damage (which as a ff or Sonic you'll likely be teaming a lot) go Sonic
  16. I haven't played him in ages, but I have a Sonic/dark defender. Between the resist buffs from Sonic and the to-hit debuffs from dark, you turn your team into gods. Then to to it if (later game) you get a self heal to help with your own survivability. The only major drawback is that it really depends on a team to shine. The defender will get better resist and -to-hit numbers, but I say if you enjoy the corrupter then play it
  17. I've been told ( but haven't tested it myself) that turning off camera shake fixes most crashes. I've always just turned it off and have never crashed
  18. They are most likely a toggle so that you can't set it to auto fire when it is up.

  21. My understanding is axe is slower but does more damage per attack, while mace is faster but does slightly less damage per attack. Also, axe purely has knockdown as a secondary, while mace has since stun mixed in there too
  22. Yep, you're going to have end issues. My suggestion (which most people will hate) would be to drop Hasten for Physical Perfection and slot a Miracle and a Panacea into there. The Enhanced Heal in RTTC (to my knowledge) does not affect Regen. Also, drop the Winter's Gift Slow Resistance in Super Jump, it's dirt cheap and extremely helpful.
  23. I really like my Staff/EnA brute. Not sure if it's the best combo or not, but I've got him with soft-capped defense, solid resists and a concept that I love.
  24. not going through 4 pages to figure out if this is posted already but: Costume changes are free before level 10. If you go to pocket D you can use War Witch to both make alternate costumes and work toward Pocket D VIP badge for the teleporter.
  25. I suspect the reason is the Mace blast colors are tintable, and you cant have something Tint and have no redraw. That being said, I could support a no-redraw without tint.
