they're mostly used for people who do video or photographic processing. I hve looked at one but it's far to expensive for me to justify. I think some streamers use them more as a kind of social media connect rather than a serious tool. I think the only way I could justify it would be if I was editing photos or videos full time and I'm not. I use a Razer Tarterus and a Naga mouse - having gone through two n52 Nostromos. They're plenty good enough for my needs (and skil level) Ok I take that back. It's nowhere near as expensive as I recall but I'd still struggle to justify its use but I can see how it might appeal to some

I am a big fan of poison but I rarely ever try and solo AVs - I have a Beast/Poison and a Poison/Water def and also a poison/dark which I mentioned above. All very potent but the defender is squishy

I've never used Burnout nor indeed paid much attention to it. But this is interesting. I play mostly on Excelsior these days, so I'm thinking I don't want to do a server transfer nor do I want to create another Demon/Cold But what about a Dark/Cold troller? I've experienced Dark Control on live and like it a lot - it's potent and it strikes me that the cold shields will work well on pets. The Dark gives the -to Hit and the Cold is the =Res It could be interesting.

I have a Demons/Cold MM on Reunion, which I always enjoyed but never felt like it was the AV killre and I've had a fun Earth/Rad troller - but he wasn't a patch on my Earth/Thermal which surprised me. I'm quite a fan of Melt Armor and the buffs of thermal are good for teamage. I have a particular project in mind and this caught my eye

I see a lot of folks extolling the virtues of Cold Domination especially when taking down big bad nasties such as AVs. I remember wondering about that and doing a comparison with Rad Emission and (from memory) it seemed Rad was better at debuffing and also did not waste powers on shields which is something Cold does well. So from the perspective of debuffing a tough enemy - think EB/AV, which is better and why? I'm thinking of an MM or a Controller - I have a concept or two in mind but I want to know what the actual numbers are. I feel like I'm missing something.

Earth/Thermal is an outstanding support set. I seriously mean it's up there with the best in terms of survivability - but there are a couple of caveats to consider: You'll take a little time to set up for specific solo battles, so your progress will be slow. You also don't do a huge amount of native damage - Rocky is one of your most damaging powers so he needs to be nurtured. That said you have some amazing debuffs which you can keep up if you sequence them right so many of your opponents literally crumble before you - but AV fights can be tough. If you want to kill AVs, then Earth/Poison is a good call - you can stiff buff Rocky but not nearly so well. If however you want total chaos, you can go the disco route - Earth, Wind and Fire - Control, Knockback, Debuffs and Damage. It's a tonne of fun

I think it's also important to remember that Zukunft was one of the best populated servers (we had 4 in the EU pre-merge) and full of German speakers. I did try and engage but my German language is schoolboy and they were busy doing other stuff. So I totally get the decision and it paid of. Until NCSoft decided they didn't need a German CC and that killed the server pretty fast after that. But I doubt that would have been the case if Paragon had raised old wounds unnecessarily.

I don't believe there is a massive contradiction there. Fascism, like capitalism or other political ideologies comes in a spectrum of thought so perhaps we might be in danger of overthinking it. We can perhaps allow players to draw their own inference, as we do in so much other RP in this game. As an example, I have a couple of characters who are wedded to Emperor Coles ideals of keeping Praetorian Earth safe at all costs and indeed I ran an entire SG on live known by it's acronym: PISS* Again it's worth repeating - this game gives us what we want it to give us, time and time over. Maybe that's why it's still here. *Praetorian Imperial Secret Service if you weren't able to work it out for yourselves.
