Most of you probably do not know i run almost all Dark…. okay, seriously though. That was for context. So I built a Fire Fire Fire Blaster about a year ago. For lulz. The build goal was very straightforward. Cram as many +damage% on as I could. Then for incarnate powers always the max damage options. Now vet level 135. This last week Justice Superteamers ran a 6 person +4 ITF. We had no melee. Someone asked about tanking. One of the other Justice players who has seen this said “Snarky will tank on the fire blaster”. And i did. No problem. Because when things disappear the agro is managed. This worked well. At one point there was a server message about being in the red. Someone teased me in discord about advertising for cash. Because i had been doing it all day. So i stopped and typed out “server is now red. Redside processing fees of 10 mil inf please send to @Snarky. Thank you”. The team moved on to the first general fight on the bridge while i was doing this. Couple deaths. Some comments about “i thought that would work…”. I joined the team and started leading again with nukes. We went merrily along I have always been surprised by how survivable this little defense no resistance Blaster is.

the only thing i can think is against BAB the guy packs a wallop. but 15 secs? when has anyone put down the Freedom phalanx in... okay, some of these geeks have. but still, thats the only place it might be useful. 4 pts KB prot is great against 99% game...

i rarely miss. Solo i run on easy mode, as i am doing every mission. I use a kismet +to hit and standard +acc of 15-80, with most powers havein 35 or so

kicking a deader to a random server. you think this will populate "near empty servers" over time. really? because the person with the dead toon had a goal when they made it. playing the character is more likely to be a negative after the death. but you think the death will make them realize they need to make a close connection with people on a random lower population server? you have interacted with real human beings before, right?

way to make a really bad idea even worse. do you work in government by any chance?

In math it is real simple. Take x. X is whatever. 2x is twice that. 2 is the scalar. If it was x^2. (X raised to the power of 2). That would be exponential scaling. But in the context of the game, as complicated as this one is, it should still just be a “straight” modifier of whatever value is discussed. Which can be confusing since sometimes the value is itself a scalar, as in Archetype damage scalars. This just waded out into deep waters. The next step is … down there somewhere

I will throw one at the floor. The intangibility in Black Hole. I am using it the other night on Devouring Earth with Justice Superteamers (we are on Discord) and it was still hard to communicate about the emanators being intangible, or the swarm. In a kill all. It was not good. The rework of the power offers very little and keeps the worst part, semi randomly. Even if you know what is happening, communication with a team about it is just… difficult if not impossible.

trust me, almost every geek who chose a "no leg" option, (be it fire, ice, hover platform like the freaks have, tendrils like CoT spectres have, or whatever...) will NOT choose powers that have kick animations. We are hard core about our designs.
